  1. Nick Fury isn't in this one, I don't believe. And if he is, I'm sure his role won't be big enough to warrant a minifig. If he didn't get a fig for Avengers, he's definitely not getting one for Age of Ultron.
  2. Deadshot's guns are weird. Do we even have a piece like that? Why not just give him the binocular pieces or something? The fact that his face shows through the mask bothers me a teeny bit, too, but as Deadshot is one of my favorite characters, I'm quite glad to see this much of his design remain in tact. I'm a little surprised it's not his New 52 design, though. That seems like it would've worked fine with their purposes and be just as recognizable. I suppose they just didn't like the look.
  3. It's a little odd that every set Flash has been in has featured a banana. Do they have a some kind of a quota to fill or something? lol
  4. I'm definitely getting every one of these sets, but I am pretty disappointed by the Invisible Jet. It's so tiny and dumb.
  5. The new Green Arrow has a new belt (I think?), a new head, and legs without boot printing (-__-) I'm sure there're more differences, but we don't exactly have a close-up of the guy to work with. I just noticed that Robin comes with different hair than he normally has! It's just the generic male black hair, though. Still, different, and a bit more accurate.
  6. I guess it's the hood or the quiver, not both. I think he still has a quiver on the side of his leg in the New 52, so he's not entirely devoid of arrows
  7. Oh man, Hawkman in the Javelin with his wings taking up three seats, all the other Leaguers are super annoyed and he's just like "...sorry, guys." the whole way. XD Sorry, but these situations just make me laugh
  8. That is going to be super convenient when it comes to displaying them.
  9. Awesome! The thing that really sticks out to me, though, is that Superman is still his classic outfit. Think that's still preliminary or that only the Brainiac set will have New 52 Supes? He does.
  10. They didn't say that Ace was a skin, but they implied he was a new character altogether for the DLC. I'm just wondering if there's not a third slot in the Penguin one for the Batman Returns Penguin.
  11. Just watched the video, and Polka-Dot Man looks like a lot of fun! A little disappointed that Beast Boy can't turn into a T-Rex, but all his transformations are great! Deadshot's looking awesome (although I don't quite understand the way they did the guns. It's just weird.) Deathstroke's wicked, but the color palette isn't very well-balanced. Music Meister is amazing, and I'll be sinceriously disappointed if he doesn't have the voice of Neil Patrick Harris. I had to watch the video without sound since I'm in class, so if he did or if Beast Boy was voiced by Greg Cipes it would be great if you could let me know. When the character skins would scroll through, I noticed Catwoman had 3: The New 52 costume, the '66 costume, and what looked a lot like the Tim Burton Catwoman. She was white, which was the biggest tip-off, and I could've swore I saw stitches on the cowl. With the reveal of the Burton Batmobile the other day and the old Batsuit being essentially the Burton Batsuit, it seems fairly likely that they could have '89 costumes. '66 Penguin had a skin, too, but it was just shown as a "?". That's probably regular Penguin, but there could be a third costume too.
  12. I prefer the new look. The old helmet was a little too much. Remember that Ace is DLC, so Adam Strange could easily still be in there. Especially since A. he's cosmic and B. he's got really simple powers for this game (gun and jetpack) So in that second to last row, who are the two female characters at the end by Superboy? The last one looks like Black Canary, but the one with the white hair has me lost.
  13. Awesome awesome awesome! So much information! I'm glad that the new Robin isn't just the old Robin in a helmet. Does he still have the generic helmet? I'm especially excited for Green Arrow, since I'll need him to round out the cast of my favorite JLU episode ever (I purist-ed the rest) and he sounds fantastic! Side note: They just confirmed Deathstroke for Lego Batman 3, and his mask (they just showed the icon on the character select so far, and from a distance) looks a bit like the Iron Man helmet Nevermind, I just watched the video and that was definitely a new mold.
