  1. That's actually a lot closer overall to the golden ratio than I would've thought. It's a nice guideline (Ignoring things like smaller pieces or less plastic or specialized pieces...), but in the past few years it's seemed like more of an unrealistic expectation when it comes to Star Wars.
  2. Nice entrance, Pie — you didn't trip this time.
  3. What? No, everybody knows that Snowspeeders are the perfect complement to A-wings, and studies have shown that all kids want some random clone troopers and droidekas thrown in because teh Pahse 1 clowns r awsum espicealy when u color them w sharpies SuperPack 66449 for the win!
  4. Was it just made available on the site? It could actually be sold out; that wouldn't be unprecedented. The last iteration of Luke's Landspeeder was sold out very quickly after it was first released, and then was backordered for a couple months. Considering how iconic the cantina is and how long AFOLs have waited for a set like this, it wouldn't surprise me.
  5. I don't see how we're not letting somebody else have a chance simply by saying that we're willing to buy. It's not as if we have so much Gold or can gain so much Gold that no one can outbid us.
  6. Taking in the scenery in the Fields while waiting for Namyrra's Dead Men of Dunharrow to finish up, I see a piece of paper delivered by Z-mail. Right, this time of year again. I sign up for the raffle.
  7. I probably don't have to say this, but if anyone else wins the Adamantite Shard, PM me and I'll buy that relatively-useless-to-you item for a significant amount of Gold.
  8. To be precise, 115 episode entries, 19 freebuild vehicles, 98 freebuild vignettes and dioramas, and 3 freebuild miniatures. For perspective, in one year, you guys have built more SoNE MOCs than all the EU MOCs that have ever been posted in this forum and recorded in the MOC Index. If it wasn't for the ideas of Lobot, Bob De Quatre, and Nom Carver, this would never have been more than a concept for a two-month community build. So one could say that I joined because of them.
  9. If they're eight years old and starting to fall apart, you might as well wash and then reassemble. After that amount of time, you most likely won't be able to clean them just by using a soft paintbrush or by blowing on them. If you've got some yellowing pieces, you might have to use the trick of soaking in peroxide or OxiClean, but I think eight years ago is recent enough that you won't have the pieces with the bromine fire retardant that causes the serious yellowing.
  10. Welcome to EB! We use the General Star Wars Questions topic that's pinned at the top of this forum for questions like this. I've moved the conversation over there.
  11. Um...if you want to, but I don't know what that would accomplish... Ah, we started judging before you posted that and I missed it. We'll get that done as soon as possible. Sorry about that.
  12. Sorry about the massive posting spree there from our judge.
  13. I like this one. Maybe put some kind of cap on it, though, like "No more than 50%."Although I suppose that any hero of high enough Level to instantly kill an enemy using Cursed would also instantly kill it with a normal attack.
  14. OoC: ...and...right you are. Looks like Sandy used the word 'damage' rather than 'attack.' My bad.
  15. OoC: I think the Dread Hat is supposed to prevent the Aepyornis from doing anything to me, since it doesn't have an AoE attack, but I suppose that's open to your interpretation of the description, "enemies will not attack the wearer" with regards to effects. I attack Aepyornis A from the Back Row with my Darksteel Crossbow. Order of Actions: Undead Bartholomew Docken Johon Namyrra Uq Namyrra Uq
  16. I wouldn't be opposed, assuming it doesn't take too long for the next party to get going to the Fields. I wouldn't want to stay any longer than it takes me to get to Level 50, though. To be honest, I do kind of want to go on a regular quest sooner rather than later.
  17. Also Khorne's two Diseased Silverfish Wings, and K-nut's Scepter of Divine Affinity has a 1/6 chance to deal Cursed.
  18. I started out as a Ranger and I've never developed any Ether-related skills, so I'm going with Mime. Not a problem. I'd estimate three or four more Rounds at the worst for Quarry's army to finish them off.
  19. I'm...not sure. I recall Bricksandparts saying he wanted to go back at the beginning of August for an Endgame quest, but looking at the Hall, Endgame doesn't appear to have any open sign-ups. I, for one, want to get to at least 200 GP and preferably Level 50 before leaving.
  20. "Understood." I attack Aepyornis A from the Back Row with my Darksteel Crossbow, then I throw a Fire Bomb from the Back Row.
  21. I attack Aepyornis D from the Back Row with my Darksteel Crossbow. If Aepyornis D is Blinded, I attack Aepyornis A from the Back Row with my Darksteel Crossbow, else, I attack Aepyornis D from the Back Row with my Darksteel Crossbow. Order of Actions: Undead Bartholomew Docken Bartholomew Docken Johon Namyrra Uq Namyrra Uq
  22. That's not very unusual; there are never any safety railings in Star Wars. Nice job with the rockwork, the supporting equipment, and the presentation of the story. I do wish that the landing pad was a color other than white, because it makes it hard to distinguish the difference between the ship and the support vehicles and the pad itself.
  23. Yeah, you do need those two hundred posts. Sorry!
