    Kiray tries to shout at Miderun before she dives over the side, but is not quick enough. "All of you, keep this up!" Kiray glances down at the squirming tentacle she cut off from her foe before twirling the sword around for another go. She repeats.     Kiray leaps out from behind the crate she hid behind. Her katana twirls in her hand as she attacks Octavious from the front. She hoped she would be able to do some damage this time.

    Kiray will patiently sit in the hall waiting for the notice to put up if she has to. Either way, whether she's on it or not, I can't wait to read it.

    Thanks, Zeph! I agree, Kiray's groundwork is there, now it's all about bringing it to the forefront. I think the cracks started in 127 when she had her breakdown, continued a little bit in the training room/black knight decision, and I'm expecting it to happen in her current quest and following. Hope to have her go on one of your quests again someday!

    I guess it's the lighting because Kiray's sword is gold as is the chest armor and the visor.

    Kiray checks to make sure her armor is secure before choosing her target. She steps up, scanning each enemy, before choosing. She attacks Octupial Octavious from the front. "Someone distract that giant squid."

    I do agree, Asphalt and Kintobor, she is a little bright a cheery for a black knight. Although that comes into me not knowing exactly where I want to take her and just exploring, especially with the armor and equipment she carries now. Her face may change to something darker in a few quests. And Kint, that's actually black and gold, not black and silver.

    Since I'm back home for a few days, and I've been wanting to remake Kiray as her Black Knight spec with new armor and can't wait to share, here is Kiray now. What do you guys think? Any suggestions?

    Kiray struggles to hear her party leader, but makes out enough to understand. She makes her away across the rocking ship, using her katana to keep her steady. Her long hair whipped her face and torso, but the black knight ignored it as best she could. Once she was close to Hung, Kiray shouted, "You need to move! Come with me, or you won't make it!" as intimidatingly as she could and continued with, "We need everyone to be safe or I swear upon whatever gods there are I will hit you myself if I have to. There's too much on the line for us to fail."

    Kiray immediately jumps up. "Should we try to bring her about? Try to get the sails to use the winds to our favor? Are there chains we should grab?"

    Replying (finally) to Polly, Kiray says, "I ended up taking up fighting after my mother was killed. A close family taught me how to use a sword after she died. After that, I went to Eubric and joined Heroica. I've been lucky enough to do some good work with other Heroes and met some fine people. But I agree, rest could be a good thing." OoC: still on mobile, getting back home tonight and then posting will be regular again.

    Kiray moves over to the were-racoon. "How did you come into the Prospector's service?"

    Kiray listens intently to the prospector's tale. At tips point, she has no idea which parts are true and which fiction. All she does is keep alert. OoC: I'm traveling for a few days so my posts/quality may be lacking until Monday. I'll still be checking in though and posting, just not as easily as I'm on mobile.

    Adding on to this, thank you, Zepher, for a great quest. It was a lot of fun. Not sure if there's anything else I can add in regards to comments. The loot was amazing and I loved the interactions with the NPCs. They were all really well thought out and fun to talk to. Simon. Wow, poor Simon. Bella, not so much. My one gripe really is the battles. A but too long but they were very interesting. Good job overall though!

    "I agree with Mhinak" Kiray adds. "There's a lot more out there than Druids and assassins. A lot bigger and scarier, too. Dragons, sea beasts. Although, I've found the true monsters are the people like us."

    Anticipating the sea, Kiray equips her Fishy Scale Mail instead of the Never Blessed Armor.

    Kiray stares at the pile of wood, noticing the lie given to the Prospector. She keeps her mouth shut.

    Kiray's brow furrows at the unfamiliar words spoken by Bobby. "Bobby, how did you and Miderun become so close? Or... tight... as you put it."

    If the wood will not negatively affect Kiray's Smith's Katana (WP 10), she uses it to chop wood. If it will negatively impact the blade, she picks up an axe to chop wood.

    "Same to you. Although I'm not that esteemed. There are far more renowned heroes in the Hall." "Tell me, in your words, the point of clearing the forest. And why are you the one to have become supervisor?" Kiray gazes to the stockpile. "How much more wood do you need?"

    ChromeKnight has also sold the smith's katana Kiray is using to me for 300, and 150 upfront so Kiray's gold is now 182. Everything else is good now on my end!
