Why aren't pov-ray images allowed? I mean, if the model is still a lxf file, and it has a nice image, why would you prohibit that? I don't see the point

The only program to make lxf files is ldd, so he used ldd. But the picture looks different, because the model is rendered using LDD2PovRay

The index is now updated. It has some changes now; there is a top contributors list there are now subthemes, so if a model has theme "Space" and subtheme "Space Police 3" you can find it at "Space - Space Police 3" In the future, I'm going to be a little bit more strict. In the past I was like "if it has a file, it is in the index", but now, I only put complete (except errors of course) sets and correct posts in the index. So, in the next few days, I'm going to check all previous post, because I know there are a few incomplete sets, mods, or messy posts. You don't need to have a super clean standard post, but at least a correct title and set number and an image would be appreciated. You'll find that soon in the index too; which models and posts are incorrect. I also want to thank Superkalle for his help ================================================================================== New sets since last update: 105

[Software] LDD2PovRay
legolijntje replied to Superkalle's topic in Digital LEGO: Tools, Techniques, and Projects
I have a question; is it possible to make the same program, but for LDraw? I know one can import LDraw in ldd, but many parts aren't available in ldd... -

TRAIN TECH Help, General Questions & Talk to the Staff
legolijntje replied to WesternOutlaw's topic in LEGO Train Tech
Hi, I''m not really into Lego trains, but I came across this document on the Lego site. And now, I'm curious; what's the Bricklink number of this one? I already searched, but searching a part on Bricklink whan you only saw a picture is very dificult- 578 replies

[Software] LDD Manager
legolijntje replied to Superkalle's topic in Digital LEGO: Tools, Techniques, and Projects
I had that problem too. The problem is that Superkalle's version of office is a 32 bit one, and Access 64 bit can't open files from a 32 bit version. It's very annoying and as far as I know Access is the only MS office software that can't open both 32 and 64 bit. My solution; just reinstall office, but now a 32 bit version. The only advantages of a 64 bit version of office is, that it's slightly (almost invisible) faster and it can handle excel files that are larger than 2gb (and seriously; an excel file bigger than 2 gb has a lot of text ). -

Oh, now I understand how it works; that's why there is some sort of "double stud" -
Ideas for new part designs
legolijntje replied to Nachapon Bricks's topic in Digital LEGO: Tools, Techniques, and Projects
Nice idea (and very creative ), but the only drawback is that if you turn the brick around, the "pins" will fall out. -

It is imposible to fit a normal plate direct behind the log bricks, because there will be studs hitting the middle between 2 log bricks, if you know what I mean -
Google Chrome - Build with LEGO
legolijntje replied to Superkalle's topic in Digital LEGO: Tools, Techniques, and Projects
There is an undo button. Well, button... Anyway, you have to press [CTRL]+[Z] on your keyboard to undo, but there isn't a redo. -
Ideas for new part designs
legolijntje replied to Nachapon Bricks's topic in Digital LEGO: Tools, Techniques, and Projects
Nice part I never thought of such a part, it looks very useful. But because of the sideways placed 1x1 tiles, it is imposible to place e.g. a brick next to it. (and what about the edges? ) -
If you look on this (Dutch) page, and scroll a bit down, you can read some mania magazines. There are 11 complete magazines and 1 incomplete.

If you mean the latest one with the "rotate" option (90-180 degrees turning), I think it's not bad that you need 2 pieces of the. Now, you can use them as detail too, expecially the one with the round edge.
