The next quest I host won't have the Lion Knights as one of the main factions involved, and none of the Lion NPCs will be player-controlled, if that's what you're worried about.

An epic quest sounds good. Just make sure you don't take too many heroes, because when I get around to hosting another quest... well, all my quests end up being epics.

Hinck used the face from Pandora's new sig-fig for the Nyx in the Heroica subforum banner. The Nyx head reminds me of Pandora, and the Pandora face reminds me of Nyx.
-
There are some faces that I associate with Heroica players: Nyx's, Boomingham's, Atramor's, Guts', Cinna's, Cronk's, En Sabah's, Eric's, L'Oréal's, Tesni's, Thormanil's, and Tomas' come to mind. On the other hand, Ellaria's face always reminds of me Pandora's old sig fig, while Sarge Jon always looks like Zorbas. And, ironically, whenever I see Docken's face by itself, I always end up picturing it with a brown tricorne and it reminds me of Shadows.

Indeed, it's almost funny how CW has advanced as a theme to the point where every wave draws either complaints from the OT fans or complaints from the CW fans. I'm an OT fan, and I can't say that this wave as a whole pleases me, but I think TLG's got a good rotation between subthemes going and has worked in something for everyone within these last two years that we all expected to be dominated by Menace and Clones sets.

Or Mages on Horses.

Oh, good, it's not just me and my inactivity, then. I know the concept of a Builder's Academy on EB has been discussed in the past, but it's never been implemented because it's too hard to set clear rules of what is right or what is wrong or what is a good style or what isn't in MOCing. (and I highly doubt that SoT is referring to TLG's Master Builder Academy )

Since we're talking about borders, do the borders count in measuring the size? And, not that I think I'll have any at this size, being a vignette builder, but to be thorough, what about overhang?

Roast Penguin, your stats match those of a Level 1 Cleric, but they list you as part of a nonexistent 'Gypsy' class. You have to use the name of your class; you can't change it.

The evil QM inside me supports that first idea. The player part of me thinks it'd make strategy a lot harder or less useful, but that if it was only used for a few enemies it would be a nice twist. I love the second idea.

"Good to see you Master Emorith. I'm sure you're listening, Master Finnegan; it's good to see you as well. I've just been waiting here in the Hall for Master Nihai to return, but I figure I can kill some time in the Field of Glory..."I pause for a moment, looking Althior over and judging his Level and Defense. "...and I'd be happy to have you quest with me." OoC: We can sign up for the Unlimited Quest as parties, right, Sandy? Right now we've got myself as Party Leader, Xander (posades), Dyric (Legonater), and Althior (K-nut).

...remind me to stock up on Remedies.

It only takes 80 Gold to buy a readily available artifact to prevent that.

"Farmer Donauld promised to "put me through hell" the next time I quest for him with this:"I hold up my shield. "You'd would be a powerful ally, of that there is no doubt, but I don't want to give him any more excuses for send us against enemies that circumvent high Defense." OoC: I can always try my best and hope.
-
Docken might be all polite and respectful, but Brickdoctor cares only about making sure his character's as powerful as possible. But seriously, I'd love to quest with you.
-
Let's see, you're of a lower Level, and you don't have much Defense, so you could help force the enemies to be of a lower Level in order to be balanced, which works in favor of my Defense, so... sure, I'll take you!
-
"Sir Alexandre, if you join our party, then we'll have two heroes with high Defense, and the Voice in the Sky will have even more reason to throw in enemies with high Levels and armor-piercing attacks."

Zeph, JimB, and I certainly know that feeling.

Interestingly enough, the Mail originally had only SP: 1, and Sandy deemed it too weak, so I increased its SP before it was approved.

The Mail of the Renegade Commander halves the Damage dealt by Free Hits.

It was discussed, but as far as I know it never got changed; that's how I've always calculated it in the quests I've hosted and how it's always been calculated in the quests I've been on.
