  1. This happens to me all the time and it's so frustrating. Like others said, removing arms and legs from hips would cause it. Also, licensed theme minifigs seem to crack a whole lot easier. But I do have a question that is really confusing. My minifigs from a long time ago, (before 2000) don't have cracked arms, but my newer ones are constantly getting broken. Any ideas why?
  2. "Guys! Arasmyth is getting surrounded! I'll help him." Alex switches his aim of his crossbow to Archer A from the back.
  3. I reload and target Archer B from the back row. "3 Damage???? " says the knight. OOC: I know it caused 3 damage, just roleplaying Doc, don't think you made a mistake.
  4. Especially if it's a LEGO brick. Brickdoctor, do you use photoshop CS5 Extended by any chance?
  5. Ok, I'll then attack Archer A, with the ram
  6. "I see them!" shouts Alexandre atop his position. He aims his crossbow. He shoots at Elven Archer B from the back row.
  7. (My position is wrong, after the first round, K-nut and I decided will be on top of the wooden look-out tower) From atop my position, I try and see what the elves are bringing, or if they are here yet.
  8. I'm now kind of the same. What else can we do? Or shall we get the next round started.
  9. Happy birthday. How many collectible minifigs did you get? Must be his birthday too. ....
  10. Now that we have this thing, we need to haul it up to the tower. One thing, how do we drink water now? Alex uses his warrior strength to bring the contraption up to the tower. (North East Flipz?) OOC: to Flipz
  11. I already mentioned that. I don't have the halberd, so I can't do anything now.
  12. Okay, we use the halberd to cut the trunk in half, then we get knives, more axes, or anything else sharp to cut each half hollow, like now, it would look like a canoe. (For each half) Then we use that glue substance we were talking about to glue them together. And then we have a cannon.
  13. So, here's my plan. 1) I forget who had the halberd, but this is the next morning right? And it doesn't have to be done next round, we could probably make it after this one. (Cut down today, hollow out tomorrow.) 2) If somebody has a fire gem or some really hot oven, we could melt down utensils and dead elves weapons and hammer the soft metal into a ring or band to reinforce it. 3) We should put it on a tower, where there's room. 4) It would fire anything! Rocks I think, would work fine, or more utensils, or perhaps we use the wood we hollowed out and carve them into balls or use splinters for a spread shot. I think if all these work, WE GET STARTED right away.
  14. Now that we have black powder, could we quickly make a cannon out of a tree trunk? We could cut down one more tree.
  15. "Huh? Why would we waste ether for a lemon tree? "
  16. We have torches. "So..... what else do we have to do?" Alex asks the other questers for ideas.
  17. "Can Finnegan even puke?" Alex asks, disgusted at what he sees.
  18. Since Finnegan isn't actually a player character, I don't think that would happen, technically.
  19. It's actually quite safe, don't use flint or a wooden spoon. Stay away from the fire to roast meat...
  20. "May I ask what we are doing anyways?"
  21. I don't think that's a good idea, they'll probably bring more archers....
  22. No no no!!! I meant the doors on the walls. (When you climb up, you can go left or right, into one of the towers, but to get into the tower, there's usually a door of some kind.)
  23. "Umm.... I don't think the planks would be effective as the door trap. We would have to man them, and if they do bring siege weapons, they would probably shoot down the walls and then we can't use it, while putting them on the doors would keep them safe. And if the West Wall fell, we would lose the men manning the oil too. Also, if they fall for the trap, they'll be more cautious or even scared to continue for fear of other traps. So I propose we not use the planks, the planks could be used for other things, more stakes or spears, barricading doors with nails, that sort of stuff."
  24. "I just had a wonderful vision for a plan! By the towers on each side of the West wall, we leave the doors open a tiny bit. (Assuming there are doors, which I would think would be standard design for a fort to prevent enemies from getting past and into the tower.) We put the pots of boiling oil on the top, so when ever someone opens it, the oil will fall on them and maybe who ever is behind them. Both towers will have the oil traps, and then we don't have to put any guards on the West Wall. We could command the troops to hide during the night, making the fort look like it has no sentries, and the elves will be enticed to attack the West Wall. And then on the wall, they'll be trapped between the 2 towers with the oil traps.. " Sorry if that was kind of long and confusing.
