  1. Let's take a look on ebay!!! search for minifigs ...
  2. Do you have experiences with hats? How many shakoos do you think can be done with one form? What are the costs of such a trial? Andreas
  3. I think so. But I haven't seen the film yet. I did the work based on some pictures. Andreas
  4. And here's my Austrian Infantry set with some of my decals. The only thing which is missing now is somebody who grinds the shakoos out of the top hats.
  5. It's Elizabeth Swann. Don't know why I called it first sarah .... (maybe a little bit too much rum :) Andreas
  6. Maybe, but it simply does the job in the needed way and is available ... Especially if you downsize the decal to the original minifig size you will see that a lot of details are not needed. Andreas
  7. The major advantage to my point of view is that you can handle your drawings as sum of different objects. Which allows changes on an object level, for example changing the coat or changing the belt. Andreas
  8. Here are the next (Orlando Blum and Barbossa). Based on this pic from the new movie, At World's End Maybe I will add some more ...
  9. Should be Captain Jack
  10. Maybe someone want to contribute some other torso/sticker designs for this film. And that's how the minifig could look like ...
  11. I found that on Napoleon online which has a lot of additional unifrom drawings from this times. English Marines French Marines
  12. If you type in google picture search napoleon and a city or battlefield name you get a lot of drawings with buildings.
  13. Austrian Chevauleger Austrian Dragoon
  14. In the pictures on brickshelf there are already some Austrians. But I don't have brown torsos therefore they don't look correct at the moment. The existing Austrian army you can find under: http://www.brickshelf.com/gallery/woody64/...onic/Austrians/ Andreas
  15. British sea uniforms
  16. For those under us who are still interested in molding their own shakos:
  17. Hptm Hensel got the task to stop the french forces when they followed the Austrian army 1809 through the Kanaltal (Friaul). This was achieved with the fort malborghet. There he stopped 50.000 french forces for more then 5 days. So that the rest of the austrian army could reach a better defensive zone. The success was finally supported through french troops taking a small path behind the fort. Therefore you somethimes also can find the term austrian termophyles for this fight. Andreas
  18. Here's a picture of my french troops: With some first experiements to reproduce the drawing: http://www.brickshelf.com/gallery/woody64/...nic/Malborghet/ Andreas
  19. I've already raised a private question to brickarms when starting this thread. A proper other candidate would be: http://www.brickforge.com/
  20. To my point of view the mold should hold some pieces ... In the minifig customization network there are some custom greek helmets, wich are also sold. The seller specifies available quantities of 100. So the process seems to be handable. Is there anybody who is part of the network and can raise questions there? Andreas
  21. Was this your first trial? Do you have a photo of your shako? The big problem is that some guys in the forum need a lot of pieces. So a molded form where only one hat can be produced seems to less to me ... Andreas
  22. I asked back at the Lego online shop for this shako but they answered that this part isn't available any longer. So we are in the need to find a silicone molder willing to make some forms and to sell them .... Andreas
  23. Here are some pictures from some previous work. The Ulan, Husar, and top hat is made completly from some modelling clay. http://www.brickshelf.com/gallery/woody64/...onic/Austrians/ There you also can see a top hat rasped down to a shako. Andreas