  14. I wouldn't worry about Fox rushing to make an X-Men movie anymore. They're on a pretty good path for the time being. I've noticed recently that Marvel's been marketing stuff differently in regards to the Fox issue as well. Their used to be 3 areas of the Marvel universe: Avengers, X-Men, and Spider-Man, at least marketing-wise. Now, if you look at things, it seems like Marvel's trying to change that by replacing the X-Men corner with Guardians of the Galaxy. It's especially evident in the new Disney Infinity game, where they have three sets of figures: Avengers, Guardians, and Spider-Man. Not a single X-Man in sight. The fact that they still do Spider-Man means one of three things: Spider-Man's going to make them too much money from toys They want to continue with Ultimate Spider-Man (which as turned into a bit of a marketing tool as it is. Avengers crossovers are fine, but Jessie? Really Disney?) (This is less likely but still a possibility) They actually are working with Sony to do some crossovers. There's plenty of reason to believe that they cold be doing a crossover, the biggest of which being that they've tried to do it before. I'd say the first two are the big ones, though. They're going to be Inhumans, otherwise known as "Mutants, except ours."
  15. I read that the Rainbow Batman DLC pack had a mission in it, along with a rainbow-themed villain whose name I can't remember. I know the bad guy was on the same episode of Batman The Brave and the Bold as the Rainbow Batsuit. The mission involved Robin getting injured and Batman wearing the new suit to distract enemies from realizing that Robin is hurt. (Ironically enough, Robin did that for 45 years thanks to the green speedo and pixie boots. Bout time Batman returned the favor)
  16. Anybody else notice that the SDCC Green Arrow's mask has green eyes while every one of the masks that deskp posted had white? I'm beginning to think that our version is just going to be that one but with hair, a white-eyed mask, and probably no leg printing. Although it would be fantastic if LEGO would start putting the Wyldstyle hood piece to work and give Ollie a green one.His hair is going to be hard to pin down, though. I think the most obvious choice is the generic tousled hair in yellow or maybe even the Tim Drake hair. (I really wish they'd make just a few more hairpieces: one like new Green Arrow's, the one they're using for John Stewart in Lego Batman 3, and the one they used for Havok in Lego Marvel.) I think something like the Man-Bat hair without the ears would work wonders for him. I'd kinda like for them to add the little seashell necklace he wore on that cover where he's owning Green Lantern, too. It's a neat little detail that would spice it up a bit. Hopefully they'll at least give us a different facial expression for both he and Flash.
  17. I would've preferred to see DeeDee and Willie Watt be included, probably more than Bonk. Especially since Willie Watt could've had his mech as a big fig. The Joker works for me, but isn't that Mr. Freeze just the classic Mr. Freeze? I'd rather he be replaced (if he's a skin, that is) with one of those two. Heck, even Woof or Ghoul would've been awesome. I mean, the Christopher Walken impression alone should land Ghoul a spot lol
  18. Batman Beyond DLC was confirmed as exclusive to PS4 (and I think PS3?) including Batman Beyond, Old Bruce Wayne, Ace, Blight, Bonk, Inque, Mr. Freeze (hopefully just a skin and not the entire character), and Joker. No word on the level or any vehicles, though.
  19. That's an unfair comparison. Wikipedia is surprisingly reliable. Change an article and make it wrong, refresh the page two or three times, and whatever change you made will be gone and the page will be locked. Anyway, off-topic
  20. No I just gave him one of those lightning pieces.
  21. I'd say the only logical reasons for including Flash in a set yet again would be: Because all of the villains in the set are his villains Because they want the entire Justice League in this wave alone Because he's getting boot printing So here's hoping that last one's legit.
  22. I did him a bit ago like this: Spiky light blonde hair Generic Superhero head Rebel torso Black or Dark Blue Legs Can't wait to make the rest of the CW Rogues, since I've got almost all of the regular Rogues (thank god Grodd and Captain Cold are coming in a set!)
  23. I really wish we could get a DC minifig line like the one that Scribblenauts have been doing. Good blend of popular and nerdy over there. I think an easy way around that would be to put one of 7 or 8 random figs into each set in a wave. People get their favorites as well as someone they might not know about. Sure, it'll probably mark up the prices another 4 or 5 dollars, but for a whole new exclusive minifig that would be too obscure to make it into a usual set (Black Lightning anyone?) I think that would be worth it.
  24. I fixed Guy Gardner and finally finished my Deadman!
  25. They're far more likely to use a pre-existing mold. There's a reason Riddler has a crowbar and not a cane, and it's because if they can use a pre-existing piece they will. What they did in LEGO Marvel (if memory serves) would be too fragile. All those joints would just be too hard to incorporate without sacrificing the structural integrity of the piece. I'd say these guys have it right and tiny Ant-Man will be a printed trophy piece. Now they might give him a new mold for the helmet on that piece, but that's still pretty unlikely if they can get away with the default.
