  1. That is really nice work....every detail was worked out precisely and with greatest care... You spent also a lot of time at building the rescuetruck... The result is again superb work....you should use this scene for trying to get a job at the Lego Group !!! They should offer you that job ofcourse !!! Greetz LegoSjaak
  2. Hello Locutis, thank you for your enthusiastic reply, it makes me glad te hear that you like my city! I did consider the modular buildings but till now i didn't buy one, because it is quit a lot of money at one time...I know, i spent a lot of money on all the other sets, so why didn't i buy modular houses, i hear you think..but.. it till now....i just didnt do that... Maybe next year i will buy modulars, because i'm not expecting too much from the city 2011 sets.... police and space....are not those items i'm waiting for right now... so... lets wait and see.... BTW i have made already some new video's!! Greetz, LegoSjaak
  3. Duq, that is right... must say that i didn't call it a MOC... EB added that, cause i can't remember putting MOC in the title.. But i quoted already that this loc is similar to the yellow 7939 cargotrain. I'm not thát creative, wish i was....!! But i think it is worth having a look at....i like it !! Greetz, LegoSjaak

Thank you....it is pretty big yes, but i have limited space,so that is why it is so busy in my town...The size is about 3.5 by 2 meters.... It is just like Holland, that is where i live... it is busy here as well!! Greetz LegoSjaak
  5. I can imagine that you don't like the front sticker...to be honest, i did not have any other stickers, but i also wanted the red train to look different than the yellow version. So an option was to do that with different stickering.. These stickers are from the passengertrain 7938 as you may have noticed.... I think it is possible to make an orange one, but i am not sure.... Someone who delivers parts to me has also build a complete black version of the 7939... Greet LegoSjaak

Hi there, here is a link to my Lego City.... have a look, it is worth it, ik think!! Just built the cargo loc 7939 but then in red.....exclusive i think !!! Greetz LegoSjaak
  7. Have a look at my almost finished red loc..it is similar to the yellow 7939 cargoset! http://www.brickshelf.com/cgi-bin/gallery.cgi?i=4754090 Greetz LegoSjaak
  8. That tan house is a superb design...it is one of the best MOC houses i saw on eurobricks this year, and i will tell you why! This house is very realistic, the laundrey-line etc, those very simple things just make that building what it is! You have done a very good job, and you should MOC other houses as well, but try not to build too big...just make the building, like you did, with details and a sharp eye for reality!!! Thank you for publishing this picture....it pleases my eyes!!! Greetz, LegoSjaak
  9. I got pretty thirsty when i saw this scene... it really looks inviting to me!! Come and have a beer at the bar.. nice!! But, don't drink too much Great work!
  10. There is a nice SUV in the Lego-set 7635. It's the set with horse and trailer..and this SUV looks great. It looks most like an Englisch Landrover discovery or something... just have a look.. it's really great ! Yours is also nice, although it is a little long.. its a kind of SUV-van... Greetz LegoSjaak
  11. How nice to see that design matches so well with a strong construction.. it triggers me to build such a bridge as well...but my budget for parts has exceeded the limit already for this year... Very nice work !!! Greetz LegoSjaak
  12. Thank you! I myself bought the train already a few weeks ago, but i know that there are a lot of people who would like to buy one as well, but cannot afford expensive trains, but now it looks like everyone can get a train...because 95 euro's is a very good price!! Have a look at my 7939 trainlayout.. i really love the new trains!!! Greetz LegoSjaak
  13. Nice work.. it is difficult to make such a truck with limited bricks...but you've done a great job, i think! I like the little yellow desk as well, you've got an eye for detail!! You should do the same with the cargotrain or passengertrain.. could be nice!! Greetz, LegoSjaak
  14. For our Dutch members.... from 31 october till december fifth, the Lego cargotrain 7939 is only Eur 95,19 incl BTW (VAT) That ofcours is incredibly cheap... so go and get one.. or two.... Succes !!
  15. Yeah, i like these townhouses a lot..they are beautifull in a simple style.....and have e realistic look.... bought 3 of them second hand for only 45 euro's a piece......but the bricks were 99,9% new!! Thank you for enjoying my city... Greetz LegoSjaak

  19. I made a nice Youtube film of my City...have a look !!
  20. Looks very good Benny, i like the roofing of the main building the most! I must say that you also put a lot of time in photographing all those nice details...you did that superb as well!! Now build a nice trainlayout around this magnificent piece!! Greetz LegoSjaak
  21. Thank you!! It's a great compliment to hear that i inspired you to start building. For me Lego is something so look out for. During my work i think of the things i want to and in the evening, i now and then have time to build or create something! It really makes me feel good, especially when i'm in a very busy period. Well, i hope more people can find fun in building with Lego....everybody I'm a conformist!!!! I will too !! By the way, you have also beautifull creations!!!!!!!!!!!
  22. That's right, it is busy, but due to limited space, i just put it al together a little less spacy. I will take a picture from above the city, so you can see the roadplan. Then you can also see that there is a good structure in the city with roads and buildins. Now it looks like a dropped everything just anywhere... i'm very happy with the result!!
  23. Hi Fuzzyguy, thanks for your compliments. Some think that making such a city is not difficult. It is true that MOC's do cost a lot of time, but i think that figuring out whát building whére to put in the layout, is also difficult... the garage, police and firestation do not fit on a 32x32 baseplate....so you have to find solutions to fit it in better... The new trainstation is also a difficult one wih that extra shop. It doesnt fit in all track-layouts. The last months, i'm more and more personalising the sets...adding a little, or just changing a little of the design..maybe i come up with a MOC oneday... but i mainly likt those big modular buildings...and i don't have time for that...sadly..... The public Transport Set is worth it's money... it's really a great set with lots of possibilities to fit it into your own town!!! I also wonder whether TLG comes up with somethingelse than police and fire-thingies in 2011...... Succes !!
  24. Thanks...i now... i should add extra buildingplates...but i would need 84 pieces of the darkgrey 16x32 plates... and that would cost me approx. Eur 350,- anyone got 84 cheap pieces for me?? Green plates are a lot cheaper, but it would still be about Eur 200,- Greetz
  25. Hi there you trainfans... the last days there is not so many news on the forum, so i decided to put somtehing on it! Point is that i updated my city the last two weeks.
