Post your general LEGO Star Wars questions here
Brickdoctor replied to XimenaPaulina's topic in LEGO Star Wars
As far as I can tell, there are no named black protocol droids. The RA-7 did appear in a movie on the Death Star, so my guess is that TLG didn't want to make a new mold and simply recolored the existing 3PO-series minifig based on the RA-7. -
Discussion of Disney's purchase of Lucasfilm and its effects on the future of LEGO Star Wars belongs over in Disney buys out Lucasfilm. Moving a couple posts...

Heroica RPG - Unlimited Quest: Fields of Glory
Brickdoctor replied to Sandy's topic in The Heroica Archive
"I don't suggest that we Remedy everyone this time, but I think it would be worthwhile to make sure that at least you, Master Unth'or, are Lucky, since you can deal so much Damage." I use a Remedy on Xander. "So, I use the Remedy and absorb the Free Hit, then Master Rone and Master Unth'or transfer the Loaded Die, then Master Emorith heals Master Unth'or or gives him a Potion?" Order of Actions: Bartholomew Docken Dyric Rone Xander Unth'or Althior Emorith -

"If I'm absorbing the Free Hit, we don't need to heal everybody this Round, so I think it would be better if I gave Master Unth'or a Remedy this Round. Otherwise, the Loaded Die will just negate the Jinxed effect." -

"If it's alright with Master Rone, I do agree that he should give the Loaded Die to someone else for this battle to take full advantage of its power. However, if anyone should get it, I think it should be Master Unth'or, as he deals more Damage. I don't need to be Lucky to absorb Free Hits." -

"Okay, how do you guys want to handle this? I can easily take a Free Hit from the Aquaphant if you want to take consumables." -
They could always go farther into the future so that the storyline matches up with the current ages of the original actors.

About the fears of some of my fellow OT fans: I'm not replying to any particular post, but I don't get the worry that Disney won't be able to recreate the feel of the OT. It's not as if any of the OT fans really thinks the existing producer - Lucas - has done anything to capture that feel in almost thirty years. If Disney does this well, great! If Disney manages to do even worse than the PT and CW, then the attitude of the OT fans doesn't change. Worst cast scenario is that Disney completely destroys the storyline, makes the novels non-canon, focuses on the magical aspect of the Force by expanding the Mortis story... Yet no matter what Disney does, it's not as if they can prevent us from watching and preferring the old movies and books, just like we already do. On the other hand, there's plenty that they can do to make improved new movies that we would enjoy. For the OT fan, the only possible change to Star Wars is an improvement.

Heroica RPG - Unlimited Quest: Fields of Glory

OoC: Gotcha. Your choice, I guess, K-nut. On one hand, it's always nice to have a healer that's healthy and can concentrate on healing others. On the other hand, we don't really want to be without posades' high Damage. -
TLG has licenses with both Lucasfilm and Disney already, so the license shouldn't change.
-
And on the CGI and effects front, let's not forget that Disney's also acquired ILM in this deal; they've worked with Pixar on films with groundbreaking effects before.
-
My thoughts exactly. On one hand, Lucas hasn't made anything I've liked in a significant amount of time, and if things get even worse within the franchise under Disney, I can just treat it the same way I've been treating everything bad that's already come from Lucas. I also agree that this could be the opportunity to get someone new in charge of developing the storyline with more respect for the EU, and it's not as if things can get any worse on that front, since the EU is already being altered with Lucasfilm in charge. On the other hand, somehow it just seems wrong for Star Wars to be a Disney production.

OoC: Althior's HP is 14 and yours is 15. If Special Damage is rolled, both of you will survive, and neither of you will survive rolling Damage. -

"Don't back down! Master Emorith, heal yourself. Master Unth'or, I don't know if you want to attack or take a Potion." I attack the Aquaphant from the Back Row with my Briar Bow unless someone before me rolls Special Damage, in which case I do nothing. "With no Free Hits being dealt, Master Rone will attack first to guarantee that he will get in a Lucky attack. Master Unth'or will go before me since he deals more Damage, and I don't want him to have to avoid attacking should I roll Special Damage." Order of Actions: Dyric Rone Xander Unth'or Bartholomew Docken Althior Emorith -

"I do, but to Poison the Tangleweed would require taking the risk of it using its Special, and it's not harming any of us anyways, so there's little reason to try to Poison it now. We can't wait out the Aquaphant's Poisoning; its Level is too high." -

"Master Emorith, you should probably heal Master Unth'or. Master Unth'or, do you want to attack again or use a consumable? Revive Master Rone, take a Potion, take a Nostrum... Master Rone is Lucky, so I would suggest you revive him. Then he can target the Aquaphant while Master Emorith heals you, and I can take a Remedy and absorb the Tangleweed's Free Hit." -
This is the planet Endor, as opposed to the Endor moon. The body shown in Jedi orbited by the Death Star II is the forest moon. I assume that TLG wanted to do the B-wing mini, and packaged it with the planet Endor because the forest moon and the second DS had already been released in the planet series.
