Kiray looks around, surprised she is the first one here, although not surprised at the bickering of the siblings. Thank the spirits she was an only child. She extends a hand to Lyrion. "Call me Kiray. Can you tell me about this place?" She pulls out her shovel and digs. "I hope you don't mind," she states without even waiting for an answer. Edit: Stats look good, although ChromeKnight/Nerwen may take 150 from my gold in the Hall, I already made the offer, so if accepted my gold will go to 182.

Kiray returns to the market rather quickly after her last trip. She goes to Gnomeo and buys a shovel for 10 gold. She now has 332 gold. She exits.

Kiray sees her name on the list. She removes her names from Quests 137 and 135. "Go ahead, Monk, though I need to leave quickly." After his response (if there is one), Kiray goes to Nerwen. "I can give you half of what I owe you now for the sword. I need to spend some in the market for the next quest I am on but when I retrun I should be able to pay you back the rest." She gives Nerwen 150 gold.

Kiray is definitely going to have some fun now.

And it's not permanent, this one? Only works for one battle?

I have a sharp tip in my inventory that says (-2 bleeding). I'm assuming that it can be attached to a sword and cause Bleeding by 2 to a target, correct? How is it added to a weapon? Is it just like imbuing a gem? Or am I way off on what this thing is? Edit: er, well techinically is says (-2 bleeding) so is that causing bleeding to the target or am I bleeding?

"What would they have done without us?" Kiray manages to chuckle. She stares at the gold. "I don't know... hmm... alright. I'll pay you back. This will be useful. How do you get a discount... actually, on second thought, I'm not sure if I want to know." Kiray accepts the 100 gold.

Kiray comes back into the hall after returning from her most recent quest, the market, and the training room. The Hall was surprisingly busy now. She liked that. It felt good to have more Heroes here. She went up to the questboard, and signed her name for Quest 135, Quest 136, and Quest 137. She then stepped back to the table Monk was at. "Good work out there."

Kiray makes her way into the training room after all others had left. She hoped the Copper Fox was still there. Why wouldn't he? He was the Veteran responsible for this afterall. She looks around the large room. She finally had made it into the training room after all her hard work on quests she had gone on. "Welcome, Miss Knight," Copper Fox states as he comes in from a side room. "No need to say, I know what you're here for." "Is it bad I'm torn on which way to go?" the knight asks him. "Not necessarily. We all have difficult choices to make in life. This choice will help lead you to success, no matter which way you go. Success may turn out differently depending on what you do, and outcomes may not be what you expect, but go forward." He ushers her into a small room. "Think on it. I will check on you in an hour." Kiray sat down on the floor. She removed her armor and everything she had on her. Now she only had her street clothes, the ones she wore when she first came to Eubric many seasons ago. She swallowed hard and closed her eyes tight. What seemed to have been hours went by, yet the Copper Fox did not come. Kiray did not stand, for she feared to leave and mess up. So she waited more. Finally she heard a noise. A voice specifically. She could not tell who it was. It was muffled and faint. Distant. Was it the Copper Fox finally? An eager Hero waiting to go in this room after her? She strained to hear; she had to hear what the voice was saying. "You've come far, daughter," the voice said, most of the words finally able to be understood now. Kiray opened her eyes. She looked around the darkness. There was no source of the voice, and it seemed to echo from everywhere. "You're not my mother." "True, but I'm the voice of her spirit. The hand that has guided you." "I have not heard your voice since you died, mother, if you are her." "I have not needed to talk to you for me to have a hand in your life. I raised you, away from your father, close to good friends to look after you and love you." Kiray felt a tear roll down her cheek. "I miss you." "We'll see each other again. But first you must serve." "Ennoc? Another god?" "Try serving your family first. Find the strength to do what you need to do to succeed." Kiray swallowed hard again before nodding. "Goodbye, mother." The spirit did not say anything, yet Kiray felt as if someone left a loving kiss on her cheek. She stood up and reequipped herself and stepped out of the room. "Ah, Kiray, I was just about to fetch you." "Was I seriously in there an hour?" The veteran nodded. "Teach me how to be a black knight," Kiray continued. "There are things that need to be done." So the Copper Fox began Kiray's training regimen. She worked and trained until she had a grasp on the new class. "Good. I believe you're ready." "I am?" "I know what I'm talking about, Kiray. You are ready. I only advise, be careful. A Black Knight is a powerful calling. If you wish to truly serve Heroica, you must keep darker desires in check. A black knight may not be the most noble profession in the eyes of some, so be careful to not give them cause to despise you." Kiray nodded and thanked the Veteran before going to the hall. Kiray strides into the hall after a successful quest and new loot in her pocket. She first walks up to Anwyl and sells Inert Blade (Greatsword, WP 5) for 25 gold. She now has 242 gold. She exits back to the hall.

Kiray waves good bye to Yu Shu and then directs her attention to Samuel. "It was a pleasure meeting you," she tells him as she sticks her hand out. "It was good to fight with one such as you." She pockets her diamond before realizing she still had Nerwen's Katana. She hands it back. "Sorry, I thought I had given this to you already."

Kiray also gives to Mink the Phoenix Essence, Blind Bomb, Seal Bomb, 3 Grand Potions, 3 Remedies, Tonic.

"Oh, that's a little too much. If you happen to keep it with you, next time I have more gold in the Hall I'll gladly take it off your hands." That's what I get for questing as I made lunch.

Kiray returns the Mythril Shield, Crescent Shield, Heavy Flail, soul link chain, and Anointed Gladius to Monk. "What were you looking for for the sword, Nerwen? I think I'll keep all this, might be useful later." I just realized I've been missing my Oricish Barbed Shield (SP: 11) for a while. Oops.

"He helped us, let him live," Kiray says as diplomatically as should could in her condition. "He helped Yu Shu, and Monk, and me. Without him we would have fallen. Besides, he could have fought us when we fought Simon and other Order Imperials. There's a lot bigger fish to catch than Abel. Let us give him safe passage at least. Once we get to Eubric he can go his own way, be it back to the Order or to your side, Yu Shu, if your comrades accept him. "Bella also was a psychopath. Simon was a confused, tragic boy caught up in a war he was not ready for. Abel is moral and certainly much more level-headed than the others."

Kiray slowly pushes herself up from the ground, swaying. She uses the katana to maintain her balance. The knight looks at the dead form of the boy, trying to feel something for the tragic kid, but nothing happens.

Kiray pulled up her attack. "Get him up, we'll deal with him after this, then, shouldn't we?" She looks to Nerwen. "Keep leading, we've got a job to do."

Is killing both not an option, Kiray wonders in her mind. Why am I the one to do this? Why must I play middleman and the one to fix this mess that these sides have gotten themselves into? she continues in her imagination. "Someone remove this darkness, I can't see," Kiray calls out, fear slowly beginning to creep in. She could feel her breathing quicken. Sweat stained her forehead and dripped in her eyes. Make it stop, she wished. She hoped she could command. Kiray moves to the back row, as if it would do any good. She could feel herself shaking. She stepped forward again. She swallowed hard. "Kill them all," Kiray stated in an emotionless voice, as she attacked Blessed Angel B from the front.
