  1. Pricing change Due to a major change in the pricing of the printing company I have also done some changes. The office now adds a handling fee from $1.5 due to the effort needed for the handling of small parts. In addition the cccm price is reduced. Unfortunately this affects all my small items. Item packs To handle this and to make the small items also affordable I've started to add packages of x (6,8,10) items per piece. So the price nearly remains in the same magnitude. x-packages are available for: - bayonette - bayonette (sword form) - pallasch - degen - axe - mace - brodie The office wil do some test print and then I can open it to the public. 30 years war There's a new section 30 years war with: - Lobster (new) - Merchant helm small/tall - Drums I think I will add some new items in the new future. P.S.: The original Lego spanish helmet of the pirate series fits perfectly to this topic. Prototyping Since the prototyping always costs time and money for me I want to ask if the following will be acceptable to some of you. When accepting a request for a new item from the comunity the requester will be asked to: - if I answer a request with a prototype on shapeways - the request owner is asked to buy the prototype and report the results via - pictures or vignette if it's ok - or failure report For the requester that means: - shapeways account - $25 for a prototype - this can be split into 2-3 new items (since the items can have failures) - and any number of other existing items to fill up the $25 For me that means: - no extra prototype costs - faster response to the others for new items - if an item is reported to be ok by a requester I can change the status to available Would that be discussable Woody64
  2. The prototype is uploaded so you can take a look on the 3d view. http://www.shapeways.com/model/50806/lobster.html
  3. Yes the hats are custom. Here we see the Bearskin and the French style shako (LEGO made the Ofenrohr shako). Here are some examples: Also Michael uses some of them in his MOCs: http://www.flickr.com/photos/34336019@N07/3852635646/ Woody64

  8. Take this overview for grenadier hats of the 18th century (showing different countries). http://img127.imageshack.us/img127/6164/di...adiershafo6.jpg This one showing tricorns and bicorns and mitres: http://img361.imageshack.us/img361/9808/mistake27wu8.jpg This picture gives a very nice overview over the hatwear of the french units during napoleonic times: Which gives also a nice idea how to equip an army when building it in lego. Here you find (from left to right): bicorn: Austrian Gunner helmet: Austrian dragoon shako: Austrian infantry ulan: Austrian ulan bicorn: Austrian general french style shako: Austrian hussar top hat style: Austrian Landwehr Kolpack: Austrian Hussar top hat style: Austrian "Jäger"/rifle men If you want to browse through different countries of one period, this may be a nice link: http://lego-minifig-generator.mac-au.eu/pn...goKnoetel4.html Woody64

    Malborghet

94c Take a look on my 2nd trial of the incidents at Malborghet: http://www.flickr.com/photos/34336019@N07/3885349028/ based on: Woody64
  10. I've studie the figures in detail and the add ons you have done are all so harmonious: - the paintings on the arms, hat, legs, .... - the decals - the hat decore don't know how to further improve it but sure you will impress us once more with your next posts. Would also be glad to see some bigger pictures of the scenes on MOCpages because the pictures are often too small to take alook on the details. What can we expect next? - Dragoons - Cuirassiers - More British units - or other countries .... Woody64
  11. Yeeah, his items really deserve that ....
  12. There are some pieces already tested with white detail: You can find a detailed look at: http://www.brickshelf.com/cgi-bin/gallery.cgi?f=398497 The merchant hat and the medieval hat are in white detail, which results in a more smooth surface. I've also started to make sections on my shapeways account, so you can see the items fitting to different historical periods and also which of the items should be printable in white detail (but not all tested yet). http://www.shapeways.com/shops/MinifigCust...%20and%20Detail Woody64
  13. Just found your decals on http://www.brickshelf.com/cgi-bin/gallery.cgi?f=394608. They are perfect !!!! Woody64
  14. Should it look like this? Woody64
  15. Interesting topic. I will put it on my list. Woody64
  16. As asked a picture of the gas mask with other hats: and a link to the new items: http://www.shapeways.com/shops/MinifigCust...amp;section=New
  17. I've tried it with a lot of my hats and it works. Pictures may be given later during that week. The female periwig had a design problem at the plug so that I can't check the correct fitting yet. Woody64
  18. I've started to work on my 12th mold. Very proud to see some of my customizations already on the net. The most exciting onces are from Michael Evans. Check out his newest at: - Incident in Belgium: http://www.mocpages.com/moc.php/146669 - Esslingen: http://www.mocpages.com/moc.php/146074 - Black Brunswickers at the Pirates Forum: http://www.eurobricks.com/forum/index.php?showtopic=32592 The most interesting topic for the next strep will be to redesign the most needed items for the white and detail material, which seems to be more smooth to the viewers. Suggestions are welcome ... Woody64
  19. Great ..... Will you also make a blue one?
  20. Amazing (I realy seldom use that). But I have a first comment. Maybe you should use a original Lego flag for the Lancers flag (and paint it). I think that would look more realistic .... Woody64 Can we also expect Dragoons and Cuirassiers?
  21. That's an nice army shown in a comlete scene: Take a look at: http://www.mocpages.com/moc.php/125969 Woody64
  22. Can you mark the flickr picture where you see the problem Woody64
