"Really? Has anything odd or traumatic happened recently?" Then, Alexandre notices Drake, and when Benji shouts, Alexandre joins him. "Fool. How about you fight me in the arena? Let's make a bet, put all of our gold on the line."
-
That's what I do. I just skip past it and not reply. Fantome Croise: Tres bien, Benji! I'm glad you still have the urge to fulfill your oath you took to me. Kill Drake, establish le perfect world! Note: I would've posted his picture, but apparently Brickshelf is down.
-
"That is correct. How do you do?"
-
Alexandre spots Benji, alone. He decides to get up and stride over. "Hello, have we met before? You sound so familiar, like we've been together for 3 quests, but I can't remember such a thing. I hope I don't sound insane."
-
Alexandre sells his Grand Tonic for 15 gold. 52+15=67 gold.

It's the Spitosaur Poison working its way into his system!

Heroica Master - Bow to your Leader
Capt.JohnPaul replied to Dragonator's topic in The Heroica Archive
Congratulations! You're doing a great job with the ever expanding Heroica game. -
"Wise words, Sir Sarge. Though it could help the intimidation factor. And saying stuff in a different language makes your opponent feel stupid."
-
The party decides? I want in! I think maybe each House has its own side.
-
Well he said "Alexander," not "Alexandre." I think it's you.
-
Do you mean Croise-bad, or something else? Sorry if something I said made you uncomfortable. Cause I really don't think you're bad. You seem like a nice guy.
-
And then it gets complicated. Is the Fantome bad for killing bad people? This is exactly how I make people think. Do ends justify the means? Do some people deserve to live? Have you considered everyone's points of view? How would you feel if you were deemed "bad." How would you feel if you were a victim of "bad people." It's interesting to see how people view this subject.

I more draw inspiration from difficult moral life questions, problems, etc. For example, the Fantome Croise was thought up of as I wanted a character that really wanted to do good, but was emotionally unstable. I came up with the idea as I wondered, "Hey, could there be a perfect world? If you eliminate all bad, doesn't that make 100% good?" And once that was in my mind, a whole story rises up out of it. Now of course, the theory seems to work*, but it's hard to put in place without being a maniacal laughing crusader who kills people. *I really don't want to get into a debate or something about theories of perfection, this really isn't the place for moral arguments on evil and chaos. (Well maybe it is, but save it for Arthur or go on a Croise quest yourself. ) Also, Sullivan in Quest #60, came up from another question. How good really is life? In short, I just like the heroes take a pause and think. I did see it. Oh, Alexander dies? Fine by me, we don't need all those archers.
-
I've never seen any of those. I can't even watch five minutes of a Harry Potter movie before I walk away. (Though I do remember watching LOTR, though it was a long time ago and I kind of forgot a lot.)
-
Not too big. Just a simply set where you can put a few gladiators and not look cramped. Of course, a large one would be awesome. The picture does not need to be up anytime soon. I just like to have pictures of the main stuff before the quest is approved. (That way I can improve quality, play around in PS, and not worry about deadlines if the party goes faster than expected.) If anyone doesn't want to until the quest is approved, that is ok, and understandable.
-
Hey everyone, I have a favor to ask. Could someone please make a set for me? I would like a sandy gladiator arena, and a few pictures of different enemies in them. (An actual CMF gladiator would be great for 1 of them.)
-
Alexandre posts an announcement as well. For All ether users! 1 Grand Tonic for sale! If you want to make an offer and get 1 cheaper than marketplace price, contact me! Alexandre decides to be a clever salesman and changes it. Buy 1 Grand Tonic for the regular price, and get TWO potions for FREE! Buy now and I'll throw in another potion, at no cost to you!

"Oh yeah, I think I remember hearing something like that underneath the Hall. That's pretty disturbing, along with giant lizards." Alexandre turns to Thailon. "We're going good. There's 3 of us so far, and we should be going on the Hinckwell quest. We foolish knights made the mistake of trying to fight undead when we have no elemental weapons." ~~Quest #67 Interlude~~
-
Hopefully Alexander comes back to the Hall. This round table already has 7 people sitting at it. Make it 8!
-
"Thailon? Is that you? That sorcerer's outfit looks good."
-
"I recently escorted a man into the sewers. Turns out there is a magic door there that could lead to the ruins of a lost civilization of Moon Elves."
-
@Joeshmoe- Wow! Jeaux's backstory just got really cool! I'm now really interested with your character. Though is the man who saved you Merlin, backwards?
-
Ah yes, the NPC's were underpowered for a few reasons.1- they requested your help for a reason. I can't have a few macho men cowering in fear. And 2- It was okay if they died. They were actually supposed to be meatshields for you guys. But I decided not to tell you. Alan would never die. Bors would die if he was KO'd twice. And Carson would die instantly.

Heroica RPG- Quest #67: Nova Tertia
Capt.JohnPaul replied to Capt.JohnPaul's topic in The Heroica Archive
"Ah. You know, it's all about money. People have never seen such exotic creatures before, so they'll come." The supervisor seems to be hiding something, but no one can be sure of what. -
"Nice to meet you Haldor. I am Alexandre. Le Chevalier." Alexandre smiles, he was looking at a real warrior here. A warrior who could smash giant dinosaurs.
