  1. "Of course. Hopefully, I won't need to use this Essence and I'll be able to return it to you." I accept the Darksteel Crossbow and Phoenix Essence.
  2. "Oh, that would be a good idea. I suggest you give one to me, as I have the highest Defense and Health, and keep the other one or give it to Master Unth'or." OoC: I think you have to post saying that you want to switch the artifacts and give someone the crossbow, too.
  3. How did this not get blogged? It's awesome. The way each of those large curved pieces has been used, it's as if they were picked out just for this model, not for the Desert Skiff set. Really, really great parts usage.
  4. I don't think so. They're both in the same time period and the differences in animation style and storytelling aren't that noticeable in an MOC, so I think we decided not to make things too specific and give members more options of what to build.
  5. Ultimately, the decision is up to the host, but in all our recent builds on EB there's been no rule against multiple entries.
  6. OoC: Are we forgetting something we need to do before we move on? "While we're here and in no danger, Master Rone, I do have a couple suggestions: I suggest that you unequip your Sticky Gloves and equip the Aqua Gear in its place. You won't get as much Gold, but if there's an enemy dealing Water-elemental Damage - of which I think there's a good chance, you'll be protected. Can't gain Gold at all if you're Knocked Out. "I also suggest that you let either Master Unth'or or myself use your Darksteel Crossbow, so we can take advantage of its ability to deal Blindness."
  7. No, the problem was the MegaBlokin' anagrams.
  8. I don't. Didn't John Paul use one? Or has he just used the armor? Not me. When I get around to hosting again, it'll probably be a quest in R'kilf, but if I do host that quest, it won't involve Eubric.
  9. You do get a lot more options with an EU CB that covers the entire timeline, but the object of a Community Build is to motivate a lot of members to build at the same time with the same central theme. Limiting the source material to a time period establishes that theme (the Old Republic or the New Jedi Order, for example). Limiting the source material based on the type of production basically just leaves 'Star Wars' as the theme, since the differences between video games and books is usually only significantly evident in the storytelling, something that is much less noticeable in an MOC than, for example, the difference between the technology of the Old Republic era and the Legacy era.
  10. That wouldn't make sense, anyways, since once you loot the enemies' remains, you've taken their stuff, and reviving them isn't going to suddenly make duplicates of their stuff appear for you to pick up after you kill them again. (yes, it's magic, but regenerating lost items isn't specified in the description of the Phoenix Essence) Farming XP, on the other hand...
  11. I plan to introduce the Insanely Overpowered Fire Bomb in my next quest.
  12. That's what I usually do, too, but Nyx is a Battle Mage, so she rolls Counter, not Damage.I'm with Zeph; if she gets attacked by herself, her attacker (herself) is wielding the Healing Staff, and then she attacks her attacker (herself) with the Healing Staff, so she would get struck by the Healing Staff twice. The first attack would be WP: 5 + Level: 22 = 27 Health restored, and the counter would be WP: 5 = 5 Health restored, so she should heal herself by 32 Health.
  13. "I would like to save our consumables for the Threshold Guardian, so other than Master Unth'or, who had two Venoms, I don't think there should be any other consumables used in preparation. We're now all at or very close to full Health or Ether, so we should be good to go." I lead the party to Rainbow Falls.
  14. Masterfully done, ISC. I really like the way the trees are simply done and seem to fade out as they grow upwards; they're effective and they avoid dominating or obscuring the diorama. And as has been said, the layering of the colorful, organic terrain over the black, angular base is perfect. The Barraki tentacle? It's from Bionicle, but in green it comes in the City of Atlantis.
  15. "Nice work, Master Unth'or. "Master Unth'or and Master Rone, figure out who's keeping the Loaded Die - it's definitely got more potential in Master Unth'or's hands, but that would significantly weaken you, Master Rone. "Now, for the loot. The Ores and Pearl are fairly easy to divide among the four of us; but the other items, not so much, now that we know how cheap Health Cores are compared to Ether Cores. For now, I'm going to divide this up according to who can make the most of each item, and then I'll try to balance things out later after other battles. "So, since you're the only one who can use Ether, I'll give the Ether core to you, Master Emorith. I have the most Health and can use them the best, and I also have a high SP so I can survive and give them to you, so I'll keep the Health Cores for myself. You deal the most Damage with each attack, so, Master Unth'or, I'll give you the Smelling Salts. I think we'll be seeing more Water-elemental Damage in the coming battles, and you have no SP, so I'll give you the Aqua Gear, Master Rone. The Black Pearl to Master Unthor, a Silver Ore for Master Emorith, a Silver Ore for Master Rone and I'll keep a Silver Ore. "As for the Aquamarines, Master Emorith is the only one who can use them right now, and he already has one, so I'll hang on to both Aquamarines for now, and we can decide who gets them later when there's other loot to be divided, unless one of you wants one." OoC: To summarize, Smelling Salts and Black Pearl for Xander Ether Core and Silver Ore for Althior Aqua Gear and Silver Ore for Dyric 2 Health Cores and Silver Ore for me The 2 Aquamarines are to be distributed later; I'll hang on to them for now. Once the loot is divided up, I lead the party back to the Sanctuary to rest.
  16. "You can Remedy Master Emorith if you want to, but I suggest you do nothing."
  17. They look kind of like scorpions.
  18. I consume a Potion. Order of Actions: Xander Unth'or Bartholomew Docken Dyric Rone Althior Emorith
  19. This would be so great already if it was just what was shown in the first picture, but the pool of gold is what really makes this an awesome MOC. I remember reading once on The Brothers Brick that one key to good MOC is timing, how the MOC is related to what's currently happening in the world. Perfectly executed here.
  20. Not if you count the hex map battles in Quest 31.
  21. "I do think it's worth it, but I'm thinking that a Remedy can cure a lot more things than a Potion can, and we have more Potions than Remedies, so it makes more sense to use some Potions here to heal those that really need it rather than Remedy the healer. I'd like to have a good amount of Remedies heading to the more difficult battles."
  22. "Okay, so I'll give Master Unth'or a Potion to get him close to full Health. Master Unth'or will equip the Loaded Die, Master Rone can sit out, and Master Emorith should heal himself. Do we want to save Remedies or give one to Master Emorith?" I give Xander a Potion. "I'll take the Free Hit; I can take a Potion next Round when Master Unth'or begins targeting the Aquaphant." Order of Actions: Bartholomew Docken Xander Unth'or Dyric Rone Althior Emorith.
  23. OoC: Aww, MegaBloks. I forgot that you're under Level 20, posades. You have to equip the Loaded Die, replacing one of your other artifacts. I suggest replacing the Hunter's Quiver and dropping the Beast type.
