I was part of saving Dastan in the final stand, I defended Bric'Bay fort against all odds against the elves, I was part of Luosh's resistance against the proggs, and I was a member of the team who escorted a man through a sewer. If I can defeat 3 giant scorpion creatures the size of buildings, I'm sure I can beat 3 of you." If this doesn't work, Alexandre accepts battle.

SheepEater. I think it would be helpful if we knew the reason of why you came up with these counter-arguments. Are you afraid she'll disapprove? To be honest, if she never liked the hobby anyways, no amount of lying OR honesty would help. I think, you're30 years old, a big boy, if she gives you any crap just say that's what you enjoy and it's not her business. Trying to hide the boxes and explain to her "you told me to do this and I needed it for my collection" seems almost childish. You're an adult, I'd just be proud of it.
