  1. So the BrickWiki article has a grain of truth to it, 2 factions and 5 sets?
  2. Of course they would fit, they can be used as mini-squids or something. GEEZ, use your imagination. Im not saying that they should be included in the sets, just that they fit well in the aquaraiders theme.
  3. Are you being sacrastic or did you actually hear this information somewhere?
  4. Just a message to my fellow Canadians: Lego S@H now has both SW battle packs available for purchase in Canada. *y* (they're 12 CAD each)
  5. The animals in the Aquaraider sets aren't real either |-/ They're based on real animals but they dont appear in the real world in those sizes
  6. Ive noticed this Bionicle Squid Ammo set a couple of day ago on Brickset. Is this a new lego piece, what kind of material is it made out of? (rubber, plastic) Whatever it is, I think it would make a great addition the the Aquaraiders theme.
  7. I cant judge sets that I dont have so Im just gonna pick what I have in my collection: ARC fighter and Clone Turbo Tank.
  8. I just found this article on brickwiki:2007 Castle - Brickwiki It gives details about the rumoured new 2007 castle line. I dont know if there is any truth to it, it looks like the page was last edited on December 15th (yesterday)
  9. Im lucky because my best friend is also into Lego (thanks to me). We were both big into Lego as kids and we're just recently rediscovered the hobby. Him and I sometimes go on 'Lego runs', visiting different stores that sell lego in our city in hopes of finding older discontinued sets that have poped up on clearance or sales on newer sets. My parents are OK with it, they know I've always loved Lego. My girlfriend is cool with it too, although she sometimes rolles her eyes when I talk about Lego too much.
  10. Speaking of Nintendo... How about a Super Mario Bros. liscence? Think of the possibilities! And it would appeal to kids and AFOLs alike
  11. Anybody know why these sets aren't on the LEGO website yet? I hope they're not exclusives or anything like that, cause they're the SW sets Ive been looking forward to the most.
  12. Why not? I dont really think all kids are interested in are guns, flashy lights and noise. Kids in the 80s and 90s had flashy tv shows and video games as well and yet lego turned out decents sets.
  13. I also got this ship on sale a few weeks ago for about $38.00 canadian. It was already discounted and I asked the cashier if he could give me another 30% of and he said 'sure'!. Its a really nice set with good parts and minifigs.
  14. A bard is like minstrel, a guy with a musical instrument who plays and sings songs.
  15. With the news/rumours of a new castle theme coming in the near future, tell us what you'd like to see included in this theme. It can be anything from types and colors of bricks to whole sets you'd like to see. For me, I'd like to see: 1) Several distinct factions each with its own heraldry or colours. Not just generic knight armies but also bandit factions and the like 2) The return of classic weapons (ei the classic swords) and armour (classic visors) but in the new speckeled iron paint. 3) More earth-based tones such as grey for stone and brown for wood. No jellybean colours especially for armour or buildings. 4) More horses included in the sets. 5) Printing on torsos under the armour (there is a another thread about this) 6) No more catapults!!!! But I would like to see more realistic siege engines such as a trebuchet (doesnt have to be a functioning one) 7) More civilians (ei, blacksmits, merchants, etc) 8) More details in the buildings like some of the harry potter sets had. Ex. tables and shelves with bottles, scrolls, maps, etc. ..... that all I can think of for now... I'll post more ideas as they come.
  16. True, it seem like every medium and large set is one or two minifigs short. Look at the large castle sets from the 80s and 90s. They came with 11 or 12 knight/soldiers. each. Same with a lot of the bigger city sets like firestations and hospitals, the older sets had a lot more minifigs.
  17. What themes would you like to see lLEGO make in the near future. Personally, Id like to see more Harry Potter sets in the future, unfortunately its seems LEGO is not making anymore. I kind of like the avatar sets, I have the Air Temple. I dont watch the show but after reading up about it I think there is potential for some neat sets. As for totally new themes, Id like to see Eragon LEGO but that might be a bit out of LEGO's age range. I think Redwall would also make a neat theme, its a series of childrens books with animals playing the roles of humans in a mediaval setting.
  18. Im not calling the information false, Im just saying I need some hard proof before I get excited about new space and castle sets. Like some pics of the new sets or whatnot. :-) That sound really cool. Cant wait! *skull*
  19. Ive read of a new space theme and a new castle theme coming in 2007 but these are all rumours no matter where the information came from. Im gonna have to see some hard proof before I get excited.
  20. It depends on what sets I want to get and which ones are available. I spend between 0 to 200 dollars a month.
  21. Star Wars - Droid And Clode Trooper battle packs (3 each), Landing Craft Exoforce - The two smaller mechs. Auaraiders - The smallest set and Angler Ambush City - Gas station, Tanker, Harbour.
  22. New Space Theme?? We already have starwars and exoforce! We need a return of historical themes like a good castle theme or pirate theme.... or a theme based on a whole new time period in history.
  23. Does anyone know when the Harry Potter Lego license runs out?
  24. Ive read on other sites (including brickset.com) that there will be three additional SW sets released in 2007 including the Federation MTT, Naboo fighter and Jedi Starfigher. Does anyone know anything about this, are they rereleasing classics or are they totally redisgned sets?
