  1. "I was compensating for the fact that I took the Lover's Locket, and have already gotten two artifacts from this quest."
  2. I don't worry that Scum might try to save him; I worry that the Scum might have a Watcher and, knowing whom the Vig is killing, stick the Watcher on that person and find out who the Vig is.
  3. I don't want to make what would be left of this conversation all choppy, so I won't move posts over to Future Sets, but remember that speculation about 2013 sets belongs in that thread. If a 2013 set is revealed at SDCC, one of the staff will get a 2013 Rumors thread up at that time. Until then, let's keep the speculation about sets other than the Rancor Pit in Future Sets. Thanks!
  4. The only thing that hold me back from voting for Pewter is that he strikes me as a more experienced person who wouldn't slip up in such an obvious manner, but the Godfather thing makes sense. The order they're killed in doesn't really matter to me, as long as they're both killed. My only concern is that the Scum, knowing who the Vig's target will be, might put a Watcher on that person.
  5. I know. I was joking, too. Your ' ' threw me off the first time, but I can make jokes.I am Scum! I mean Town! Town, I say! Give me your red shirt so I can kill you and put it on my pet snake, the Psychiatrist! Oink oink! See?
  6. MegaBloks*, Gordon, you're so funny! *Because saying "Lol" and "OMG" is not the type of English that EB staff members should be encouraging.
  7. Which would have helped because...why?
  8. Call it bragging if you want to; I was pointing out that if we're going to metagame, zeroing in on targets is something I've done successfully as Town, because a couple others pointed out that I did that as Scum in the simulation.
  9. I've never had any success getting anything out of them, but, okay. It's not hard to be a sheep. I've done it before. Giving an unhelpful, sheepish answer when "poked" has got to be one of the easiest ways to respond to an accusation. I know I was significantly less active early Yesterday, and a lot of that was because everyone was going back and forth; what I saw for roughly the first half of Yesterday was essentially someone accusing someone for accusing someone for accusing someone of being a sheep.
  10. I hand the Hood to Lawrence, the Aquamarine to Haldor, the lamp and 25 Gold to Nur and the remaining 75 Gold to Jess. "Is this arrangement acceptable for everyone?"
  11. I was told that some people found that suspicious during the situation, and that confuses me. If we're going to metagame, you might recall that I've done this before as Town, and I've lynched Scum with it. In a situation known as Yakuza, I zeroed in on a Scum named 'Yasu', going after her against the rest of the Town and despite her roleclaim. Why do so many of you continue to go after the sheep who summarize and agree with others, claiming to have reviewed everything that's happened? In my experience, the sheep always act that way whether they're Town or Scum, and unless they slip up and reveal that they know something they shouldn't, I think we currently have bigger fish to fry.
  12. I agree. Those little splashes of color really set the Rebel fighters apart from their greyscale Imperial rivals, but they're not too colorful, like some PT craft.
  13. Because if you didn't edit it, it never referred to you, so you couldn't use it to defend yourself. And, oh, look, WIFOM.
  14. Of course. The only reasons I can think of for his doing it are if he and Pewter are both Scum, and Pewter has some more important, non-inheritable role or if he, for one reason or another, got really desperate and hoped we wouldn't notice. (he could be the Jester, but that doesn't exactly help us in our reasoning since it basically justifies any Scum-tell)
  15. Yeah, I know that. I was just saying that it made some sense, because that's what I thought when he first quoted it. I had remembered that that statement was made before his, so I didn't go back and check the exact wording.
  16. I was thinking that it was some sort of mixed up comment about Robbin's having been killed being a good reason to lynch Campbell.
  17. Oh, wow, I didn't even notice that. No wonder I didn't count that post the first time around.
  18. Fine, I'll count the first one, even if he didn't really say he suspected you. The third was made after you made the statement that I responded to.
  19. "everyone else"? One person had stated suspicion of you Today before you made the statement. No one was "quick on the offensive". Someone noticed that your accuser from Yesterday was killed, and pointed that out. That's no reason for you to be quick to defend yourself, as you yourself admit, by stating the obvious. Why do you defend yourself by saying that you were "talking about being scum from a purely hypothetical standpoint"? That's kind of an obvious assumption for us to make. If you weren't, you'd be admitting that you were Scum.
  20. There're these, from '92. I think we have a thread for this somewhere; I'll see if I can find it... ...ah, here it is. I'll merge this in a moment...
  21. "Good work. "I'm not sure how to divide the loot, yet. Who wants the Hood, and do any of you want the Aquamarine? The only one of us who can use it already has one..."
  22. QM Note:Oops, yes, it is supposed to say 'Party Leader'. Fixed.
  23. This post seems like you're very quick (desperate?) to clear yourself. You keep stating the obvious to back up your claim to be Town. Fact is, if you were Scum, there's no guarantee that you would have tried to kill Falcon, and it is not impossible that you could be Scum who tried to kill him and failed. Falcon could have been protected, killer could have been blocked, Falcon might be bulletproof... Just because the fact that Falcon is alive doesn't make you seem Scummy doesn't mean that it makes you any more Townie.
