Printing can be seen on the astronauts backs here, so perhaps they won't get jetpacks as such (the one sat on the chair in the base in the bottom left). As for the aliens, I get the impression that there are no moving parts to them. But I could be wrong.

Perhaps you could buy a few of the small sets, so you don't run out of room as fast. You could also do this for the other themes you intend on buying. You know, you don't have to get all the sets in a theme ;-) .

The figs on the Batman box have their legs facing the edge, rather than the front. Or has it been this way for a while and I've just missed it?

I suppose, but there are series quite often now. Anyway, I watched it yesterday. Funny as always. Hammond and May teasing Clarkson about Kristen Scott-Thomas was very good. "Jezza loves Kristen." :-D And the slurs of insults in the news section :-D :-D The tractors was pretty good too. The Stig nearly fell out. It was good to see a variety of different home-made vehicles from past challenges- the Amphi-cars, the convertable people carrier and the vans. And the Plane was finally put to good use.

I think one of these comes to our school! :-D Nah, its not that old, but there is a very old bus on the school service route. As for racing cars, this has to be a classic. There's a similar one as well, and I can't for the life of me find it. It's similar to this, but with a windscreen all the way across.

Never mind that. I saw a car propped up in a front garden on the way to Southport with two wheels and no wheel arches (won't get very far). Presumably the owner had decided to change the wheels. only to find that the arches were too small. :-| :-D Ravage *wub*

It costs a lot of money to buy Lego. Or to buy books, DVDs, music downloads, etc. What's the difference between that and modding a car? Everyone needs an outlet or hobby to spend money on. So yeah, I agree with 5150 Lego. But, like I said, some mods are over-the-top. In this case I would agree with Optimax. Can you tell I'm trying to be the voice of reason and diplomacy here? ;-) On a side note, I was looking at some VW Beetles (original) today, on the way to my grandmas. Someone had done them up and painted them in different styles- bumblebee stripes, dark pink and Herbie were on show. Interesting...

I completely agree. The way it can split into three is cool. It reminds me of something, but I can't quite think what.

Interestingly, the figs on the Bat-Tank box in this pic are the wrong way round. Also, I've just realised that the blue Batman looks like the Andy Kubert Batman in 'Batman and Son.' In this arc, Batman cowl is dark blue not black.

I see no problem with customised cars, if the customisation is done well. Sometimes yes, the mods make the driver look like a prat, and the car look ugly. But done properly, mods can be quite cool. What I meant about the 270mph car is that no-one will be able to drive it at those speeds on the road. I understand that opportunities will present themselves for the car to be driven that fast, but it won't be an evryday thing will it?
