I found some Target gift cards from a couple years ago that I hadn't used, and they had this set online for $66.99 with free shipping, so I got:

"Pleased to meet you, Master Carvenhall. "No, I will not be signing up for Quest 44. There's something I need to buy from another hero, and he's out on a quest right now, so I must wait for him to return." "I can't help but overhear - you recently returned from the Fields of Glory, no? Are those Direwolves still there? Annoying things, those. More than twice as tall as a man when I last faced them - I have no idea how one of them was able to disguise himself as a sheep, even if Master Donauld's sheep are larger than men. They just kept coming and coming and coming..."

"Certainly, Master... Carvenhall, correct?"I hand Benji the Venom and accept the 3 Gold.

Heroica RPG - Expert Job Class Discussion
Brickdoctor replied to LEGOman273's topic in The Heroica Archive
Being a Warden myself, I'm probably a bit biased towards wanting to keep my own class more unique when I say this, but if you want to distance this class from Warden, I suggest getting rid of the ability to use a shield. The Invulnerability and Stunning for the remainder of the Round and the other bonuses provided by Take to the Skies could be expanded for the other rolls to make this more of an offensive support class that's still more than powerful enough to be at the top of the Order of Actions. Logically, it's kind of hard to fly around and fight effectively if you're lugging a shield around with you. -
That makes two Sandy quests, now, in which the heroes have decided to sit out the rest of a battle and do nothing.
-
I think Kadabra's doing it to roleplay, sacrificing the advantage in game mechanics to develop his character. It's your fault; you're the one who started an entire topic to encourage players to do things like that.
-
The problem is that you've tried to use HTML to embed the pictures. EB won't accept HTML coding in members' posts; you'll have to use BBCode instead. There's a tutorial on how to embed photos from flickr here.

Both your artifact slots are already occupied, and even if one of those artifacts is borrowed, an empty artifact slot can be filled with things much more powerful than a 50% chance at Fleeing when KO'd. I would just keep it as one weapon and switch to physical attacks if you're in danger. If you need the effect of the weapon, the enemy's probably going to have pretty low Health anyways, because otherwise you'd just use your ability to Flee having multiclassed with Rogue.
-
As far as the Staff of the Cultist Battlemage is concerned, I don't mind whether it is kept as-is even after the rule clarification, or if it is split up into a weapon and an artifact. I'll leave the decision up to Flipz.
-
I would still prefer to change it into a broomstick, since otherwise it would take up an artifact slot, but that's fine with me, if Flipz agrees.

And the price of Mead should drop considerably once they do win.

Actually that is the updated info. JediNews had three clones, Hulk_Smash had Krell, one clone, and a pilot, and Celebration VI had Krell and two clones, so I just listed the clones with question marks. I changed that. Is it less confusing now?
-
If I go to the Fields, I'm debating whether I should go face the Direwolves for old time's sake, or just avoid them because they still annoy me, nearly fifty quests later. "Bah, retcons!"
-
Since I created the Staff of the Cultist Battlemage, can I change it into a Broomstick of the Cultist Battlemage? It's really pretty much useless otherwise. As Flipz said, why would you risk going to the Front Row and giving up an elemental attack for only a 50% chance at Fleeing?
-
As you also posted this in the Photography thread, I'll combine your posts and get rid of the extra... ...and done. Excellent photos, by the way, and welcome to EB.

Yeah, that weapon was created assuming that the effect would apply whenever any attack was made with the weapon equipped.

You are allowed to post your trades in the Marketplace, too. (or at least I think you can - it's been a while since I sold that first Fang Dagger in the Marketplace after Q1) Same here.

Hinck never played Heroica; Foog was the other test quester.

The Apparitions are respawned at the end of each Round to look identical to the real one, and the real one is determined by a random draw at the beginning of each Round, so all the enemies will always appear exactly the same, and the real one isn't always going to be the same one.

The guy with the sword and the brown Forestman's hat uses Boromir's torso; flute-guy uses Pippin's.

Mill Village Raid.
-
Is that supposed to be there? I thought that caused some problems after the major software upgrade a couple years ago, which is why it's only in the staff forums.
-
It looks great. Thanks, Draggy. (and I'm sure Hinck helped, too)
-
Yep.I knew this was coming, but this is the first time I've gotten to see the graphics - love the color scheme and banner. I'm assuming you're responsible for the latter, Hinck - where'd you get such a nice big Heroica logo?
