That's correct. I had to manipulate the stickers to get rid of the #c0c0c0 background colour. It was translated to transparent by a tool. But unfortunately all the other areas of the same colour are then also transparent and have to be manipulated by hand. But should be changed now ... I would apretiate some help to get a proper look of the page: - some cool icon on the left top - a good header image (the current is the original pirate library one, but resized) - a good layout of the menu frame on the left - maybe a redesigned main frame to be used as template for further pages ... andreas

I have to solve some points to do that: 1. I want to change the actual torso to 2 different icons. One as original lego one coloured torso and one for the torso image as we have that currently in the torso library. I do have an idea how to solve that and I will check that this week. 2. As you have seen in the menu on the left I'm already prepared to have a lot of torsos. So I think when solving the 1. point it's managable since I will generate the torso lib automatically. 3. Would be nice to get some head's as used in the generator. If somebody post them here I wil incorporate them in the next version. Andreas

- I used a starting body (the one called mask). - I converted the picture to a gif defining the grey as transparent - putting that together in power point (can also be done in a paint tool which uses layers like gimp) - where necessary I changed one part of the mask (like trousers or body with another colour) - the last step was to reduce the size to 140 width sounds complicated but can be done in several minutes ... andreas

I was interested how mosana's design of the Austrians would look like and being short of minifigs I did it in a picture. Afterwards there came me the idea that a Minifig Generator containing all of the designs would be great. Whole Mosana's Austrians

To my point of view the french shako you have shown us is one of the most typical ones used in Napoleonic times. You will find that that type of shako is also wearn by Russians, Austrians, Germans, Prussian, ... troops. But most of them use different forms and colours of the plums or cascades ... Therefore the idea of having two parts will be great. The typical english one ist also the one shown in your picture. All of them are smaller at the top. The original Lego shako comes to my feeling nearby. Other shakos which would cover a lot of troops where: "Kolpaks" (for husars and rifles ....) and dragoon helmets (which look also similar in all countries ...) Some comments ... The french style would be apropriate for most of the other armies: Russian, German, Austrian, .... The original is still true for the english shakoos, which were all smaller on the top. You often find cavalry helmets for garde du corps, cuirassiers and others like shown in this picture Yes, from the business case point of view your are completly correct. It would be a success to have a small number of different types and to sell them ... But to be honest I don't think that there are enough people interested in these helmets. So therefore a mold for resin pieces having some hundred pieces in mind will do the job ... Andreas

I've received some lego parts from USA or Canada. The shipping was done in letter form using this special letter bags which have a protection inside for small parts. If I remember it correctly the costs were not too high (some EUR). I don't know how sensitive resin parts are ... Andreas
