LDraw or LDD?
legolijntje replied to jamzee's topic in Digital LEGO: Tools, Techniques, and Projects
I use SR3d builder. It's a good mix between ldd and mlcad. There are often updates, so the most bugs are solved quickly. I has a good "technic simulator", so you can turn gears and othere elements to see how it works. It has automatic brick placing (or how do you call it) like in ldd. And of course it's also easier to render than a ldd file. And it has many more functions. I really like sr3d builder -

I just saw you can see when a folder or file is created and when it was last modified. Is this new, or are my eyes just bad?

In the most office 2010 programs (e.g. Word, Powerpoint) you can choose to save as an OPD (open office document). I just checked it, and it is'nt possible for Acces 2010. -

Great I was looking forward to this; I saw the WIP on your facebook. I really like this, because: -I like Lego -I like Portal (2) And of course it's a good model -
I made another model: 1972 - Go-Kart - Technic Download it HERE. There are no errors, but the steering parts aren't alligned very well. (the picture isn't very clear, because LDview don't want to load the hoses )

I have now made a lego technic engine like this: That's a lot of work But I finished it and it looks almost like the real one. If someone want it just say here, then I'll upload it to Brickshlef.

Welcome to the LDD forum Stu83. Good model, but it would better to make whole sets. That's easier and better (also for indexing). But anyway it's a good start But I index it of course

Technic Separator?
legolijntje replied to Arigomi's topic in LEGO Technic, Mindstorms, Model Team and Scale Modeling
I really like this idea. Especially the holes for selecting 1/2 beam, 1 beam, 1 1/2 beam.... Did you send this to lego? You never know...
