  1. I think all those sets were promos, but I can't remember where from. I do, however, remember someone posting instructions for those ages ago. Would someone care to help please? :-)
  2. Yes, that's correct. I was just reminded of Shrapnel by the bug look. I kind of wish I hadn't bothered now... ;-)
  3. I doubt it's new as well. It's probably the longer of the two, looking even longer. That wasn't what I said before BTW.
  4. My second picture? It works for me. I didn't mean that it needed improving, I meant that being 'cute' perhaps isn't a word that a worker drone would want to be described as. I like it as is.
  5. I just watched the commercial again, pausing it at the right moment to get a good look. It actually looks like it might be a longer blaster. It also looks like a longer blaster in this pic: And here.
  6. Oh yeah, that too. I forgot about it.
  7. Slightly off-topic, but I went into TRU today, and there was a wonderful little Aqua Raiders display. Crab Crusher (but no crab), Tiger Shark Attack and Lobster Strike. I was surprised by how small the AR vehicle is in Lobster Strike. Kind of cute.
  8. What I mean is I'm only at GCSE level, and a lot of the text I can work out. Not all of it, so please don't ask me to. ;-)
  9. Anyone see the resemblance? Nice MOC. Like everyone else has said, it's cute. I get the impression that may not be a suitable quality of a worker drone. Oh well. *y*
  10. There're plenty of ideas here, some of them mine.
  11. That doesn't look like anything... There's also a Shocktrooper there. The battle pack isn't credited at the end either. The MTT looks amazing. I love the troop deloy mechanism at the front. Great how the door open as the rack pushes them. The question is though, are the doors opened by the rack pushing agains them (as in, do they have the be closed manually), or are they on the gear system too. Still, it's a great set, full of droids, and at least now we know what that other model is: a scout.
  12. I know, but I'd still like to see a... well, see if you can guess! ;-)
  13. It was a bit of an afterthought. I decided that it didn't look right without. Thanks. I hope to do more, and I'm working on a large truck-type thing (the 'beetle') at the moment. It's still a WIP, but I know what purpose it'll serve. I've finished the basic structure minus the cockpit/driver, but I still need to build the rest of the body.
  14. Ok then. Without further ado, I present MOC no. 1. Police Hoverbike On a future Earth, vast cities have started to replace whole areas of land. The continents still exist, but are joined by large bridges. The police help to maintain law and order in the cities. The basic patrol unit is this hoverbike. There is also a landing wheel that folds out of the front to allow the bike to stand flat (at the same angle as if in fight). Propulsion comes from two generators at the and two round where the wheel would be on a conventional bike. For more pics, check out the gallery. And MOC no. 2 Batman MOCBox After seeing the MOCBoxes from Big Daddy the other week, I felt compelled to make my own. So here we have it, the Batman MOCBox. Again, for more pics, see the gallery. Comments, questions and criticisms welcome. :-)
  15. What is wrong with the Fantasticar?! I quite like it.
  16. "He's got fingers in more pies than a leper on a cookery course." Gene Hunt, Life On Mars. That one really made me laugh.
  17. I think he meant if the instructions for 8666 aren't there. That's not what you've linked to. Incidentally, they are there.
  18. It didn't happen in the film, but K-3PO does have a hole. Presumably, it happened previous to the film.
  19. Add in some walkways and doors, and the trash compactor and it's a neat little (big) set. In fact: Inside the Death Star
  20. No need to laugh, I like the Fantasticar. You could also have chosen from the Sky-Cycles, the Pogo Plane or the numerous craft the FF use for travel inside the Microverse and the Negative Zone. And possibly the classice ICBM, U-Car and Fantasti-Copter... And if we're discussing vehicles, there's also Wonder Woman's Invisible Jet (a whole set of trans-clear pieces... *wub* ) and Blue Beetle's Bug. There's also the Supermobile, used by Superman when he was temporarily depowered! :-P FF On!
  21. Yeah, me too. I'm going to go and see Spiderman 3, POTC 3, Transformers ( *wub* ) and Simpsons that I know of.
  22. S'OK. If anything it served to reinforce the point. You never know, someone may have missed it the first time round. EDIT: If anyone's interested, Beast Wars 10th Anniversary are
  23. I thought it was, but I wasn't sure. SW4J: I've heard that one before. Here's another: A question on an exam paper is "What would life be like if the chair hadn't been invented?" All the bright candidates set off and wrote reams and reams of essays on how life would be different if we didn't have chairs. The only A went to a low ability student who, not understanding the question, answered "What's a chair?" :-D
  24. I like the rubbish truck. The orange is nice, but not too overpowering. I like the arm on the back for the bins. Neat idea. I might get this. The dumper truck doesn't really need the trailer IMO. I think it would look better without. Again, I'm surprised by the amount of French there I can translate.
