  1. Shaking my head to clear it and prevent myself from falling asleep, I wait to see what happens as Hybros prods the statue.
  2. "Well, there was the case of Lady Wren and her Arena; both that and the encounter at Lord Guffington's manor were indeed fairly bad. At least this time we didn't get our stuff taken away from us..."
  3. "Well then. I suppose there is some hope to be found in the fact that the golems are duplicates of some sort." I pick up the books, reading their covers and gently leafing through their pages to see if any papers had been left in them.
  4. "The Mayor's Office sounds good to me as well."
  5. I eat the Healthy Apples, while placing the Big Apples with the rest of my Inventory. I look behind the pictures, while taking a closer look at the pictures themselves.
  6. Returning upstairs, I investigate the chest of apples.
  7. OoC: It's JimB's fault; he took all the good rolls. "Right..." I read the Note and the Incomplete Formula that I found earlier.
  8. I attack Small Golem A from the Back Row with my Unlucky Horseshoe.
  9. "I'll go ahead and try to re-Blind this one..." I attack the Masculine Golem from the Back Row with my Darksteel Crossbow.
  10. I throw my Unlucky Horseshoe at the Feminine Golem from the Back Row.
  11. I don't know, I like this reference better:
  12. OoC: Do I have to retrieve the horseshoe now, or did I never throw it last Round?
  13. I think all of the effect bombs, except for the Poisoning one, are probably under-priced. Thirty Gold is a small price to pay (for a Blinding bomb and a Sealing bomb) to render just about every enemy harmless. (And then QMs will start making more enemies immune to effects, which both makes the effects pointless and unfairly nerfs scroll users, neither of which we want.) They're the same price as a Tonic, so it's comparable purely in Gold cost to a couple attempts at dealing the effect with a scroll, but these bombs are much more readily available, useable by everyone, and guaranteed to succeed. But we should probably give them a month or two to see how they work out in practice before considering a nerf.
  14. I agree that one of the drops, the Cloak, has a really specific set of suitabilities. I had that one initially having a much more general list of suitable classes (I think it was all Mages and some of the Clerics, plus a few Expert Classes), but Sandy wanted it to be more specific for flavor's sake.
  15. Yeah, I was worried that the new battle system would lead to frustration if I made the enemies too OP, and I was shooting for battles that wouldn't last longer than five to ten Rounds, so I did nerf them while I was developing them. Clearly, I was too cautious in that regard. Thanks; you may be the first person to say that! For all of my special drops (the non-boss/commander drops are intended to be basic equipment that you'd sell back to Anwyl or Fabian or a low-Level player), I purposely try for a somewhat grandiose description, sort of inspired by the naming of equipment in Realm of the Mad God (Which I haven't played in a couple years, after Kabam tried to make more money and broke the game, but I liked the way the loot was styled.).
  16. Chance to Assassinate all three, and it would function like a Triple Strike. (But it only works on non-AoE rolls, so you don't get three chances to Assassinate each enemy on a roll of Grim Reaper.)
  17. I don't think Boomingham has one anymore; I bought his. Unless he got another one, in which case Zeph should've PMed me ASAP so I can give him a pile of Gold.
  18. "He's all yours, Master Hybros." I throw my Unlucky Horseshoe at the Feminine Golem from the Back Row.
  19. Welcome to EB. First of all, it's not necessary for you to 'bump' your own topic not even half an hour after originally posting it. But, the more pressing issue here is that it sounds as though you're planning to take advantage of TLG's parts replacement service in order to get free bricks. I'm sure you can understand why we wouldn't want members promoting or advertising the abuse of LEGO and their excellent customer service in this dishonest manner. If I am mistaken and you do in fact have an honest method of acquiring free individual bricks from TLG, then I apologize; feel free to PM me (once you make ten posts and have access to the PM system), and we'll discuss reopening this topic. Otherwise, topic locked.
  20. Absolutely!
  21. The Iris Shield is a separate effect that just reflects the Damage taken; it's not the same as a Counterstrike.
  22. "I'll get the Masculine Golem. Even if he nullifies my Weapon Power, well, it's not as if I deal that much Damage anyways. And it would be nice if he were Blinded so that it were safer for Master Hybros to attack him, considering that Master Hybros doesn't use a weapon." I attack the Masculine Golem from the Back Row with my Darksteel Crossbow.
