  1. There is also a new a little bit higher beret version available since some argued it's to small. Andreas
  2. Yes you can order my creations directly from shapeways. They have the right to produce and sell my items. - You only need a login - and you can order via paypal or credit card The items are designed with a 3d cad to fullfill special requirements needed for 3d printing. Shapeways does the 3d printing of these items with ABS or polyamid (nylon) material. By the ways, the new Landwehr hat arrived today. I will provide a picture later on. By the ways that's a picture of the k.k. Nr. 3 Erzherzog Karl, which also exists in Austria as traditional group: http://www.ir3.at Concerning degen and pallasch the principle design is very nearby the original lego one. The pallasch only should be the lined version of the cutlass for all the cavalry units which did use even this design. Andreas
  3. Here are some new designed items: Degen Landwehr Hat Pallasch can't waiting getting the first prototypes. Andreas
  4. And for finishing the original idea of having a custom molded british shako here's a group scene.
  5. The newest version, now fitting on the torso plug ... Andreas
  6. Here's some example: Austrian Cavalry Officers discussing the situation at Austerlitz ... Andreas
  7. I have a BL store but only for advertisment. Ordering from shapeways is much easier and cheaper ... http://www.bricklink.com/store.asp?p=woodyxfc http://www.shapeways.com/shops/MinifigCustomsIn3d (see also signature) Andreas
  8. There was the question raised for a clearer picture .... The rows are: 1. French troops 2. Austrian Generals: Erzherzog Karl, General, Schwarzenberg, Dragoons ... 3. Artillery, Mineurs, ... 4. Hungarian/German Infantry 5. Cuirassiers, Ulans, Hussars 6. Tyroleans, 4 slots unfinished
  9. Funny idea, since I also had it. As I remember stratego was on a 10x10 board with two lakes in the middle and an army of 4x10 for one player. That would result in an army of 80 minifigs which is rather huge. But having one french unit and one of the allies (british, austrian, prussian, russian) as counterpart would be a challenging task. Andreas
  10. Here's the preview of my army in a lego letter case (Edited: Zorro voted for the bigger picture ...:-) Andreas
  11. Some usage with modern torsos: Woody64
  12. I've added some Minifig Examples using Decals from the index sides under: http://minifig-gen3.mac-au.eu/png-gallery/index.html Additionally I would welcome some inputs (images) concerning newer hats (like Wikings, Star Wars ...) That's the format needed ... If you have (or make) some, please post them here Andreas
  13. Is that also yours? If so, very charming !!!!!!! Woody64
  14. Correct, the helmet is to small currently. Also the helmet is concepted as stand alone item (with a hole for the plug of the torso). Woody64
  15. Picture from the first prototype: (Unfortunately I made a sizing mistake so the hat is 1,2 to small therefore I had to drill up the hole for the plug and use some tape to fix it. But it gives an impression how it should look like later on) Andreas
  16. Yes, for more pictures see: http://www.brickshelf.com/cgi-bin/gallery.cgi?f=361443
  17. By the beginning of the week I got the latest version: Andreas
  18. Since the Star wars decal index is now available you can do this .... Andreas
  19. There's a beta version of the Minifig Generator 3.0 available at: http://minifig-gen3.mac-au.eu/ The new features are: - Layout based on Minifig Customization Workshop - New 2 Panel Structure - Support for Eurobricks decal index - Loading of brickshelf folders - Cut tool is now part of the main window with direct usage of the cut pieces - ... Beware: it's still beta ... Andreas
  20. The baker rifle has arrived (together with the bajonette in correct size and the corrected periwig). The bajonette fits on the old rifle and also on the new baker but since the rifle is smaller the fitting is not perfect. Maybe I will add the bajonette directly to the rifle or create an extra piece. Let's see ... Andreas

    Bajonette

The newest mold shows correct size and fitting of the bajonette on the old lego rifle: Andreas
  22. Thank's LuxorV for collecting this! I've update the Minifig Generator to base on such an index. Therefore I used a php script to view all the images listed in this index. Try this to view them: http://lego-minifig-generator.mac-au.eu/ex...showtopic=25533 (Beware the load is heavy since all the decals are loaded in a window). The same is now used to paste decals diretcly on a minifig. I will try the Pirate Decal Index next if the same also works there. Andreas
  23. The item is called Kolpak(Kalpak) or Hussar Shako, follow the link to find the item on the shop ... Hussar Shako The decals are adaptations of some designs published by Mosana: http://www.brickshelf.com/cgi-bin/gallery.cgi?f=354524 It was widely used by nearly all Hussar units (some french Hussars used also the normal french shako). It was also used by special men like trumpeter or banner wearer. In the example of the picture you see a dragoon unit where the trumpeter has a white uniform in contradiction to the normal men which wore the green jacket. That was very common that these men wore some inverse colouring ... Also there exists some paintings showing special line infantry men wearing the Kolpack (voltigeurs) Concerning ordering you have to do the following steps: - Visit the shop provided by shapeways: http://www.shapeways.com/shops/MinifigCustomsIn3d - all items having the shopping tray in the left corner are order able - after clicking on one item you get the item page and an order button - you will be asked to sign up (create an account before ordering) - there's a minimal order limit (between $30 and $40) but there's no(!) shipping fee The items I would recommend for building up new units are: - French Shako http://www.shapeways.com/model/12104/frenc...o_1809__s_.html used by nearly all French line units (also by German Rheinbund, Italians, ...) - Hussar http://www.shapeways.com/model/8845/hussar_shako.html - French Dragoon/Cuirassier http://www.shapeways.com/model/9338/french_dragoon.html - Austrian Dragoon Helmet http://www.shapeways.com/model/8324/austri...ier_helmet.html - British (Ofenrohr) Shako http://www.shapeways.com/model/12198/british_shako.html - Ulan http://www.shapeways.com/model/12751/ulan__small_.html usable for all Ulan units and polish units Sone designs are under review and close to be finished. (bajonette, periwig, baker rifle, scott beret) Andreas
  24. That's the mentioned version of the french cuirassier helment in this picture worn by a dragoon: Also used by the French was this type of helmet (in this picture worn by an austrian dragoon) Andreas
