  1. Ooo! I sure hope so! Vibe is one of my favorites! Yeah, I doubt they'd do the drugged thing, but I can't say I wouldn't want a set pretty much based on Justice League Doom! Actually, Zack Snyder said they'd be doing the Invisible Jet. Circe yes, Giganta maybe. In the very off chance that they would actually make an oversized minifig for her, Giganta would be awesome. If they ever did make Giganta, she'd either be a hideous bigfig or hideously brick-built. I want Cheetah if for no other reason than to have a Wonder Woman villain represented. She's also a pretty key member of the Legion of Doom, and we've almost got all of those guys. We're just missing Toy Man, Grundy, Giganta, Bizarro, and her, and I'd say we'll likely get Bizarro and Grundy sooner rather than later.
  2. I'd say they legally can't make Marvel ones. It seems like the action figure rights would apply here, and Lego doesn't own those. That's also why Star Wars isn't in them.
  3. I can't believe that so many of you guys are complaining about these. I understand that lots of countries aren't getting the boxes, but don't a lot of you guys just buy the figures from Bricklink anyway? I think it's cool that we have a means of getting less popular characters other than the god awful SDCC exclusives and for moderately cheap. It looks like we'll be getting a few more of these, regardless, so who do you guys think'll show up next?
  4. How sure are we that Lightning Lad is real...? That's a pretty obscure choice, even for the Legion, and it may just be the picture quality, but both the printing on him and the box don't look quite right.
  5. Does anyone have any ideas Misfit? That torso, especially.
  6. I wonder what you plan on using that for...? lol
  7. I think I'm going to wait on a few of the more expensive ones, since there's been a whole lot of polybags showing up for Marvel that could easily wind up as online exclusives like Martian Manhunter. I'll probably get the Javelin ASAP, though, because I've been waiting on that Green Arrow for ages.
  8. Yeah, that stubble might look a bit out of place. I think the best look for the torso might just be plain green with black arms. I looked at the green torsos and black torsos on Bricklink and didn't find much of anything that would give off the same feel. K-Nut's hair idea sounds perfect.
  9. Do you guys think they'll take the minifigure gift boxes off the shelves now that Christmas is over? I was wanting one but my Target didn't have any last time I was there.
  10. That would be a fun one. Do you have any ideas for him? The head's probably going to be the hardest part.
  11. I think that The Batman's Joker, while definitely strange and untraditional, would make for a great variant. The Bumpercar looks cute. I'll probably buy one, and maybe the parts to make a red one for Robin, too.
  12. Just got the Escape from Knowhere set with Rocket and Groot. The amount of poses I'm getting out of Groot is really nice, but Rocket's pretty disappointing. He's almost as tall as Star-Lord and lacks personality.
  13. Red Robin and Red Hood have to show up soon. If they don't, I'll go nuts! The real question is: do we want that wicked cool New 52 design or a classic design with the cowl? The cowl would be great for a purist Dr. Mid-Nite, and the head can be replaced with spiky hair and a Robin head to much the same effect. I don't quite understand the desire for the Watchtower? The Watchtower is way way way way too big to be translated that well into a set. I'd rather we get the Hall of Justice for a Justice League headquarters. Much more size-appropriate.
  14. 3 days after I make that post about the purist Beast Boy we get news that we'll get an official Beast Boy. Figures. (I'm actually really frickin happy about that though)
  15. YEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEESSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSS. We have to be getting Raven soon, too, there's no way they'd exclude her for long with the rest of the Titans being there!! Eeeeeeeeee!!!
  16. The Top looks pretty good. I'd suggest a white head for Shade. Isn't that Abraham Lincoln's hat with the beard cut off? You'd be better off with a regular sized one either way, though. Otherwise, good work!
  17. These sets sound interesting. Joker's Funland sounds very very fun, although it sounds like a whole lot of repeat figures. The water set is practically the opposite of that, where the builds sound like a rehash but some of the figures seem fantastic. With a Batsub, Batboat, and Batski, I don't think there's another aquatic Bat-vehicle they could do, but Killer Croc seems nearly confirmed (although if there's only one new villain I'll be disappointed). I don't think we need another aquatic Batsuit or Robin suit, though. I'm not sure what to expect from Joker's Funland besides Joker and Harley, which I'm not that interested in. There aren't even anymore Bat-family members left to team Batsy up with. In a perfect world, it would be Batman and the Creeper.
  18. Jatman and Rightwing?! My favorites!
  19. Black Panther is confirmed to be in Civil War, isn't he? Also, what major players from the Civil War comics is the MCU missing?
  20. I just don't understand what they possibly they have to lose by putting them out now. They'd sell a lot more of them, since there's no way kids would have them already and Christmas and all.
  21. "LEGO wouldn't release them before Christmas, nor the whole Christmas season. Now please don't ask why; no one quite knows the reason. It could be perhaps that their brands were too tight. Or it could be that their store shelves weren't arranged just right. But I think that the most likely reason of all... may have been that their wallets were two sizes too small. But, whatever the reason, their shelves or their brands, no one hated it more than the poor LEGO fans."
  22. Don't get your hopes up on Red Skull. Hugo Weaving has no plans whatsoever to go back to the red.
  23. I just saw this picture of Beast Boy from an issue of Teen Titans and noticed something very familiar... His suit looks exactly like Falcon's torso in the AIM Lab set! The perfect solution for a purist Beast Boy!
  24. 3 thoughts: Gorilla Grodd feels kinda naked. It makes me a teensy bit uncomfortable. I'm super glad that Captain Cold's freeze gun is different from Mr. Freeze's. That banana truck driver is in a constant state of terror. Take a moment to imagine this guy when he's not being attacked by a superintelligent naked gorilla, but just making his daily rounds. Your welcome.
  25. Personally I don't like the rings as far as Lego goes. They don't quite look right to me. Technically most of the set is a construct
