  1. DC Best: Nightwing, Damian Wayne, Babs, Heath Ledger Joker. Worst: Drag-racing Riddler (should've had a sharp-looking green suit on). Marvel Best: Storm, Wolverine, Doc Ock. Worst: Cyclops, oh wait the Goblin was like Lego took a turd on all things comics.
  2. There we go. I do indeed. Not enough to repeat myself though, that's just my computer being an megablocks clown.
  3. I'm hoping to see big fig Killer Croc, Bats and Red Hood/Red Robin in the Water Chase set with a similar feel to some of the swamp police City sets. A hovercraft Batboat, a crocodile, some form of dock, etc. In the Jokerland set, I'm hoping for about 7 to 8 figs for its price. Bats, Red Hood/Red Robin, Joker, Harley (new 52), a Joker goon, Mad Hatter, Firefly, Deadshot.
  4. A member of the Legion of Superheroes, who are pretty obscure, seems more appropriate for a SDCC exclusive I think then say some options we've heard like Booster Gold, Black Canary and Zoom.
  5. DC - I'd have said Riddler Chase if we hadn't got the Flash in his own set this year. And while I was glad to see a Nightwing, Man-Bat's wings were a bit dissappointing. So I'm going with Joker's Steamroller for giving us BABS and DAMIEN WAYNE in minifg form, plus a cool Joker vareint and henchmen. The steamroller was a fun build to. Pity about the Batwing but... Marvel - As a child of the 90's the Avengers weren't on my radar, and I think I collect Lego that I wish was around when I was young. The only Spidey set I liked was the one with the comic book Doc Oc. But i was a really, really big X-Men fan as a kid thanks to the animated series, so a set with the X-Jet and Sentinel wins hands down. More X-Men please Lego to make this vote harder in future!!!
  6. He's very much a New 52 variant.
  7. Flash has recognisable villains, like Reverse Flash, Grodd and the Rogues... Arrow has Merlyn and... maybe Vertigo... I like Jeff Lemire's Komodo in the New 52, but there isn't much. So ofcourse he needs to borrow Teen Titans and C-Grade Bats villains. I'd love to see Arrow use Riddler to be honest as he appeared in Kevin Smith and Judd Winick's run and we haven't seen him live action since 95.
  8. The Animated Series Batmobile.
  9. I got my GA custom for $35 AUD and the only way you could tell is the printing is slightly raised on the minifig.
  10. Seriously mate, be tougher. kevkipo is trolling and should cop a ban.
  11. Really? The first DC leaks came in October, the first Marvel in late December.
  12. Not if the Mod is willing to be tough and boot you from the forum indefinitely for being a troll. You'd have to go between 2 threads would be your major issue? I didn't realise the UK still had dial-up Internet?
  13. No, I'd split it even if there had been Winter Soldier or Dark World sets. I just don't want to hear the bickering between Marvel only fans, "When do we get an exclusive." or DC only fans, "We got less sets." If you go over to the other publisher's thread to be a troll, well the Mod should boot you from the forum. However you raise a good point. Hypothetically, I, as a greater DC than Marvel fan, could check the Marvel thread after the toy fairs to see what the finalised X-Men and GotG sets look like. Now if I'm into it, I keep going back to that thread to see reviews and discussion. Or if I'm not into it, than I steer clear of the Marvel thread until 2015 and go back to the DC thread to complain about the lack of an Alan Scott or a SImon Baz Green Lantern minifig. I'd rather have that choice. Wouldn't you?
  14. I like Marvel's movie universe, but they keep making sets based on kids shows which don't have as much adult appeal, IMO, as the 90's classic animated series (X-Men & Batman) did. That could be why we see more AFOL for DC than Marvel.
  15. Superhero forum with a DC and Marvel split discussion.
  16. But Marvel fans gets leaked pictures of the same Spidey minifig... See now even I'm doing it... Split the thread already.
  17. Wowee. These are awesome. Really love the Batboat/sub.
  18. With GCPD breakout, in my mind it's a huge Lego CIty Police station size, so one or two nameless cops can be added. A Javelin would be brilliant and probably much more likely than a Watchtower. Also I forgot Alfred to finish Batman off. So a Wayne Manor attack, but considering the New 52 love (think MM, Nightwing, Batgirl, Damian this wave) I see 2 or 3 Talons attacking it as opposed to Ra's and the League. A Court of Owl member or two watching on. Alfred, Bruce, Batman and Red Robin. Not that I'd be complaining on this, I love Snyder and Capullo's run. That leaves Hush, Firefly, Strange and Zsasz. But none have really been seen since New 52 started and that seems to be what DC is pushing now looking at Lego and Imaginext, not to mention the animated movies.
  19. Exactly Jim in comic form, with grey hair and a trench coat, not Garry Oldman form.
  20. Considering how often you need to remind people not to bicker about the two franchises, why don't you split the discussion for next year's sets into one for Marvel, one for DC. I for one get a bit bored having to wade through the "my franchise is better than your franchise" or "why didn't we get an exclusive minifig this year" comments.
  21. Batman: Lazarus Pit - Ra's & Talia al Ghul, Red Hood... Oh yeah and Batman. Batman: GCPD Breakout - I want to see Killer Croc (big fig) teamed with either Black Mask or Mad Hatter in the GCPD. Croc has always been more muscle for someone to control. Favouring Black Mask. Both have ability to mind control. With Gordon, Bullock, a Bat a Signal on top... & Batman, let's make him New 52 variant. Batman teamed with Green Arrow against Deathstroke and/or Deadshot. Maybe with some vehicles. A bike for GA and some variant of Batmobile not yet seen. GL (Hal) v Sinestro, throw in a Batman variant in that Lantern suit if they are so worried after the Ryan Reynolds movie flopped. Batman v Mad Hatter with Vicki Vale to be his Alice for Bats to save. A tea party table set piece. Batman v Clayface (big fig) bank robbery scenario. A part of Watchtower with Supes (New 52) and Cyborg up against Darkseid and Parademons. Later more parts to be added to it along with other members of the JL, variants e.g. maybe John Stewart instead of Hal. Other villains from outer space to fight there, Brainiac or a Zod more like the Lego game for instance. Flash, updated with some yellow boots, against Captains Cold & Boomerang. A bank to rob. Some ice for Cold. Then later him against Grodd (big fig) and later again Professor Zoom. Maybe he's saving Iris from one of those two.
  22. Fair call, but I maintain it was a missed opportunity on Gordon. So often in media you see Gordon, Batman and Dent together before he turns into Two Face.
  23. I saw a few have love for the Two-Face chase. Why? The build was great, but for such a large set it had 2 henchmen and a security guard/cop, and the purple/orange variant of Two-Face. Yuck. Give me a black/white or blue/brown suit any day. They also missed a golden chance for Jim Gordon in place of the guard and 2 henchmen is a bit of a waste of minifigs. Could've slotted in Croc or Clayface into one of those 2 slots.
  24. He's not a villain I grew up with and I started reading comics around Knightfall and watched the Timmverse A LOT growing up. The first time I played the Lego Batman game I was like who the heck is that? Why is he in the 15 selected villains ahead of Ra's? Hush? Black Mask? etc.
  25. Brilliant call. It was great to get more members of Bat-Family besides another Tim Drake this wave, not to mention Flash and MM, but diversity in villains would've been nice. Hopefully with Superheroes becoming evergreen we see more sets for both universes, leading to greater diversity. However why is Killer Moth so high in your most wanted Batman rogues?
