The hat bands are digital problems since that are the border of two objects. In the real object these effects aren't visible. That's another view of the brodie ... (maybe the rim has to be adapted, let's take a look on the picture below and give a comment) With neckguard (french) you mean the rim should get some other angle? Woody64

Currently I color it simple with Tamiya acryl paints. It's a 1 minute task per piece and the color is water solvable. No, there's no girl. Currently I'm reading Sharpe's Waterloo which inspired me for that scene and there are always girls in this books. So it's a good proposal :-) Further pictures you can find at flickr: http://www.flickr.com/photos/34336019@N07/ Woody64

To be honest I searched for some parts lying on the ground: - a sabre - a French hat - and in my lego box I found this red part, maybe some holdering of the carriage. but the best proposal wins :-) the guy is wearing a spyglass by the way, the decals are mostly original Mosana decals or slight adaptations ... woody64 P.S.: More pictures you can find on: http://www.flickr.com/photos/34336019@N07/

71c Attached my new british cannon stand. Consisting of: - Royal British Horse Artilelry Guards - some british Infantry for protection - and british rifles for skirmishing Woody64

That doesn't matter to me since only the result counts and that's very impressive. Maybe you can give us one detailed shot of the rifle? For guys interested in riflemen, here's a torso Mosana did some time ago: and a shot on a body: Woody64

Very fine adaptation of a riflemen. The amazing is that Jasbrick is doing all that with painting (also the torso I think). Andreas

Yor're right, I think really interesting for guys not searching for historical accuracy are: - the drums - degen - pallasch - the old items hussar, ulan, shako, rifle which can be reused for all armies - the bavarian, austrian, british shako and british helmets are local variation and only important for guys which want to extend their national troops with correct hats .... indeed the grenadeer will overcome a change to smaller wall sizes ...

And here are the printed items (on the left the original sabre): For some pictures in use follow this link: http://www.eurobricks.com/forum/index.php?showtopic=27775

The new prints have arrived. It includes: - Bavarian Helmet - English Horse Artillery Helmet - English Shako - Austrian Infantry Helmet - Prussian Grenadier Hat - Pallasch - Degen - Drum Take a look on the first pictures .... I've prepared some Bavarian Decals and will show a correct unformed scene later on. ... The models will get some minor corrections during easter weekend and be available by the beginning of next week (Grenadier, English shako, the rest is already ok ) Woody64

I've seen your army dealing with Swedish and Russian Troops. Maybe you can take a look on Mosana's great torsos from the GNW for further inspirations: http://www.brickshelf.com/cgi-bin/gallery.cgi?f=260324 Andreas

Recently I added some interesting items for army builders ... Today I checked it against the Funken books. And I think it's now possible to build nearly all regiments shown there for the Napoleonic area. Andreas

Maybe I have to construct a part which has a plug to attach the drum (like the saddle has). Currently there's no plug on the top and the botom for attaching lego parts. And here's the newest creation (Austrian Infantry Helmet):
-
Good point. I still wonder if I better should implement a plate which can be put between feet and torso? What do you think? Woody64
-
Very nice work. Are the decals also public. If yes, where can we find them. Woody64

My army is missing some drums ... http://www.shapeways.com/model/22538/drums.html Andreas
