    "Someone should target Tarban so he doesn't get a free hit, everyone else should go for Unarmed Pongcanis," Kiray suggested. "U'Voros, I need you to attack the Unarmed Pongcanis Warrior from the front." Kiray targets the Unarmed Pongcanis Warrior from the front.

    Kiray listened to Diana's words, making a mental note of the only other female in the party.

    "U'Voros, nevermind, we need you to attack Tarban from the front row." Kiray said.

    "I'm real sorry about this, everyone," Kiray said. "I partially expected it to end up like this but I wanted to be sure he confessed to wanting to be an emperor first." Kiray looked at U'Voros and suggested, "U'Voros, target Tarban from the back row with your halberd." Kiray targets Tarban from the front row with her sword of the kin.

    "Ignore that!" Kiray shouted to U'Voros. Kiray takes her turn to explain to U'Voros what is going on. "Tarban tried to get me to assassinate an emperor for him so he can try to take the throne. I was trying to convince him I would but betray him later. He wants the throne to himself, but I will not let that happen. Now, U'Voros, attack from the front row." Kiray explains from the back row. Battle Order: Kiray explains to U'Voros from back row. U'Voros targets Tarban from Front row.

    ".... Damnit..." Kiray said. Well, at least she expected this to happen, better than having to deal with actually agreeing to Tarban's request and then figuring out how to trick him. "U'Voros, I suggest you attack from the front row." Kiray attacks from the front row. "You guys better hurry up!" she shouted to her questmates. Order of Attack: U'Voros, front row attack Kiray Nastayo (KingoftheZempk) front row attack.

    I have to say it's real good to be in a quest again.

    "If your people don't grow fast enough you will be crushed, and you know it. That's why you lost the rebellion. I'll see what I can do for you," Kiray whispered back to Tarban. She then raised her voice just slightly, just loud enough U'voros could hear if he was listening, "Just know, if you are asking me to kill the emperor for you, you better pay me well and give me some time to plan. We do have an Assassin with us." Kiray shoots her eyes to U'Voros, as if she was saying "This man is dangerous, we have to lead him on for now and arrest him."

    "Maybe if you realized that starting a rebellion when you did not have the means to do so is quite a big mistake," Kiray whispered to Tarban. "Now with everything you have told me, what makes you think I won't inform on the others, that you are considering treason, and considering hiring a Hero on an official mission to carry out your plot." Kiray then leaned up close to Tarban's ear and whispered even softer, "And what do I--and my companions--get out of carrying out this mission for you? Obviously doing something like this would hurt my job opportunities in Dastan, and I could lose my life. All of my companions could. We need to complete OUR mission first, and successfully, especially if there's even a chance I'm to get an audience with an emperor."

    Kiray said to Nemor, "I'll be right with you, just wait there." Then she addressed Tarban, her voice just barely a whisper, "I understand what you were saying back there, that little slip up. Like I said, Dastan is foreign to me, but from what I can tell you did something and weren't compensated enough, or you feel you have the rights to something you may not have. I'm going to assume it's of the former, as if you might have held a higher seat of power in the government or what have you. Now, I am not in the mood to play games, but if I have to I will. You seem like an honorable man who cares for his people, even if--no offense--your ego is slightly inflated. I am willing to help you. I understand there may not be a lot I can do, but I may be able to broker some sort of deal between you and others."

    "I'm sorry, U'Voros, didn't mean to offend you." Kiray smiled apologetically to the soldier. She then directed her gaze on the other two, "Forgive my ignorance, I am not an expert on Dastan's customs. There's also a reason why our arrival was not announced, because I assume it would have led to bigger problems than we have now." The knight then looked directly at Tarban and said, "Tarban, a word in private? Don't worry, I'm not to hurt you, I just want to talk."

    Kiray watched Mr. Tarban closely, listening to the words. Were they threats, she thought. Something from him set alarm bells off in her head. "Mr. Tarban, you are not to raise your voice to Mallelio, a man who seemingly is of a higher rank than you," her voice became icy, "do you understand me? All three of you empty your pockets now and put any weapons you may have on the ground and push them away from you. Honestly, I'm worried one of you may be sent here as a distraction or is trying to cause a bigger problem than the one you have now. For now, the wall is of no concern to you until I am sure you are no threat to Mallelio or the Emperor or even your precious wall."

    "Thank you, but I suggest we move on. We have serious matters to deal with now,"

    "I'm sure we can catch their attentions in some way or another, hopefully with as little damage as possible. As long as the dragons are at ease I should be able to talk to the riders." Kiray flashed a smile at Vipera.

    "I agree as well. The Rito settlement seems like the best idea for now."

    Kiray studied the map carefully before looking up at the cleric. "I'm fine with that if the others are. Not like we have much of a choice."

    "Yes, a place to quickly rest would be much appreciated. Can you tell us who you two are?"

    Kiray looked towards the rapidly approaching ground, eagerly waiting to put her feet on a steady surface again. She walked up to the Automaton and hugged it. "THANK YOU FOR FOL-LOWWING ME INTO BA-TTLE," she said to Stealth Shadow.

    "Seems that this technology isn't as safe as we thought," Kiray added. "That, or somebody is trying to stop us from finishing our quest, and I doubt it's anyone of us heroes. Is it possible for the automaton to be controlled from a distance? Who besides us have come into contact with it?"

    "Thanks," Kiray replied. "I just thing it's best right now for me to use the armor, but if we come across a much more difficult opponent, I'll gladly give it to one our fellow heroes. Or if there was better armor, I'd gladly take that if that was the only thing I would take as loot and give the Flameproof armor to somebody else along with my share of gold and what have you."

    "I can easily trade it to a hero if we come across something better. As of right now, I'm our tank, and I'm going to be up on the front row taking full damage when we fight enemies."

    "If I may," Kiray chimed in, "am I able to have the Flameproof Armor? I'll take nothing else if I have to."

    "Oops," Kiray said. Kiray targets the Lesser Roc with her sword from the front row. Stealth Shadow targets the Lesser Roc from the back row.

    "Damnit," Kiray muttered. "AU-TO-MATON, AT-TACK PHOENIX!" Kiray targets the Phoenix from the front row with her sword. Stealth Shadow targets Phoenix from the back row.
