  1. We did... seventeen, I think? (Including the Obsidian Dragon, and K-nut, posades, and myself already had 20+ GP from a previous run - a party that took the same path we did right now would gain 1+2+3+4+5+6+7+8+9+10+11+12+13+14+15+16+17=153 GP.)I'd say around a couple years of nothing but clearing the Fields and going back to do it again before you get to 500 GP. (Considering that by the time you've fought enough battles to gain a lot of GP per battle, the only battles left are the harder ones that take longer.)
  2. The amount of GP you get goes up each battle. However, Sandy has already said that it's not possible to get 500 GP in one run through the Fields. (And that was before the amount of potential GP was reduced by the Obsidian Dragon's death.) If it doesn't work out, John Paul, I can fight Danny for you after you're done.
  3. Bah, roleplaying! About the issue of Baba's power, I'm interested to see if Baba turns out to be immortal as in unable to die of old age, like the elves in Lord of the Rings, and is a very high-Level sorcerer-type (like Xykon or even "unlimited powah!" Emperor Palpatine), or if she's actually the omnipotent unstoppable force of this dimension/realm/plane/whatever. (In which case defeating her would probably have to involve a quest where heroes convince a higher power of another dimension/realm/plane/whatever to intervene, like Valar.)
  4. Yeah, Docken seems to have a tendency to go on the first quest, discover the Big Bad, and then not be around for the further quests which the Big Bad appears in full strength in.
  5. Are you only using the plain text editor, or are you switching back and forth or switching back to the RTE before posting? I don't get how all the extra tags can show up if you're just using the plain text editor.

MegaBloks, now no one else can try to get it, because nobody can outbid Guts. *I refer of course to the perception that Guts is ridiculously rich because of the time in Guffington 1 when he made a couple thousand Gold in one or two Rounds, not to any actual stats showing that Guts is at this time the richest hero. I have no idea if he is or not. I think Foog might have more. He did it before, when he stabbed Barty and made his angel go away, so he could only get Sentinels. It's roleplaying.
  7. Too late; she stopped singing, and everyone appears to still be affected. (Women and U'Kin included, so it's not just a Siren.)
  8. I usually try to keep my NPCs assembled, but then I'll start figbarfs for quest concepts and they all get taken apart so I can build new combos, and then I have to rebuild them if I want to use them.
  9. That would make sense, too, assuming that none of us told him that only Thormanil and Docken were also affected. He was in the barrel while we prepared to sail through the strait and probably wouldn't have known that only Thormanil and Docken were stuffing things in their ears.

Bluto is obviously familiar with Barbariccia, Bluto knows that there's something that he doesn't want to hear in her song, Bluto's protected himself with the wax in his ears, and the only hero that Bluto approaches with extra wax to protect themselves with is Thothwick, the only one of the three heroes present to have gone on Quest 14...

  13. Stun only lasts for one enemy action, (Damage, Special Damage, Free Hit - they all cause the Stun to end) but a Stunned enemy breaking out of a Stun doesn't do anything else. So in that case, the Stun would end and the Counterstrike wouldn't Damage the hero.

  15. Only Quest 4 and Quest 43 advertised Shadeaux reputation in the Hall, I think.

Just so everyone remembers, I'll say it again: My next quest will offer a chance at Shadeaux reputation if the heroes can find it, and there will be no opportunity for Lion Knight reputation/access to the Skirmisher. (Although I'm still interested in giving enough players access to it that we can get four or five Skirmishers together to steamroll stuff.) If you want to get the most out of Dragoon and wait for Vipera to be your dragon that badly, you could always take a break and only go on quests with Shadeaux reputation.

I might still end up using the Gold to upgrade my weapon, but I had an opportunity to get more Gold for the Grating Stone than it was worth to me.

  20. I've always thought it would be fitting if Draggy, def, and Shadows came back to play, caught up in Level, and Cynthia, D'Eficcio, Galen, Nyx, Rufindel, and Shadina became the next six Veterans.
