Nice ride, but I loved to see more from your houses in the background.

That is a very nice building. I like the detailing with the round 1x1 bricks and plates. Regarding the roof, I like it, but I would have made the room below two studs wider, making it hang over the side.

I like this version with the tan colors better than the the previous version with the dark red colors. Very nice use of the arches.

I am going on Saturday. Unfortunately due to a busy schedule I can spend too much time there.

Mixture of Bricks Collection
Vincent Kessels replied to LegoBuilder's topic in General LEGO Discussion
What I always do when I am building is to add the bricks (and plates, etc) to my wanted list on BrickLink. That way when I am going to order bricks I know which additional bricks I was missing and I might add to my order. -
Unfortunately, it will be another 3 weeks before I will be in the neighborhood. - Vincent

Great job. The raised bottom floor definitely looks better.

Buying Pirate LEGO - where to buy, advice, tips and questions
Vincent Kessels replied to Mr. Smee's topic in LEGO Pirates
Which Lego Pirates? The current series or older ones? It also helps to know in which country you are looking. The current series can be found on Lego.com. Older (and resent) series can be found on BrickLink.- 502 replies

I visited the Thermenmuseum this afternoon and it was great seeing your building in real life. The whole street is very good and the interior of the candy shop is amazing.

LEGO Fanwelt 2010 in Cologne/Germany
Vincent Kessels replied to Uni's topic in LEGO Events and User Groups
Hello Uni, I am planning to go this year to Fanwelt (for the first time), but I am not sure if I should attend and bring some of my modular houses, or that I should go as a visitor. What can I expect from the program? There is no program table yet on the website. Are there any activities other then the AFOL Day on Saturday? When should I arrive to start setting up, since my houses are easy to setup (on BrickWorld it took me less than half an hour)? I expect that a lot of interaction between AFOL's is during setup, but I don't want to arrive early while there is nobody for the first days. Regards, Vincent -
Why aren't there more UK Lego shops?
Vincent Kessels replied to jm28cardiff's topic in General LEGO Discussion
I can't decide if that is an improvement or not You're lucky with 3 Lego shops, because here in the Netherlands there are non. I would already be happy if there was a toyshop with a decent PAB wall. -
I just finished reading The Draco Tavern from Larry Niven. It's a collection of stories about a tavern on earth for visiting aliens.

This would have deserved (half) a table on its own on BrickWorld. But then again, you probably needed a lot more tables...

Ah, the magic age... Welcome to LEGO and Eurobricks from the Netherlands.

Yearly Calender for Lego Events

1000steine-Land in Berlin in June. -
That is a great looking building. I love the colors on the outside. I would indeed make the lower level one or two bricks higher. This would also allow you to make the green and white sun shades a bit bigger.

Nice buildings. I like the Gyro House, especially the grey blinds above the windows. Your other houses also look good. The Sydney Opera House is brilliant.

Amazing LDD + DbM creation

He made a lot more microscale buildings. See his Brickshelf account. -
I can't decide which is better, the outside or the inside. Great job!

Welcome. I hope you have a nice time here. Watch out for the LEGO on the floor... -
Very good! It is impressive that it looks so accurate.

It was even better during the "World of Lights".
