Ninjago: Masters Of Spinjitsu TV Show Thread
Starrocks923 replied to Lance's topic in LEGO Media and Gaming
There's lots of discussion about age gaps in the show, so I think there's an easier way to settle this. There are three types of Minifigures in LEGO TV shows and specials: Minifigure with little legs. These are kids. Age is irrelevant, because as soon as the plot demands it, their legs will somehow grow. (Good thing Ninjago has potions!) That's what Lloyd was, but we don't know when he was born. We only know he was a "little legs" Minifigure until Season two. Minifigures with big legs who still haven't grown up yet. These Minifigs are clearly children trapped in an "adult's" body. All of the Ninja fit this description since they play video games all the time, can't hold a job longer than a week and make goofy jokes that are about as funny as the jokes on the side of a Pop-Tarts box. (Also, they never kill their enemies. Man of Steel, learn from this! ) Minifigures with long legs and long beards. No, they don't have to have beards, but they have to be "older", and are considered anywhere from 1 to 899 generations older than the adolescent big leggers. These characters are portrayed as wise, but strangely never wiser than the 9-year olds watching TV downstairs in your family room. Age is not relevant. Once you've determined a Minifigure's leg size, they can be whoever you want them to be, and the Hageman brothers know this. Just watch Garmadon come back from The Cursed Realm Hell with little legs and become Lloyd's son in season 7!- 4,591 replies

Ninjago: Masters Of Spinjitsu TV Show Thread

What, they don't take them apart to build better vehicles? The Elemental Weapons are surely rotting in hell for the crime of being too powerful to keep on the show, but too trivial for the writers to care about. It seems that Greg Farshtey wasn't kidding when he said that ninjas are an "easy sell" for a theme...- 4,591 replies

Now that's how you make a real (but still pirated ) recording of a LEGO Ninjago episode. Just record the video inside the iPhone video player. That way, if your mom asks you if you want My Little Pony fruit snacks, the people watching the video won't have to fall for the lie that it's your little brother. Didn't someone claim that there was a Ronin-centric Shadow of Ronin flashback episode? Without spoiling episodes 45-47, I will say it wasn't one of them. In particular, could you please translate Thanks! Am I the only person content with it being entirely written out of the show? It serves little purpose other than the fact that fans expect it to show up.- 4,591 replies

I'm impressed how Rinona has Fire Chi. That's a detail you would expect to be left out, but then, how many of you expected to get her again anyways? I'm still not buying any of these due to financial concerns, but I really want the Bear Mech now...

I tried, but messed up the tags. I read a conflicting report from the premiere anyways, so I removed it. I plan to see it on the 1st.

This entire message is being deleted due to spoilers from the premiere invalidating my reply.

Don't forget the show where Captain America dates his ex-girlfriend's niece(Granddaughter now?) and fights villains, all while having his political stances shifting depending on who is writing the episode. Heck, what about The Thunderbolts? That would be fun.

Actors usually sign multi-picture deals for Marvel anyways, and if they appear in the future, they appear as flashbacks, decoys, visions, etc. Thomas Kretchsmann signed a multi picture deal, but there have been a couple set reports stating that's not the case. Scarlet Witch and the Vision are likely to be involved romantically, since a messed-up witch and an android pairing is too much fun to pass up. None of the original Avengers are likely going to die(You could argue Hulk has no future, but really, how many of us want to tell our kids that?!?), and the death of Quicksilver could cause Scarlet Witch to run off mourning, while The Vision could go to protect her. That would effectively set up the scene in the trailer with the six original Avengers fighting what appears to be the final battle against Ultron, while removing three Avengers from the fight. QS could obviously return during Infinity War Part II. Then he could appear in Inhumans as the fiancee of Crystal, which would link Inhumans to the MCU.

If you don't mind me joining this discussion, I'm somewhat intrigued by your comments. I'm not really a Disney "fan" for personal(Heck, just political) issues, but I have been consistently pleased with their movies. I admit to not enjoying Frozen(What a shame-I very much like the woman who was watching it with me, and she loves it!), but Guardians of the Galaxy, Cars and Toy Story are what I would call legitimately good movies. I found them exciting, their stories riveting, and their protagonists worth rooting for. When I see the original ANH movie, my opinion of it does not drop after watching a prequel movie, or one of the slightly lackluster episodes of Star Wars Rebels. Even after watching the dreaded Holiday Special with Princess Leia singing, I look back at A New Hope and know that Star Wars is still there. Regardless of how much I enjoy The Force Awakens, it won't lessen how I view the OT. Now, on your comment about emotionally fragile board members, I think you're on the wrong forum. There are certainly many other places with people who write strange fanfiction stories "shipping" seemingly random characters, but I only see mature users on this site. They may use emotes and capital letters to portray a fake reaction when they hear news or see an episode, but their care for the franchise is genuine. I get the impression that you care about the franchise too, and don't want Disney to ruin it. That's good! But please remember to respect the users here. We're all humans, of course! If you want someone to talk to about Disney and Star Wars, you are free to PM me.

LEGO just keeps on leaking on the Youtube channel. I don't see why LEGO allows this, unless it's a marketing stunt to raise hype.

Okoto Online Game [Chapter I Released]
Starrocks923 replied to bionicle_fanatic's topic in LEGO Action Figures
I reached Chapter II, and I'm definitely enjoying it. -I keep losing the Fire sword and can't find it again, what causes it to spawn? I lose it when I fall in lava. -Speaking of lava, finding the Earth region was difficult. Fun, but difficult. -Also, I've been trying to navigate the Earth region, and it took five minutes to find the Turaga-like Protector. I like it so far. Could you consider changing the main Protector's mask to light blue and his hands as well, please? (I didn't realize you could switch between Protectors.) -
That was a fun episode. Not much really happened though. I do hope Tahu still becomes team leader though.

I know it's kind of silly at this point, but does anyone have a spare code from a Unicorn Girl they are willing to share? The code can be used for both LEGO Minifigures Online and the "Collect and Win!" contest separately, so I can ask my friend not to use the code for the raffle if someone is willing to PM me one. (She's only 10 anyways. )

I think that accurately describes what the Inquisitor was supposed to be...

I guess I'm too late for the spiritual discussion(Of which I would rather keep my opinions on silent anyways), but is there still time to talk about Biomechanical reproduction? Anyways, I assume the special Valentine's Day/Random U.S. promotional Hau is meant to be a reference to the Translucent Green Kanohi Miru back in 2001? I wonder when they will hand out the equivalent of the Orange Vahi-will we get a cancelled game with it?

Most likely, I would agree. That would ruin pre-established romances too many kids like, not to mention alienate some of their parents.

That's perfectly understandable. I personally thought that the words in the chant were actually just the names of ghosts that would be freed(Notably Morro), but you're doing the right thing to not support something that goes against your faith. It CAN be consistent-the problem is, it isn't. In "The Invitation", Nuckal and Kruncha switch both voice actors AND personalities. In "The Greatest Fear of All". the prison warden calls Kruncha "Frakjaw"...even though I don't recall any non-general Skeletons ever being named-dropped in the show. Meanwhile, with every new season, the previous villains are suddenly given a retcon so they can become "good", and therefore appease all the kids who cry when they grow too attached to the bad guys. Imagine what would happen if someone like Hannibal Lecter was released because the prison guards pity him, or if The Joker was given a pat on the back because of tweenage fangirls hoping for romance in The Dark Knight-is that what kids should be learning? That evil can be checked by letting it run free?- 4,591 replies

I wouldn't normally discuss a Ninjago iPhone app here, but after several hours of messing around(And getting a high score over 17,000,000, unlocking golden ninja, etc.), I feel I've found enough spoilers for the show to share them here: I feel this is rather off-topic for this forum, so I will not bring this up again.- 4,591 replies
