  1. Alexandre looks confused, then to Skrall. "You know him? And this Poletad thing?" Alexandre leaves all the talking to Skrall. He's heard about these Wren Quests, but it was obvious others in the party were way more experienced and knowledgeable.
  2. I got (in no order) Brickdoctor, ACpin, CGH. This is really fun.
  3. This is hilarious! I got everyone except PeppermintM. The two unsolved ones are Hinckley and Siegfried. (The segway, and fried egg, then the "Hic" and "knee" sounds like Hinckley.) EDIT: Dang same time post!
  4. Ooc: Why am I slowed? I gave the Greatsword back to Skrall. Alexandre pulls his hauberk over his head, and puts on his helmet. "We need to get back to the capitol. The rebels must have some sort of plan... a big one at that. It is the capitol. Let's go."
  5. Opening spoilers ARE tempting! But the thing that actually stated what was not supposed to be spoiled.... was in spoilers. I understand where Sandy is coming from, I just don't understand why spoilers are bad... there's a reason why we have them. Just like when we were talking about Flipz's and Tanma's WOT, just scroll right past them.
  6. I agree with posades. Disappointed? It sounds like your a Jedi, and he's some sort of student. "Sticking his nose in?" Can we not read other quests? Actually, the players could figure it out themselves, as they DID say what the spoilers contained: No one from the quest commented or saw the post before it was edited into spoilers. If someone says he gets it, why would any of the people on the quest read it? It would be their fault. Now yes, it's not someone's job to drop hints, but I don't see the problem with the spoilers.
  7. OOC: Also I should have only 1 firebomb. "Let's go to the capital." Alexandre brings Skrall aside in a private talk. "Skrall, I've been thinking about going to the capital AND finding Russel. Look at me." Alexandre indicates his simple tunic and leather clothes. "I don't look like a knight. Well, not without my armor anyways. But if we go back to the capital, maybe I could eavesdrop somewhere, and they wouldn't recognize me. I could do an undercover operation."
  8. Alexandre takes a deep breath, and shows a look of guilt. Alexandre walks away, takes of his armor, and sits on a rock, thinking deeply.
  9. Alexandre hands the WP: 20 sword back to Skrall. "Thanks for the heal." Alexandre also eavesdrops, "Wait, I've been acting different? What do you mean?" Alexandre steps back, and starts to worry. Doc, don't I have 1 firebomb? Not two. I used one in the first battle, I think.
  10. Perhaps a werewolf?? You know, Lycanthropy, where the human turns into a werewolf? (It is lycanthropy, right?)
  11. Alexandre lifts up the sword again, and engages Pikeman B from the front. "One more person attack B with me, just in case I miss or something. Everyone else should get Pikeman A, since he's in the back, so my sword won't kill him."
  12. Alexandre kneels in front of Count Knyghton, being a shield, while still letting the Count to see.
  13. Wow, wow wow. Amazing Flipz. It was interesting and humorous to read. I realized that I'm actually not as bad as I thought at RP.
  14. Alexandre licks his lips and smiles. He charges at the Teuthisal from the front. "Charge!"
  15. Alexandre jumps in front of Arthur, covering him with his shield. "I'm grateful for the healing, Arthur." Since I can't do anything... I guess we can start the round.
  16. Alexandre hefts the greatsword up, and brings it down on the Pongcanis's head from the front.
  17. Why not go back to Spearman? Or pikeman? What about Hoplite? (That's not exactly right, but it could work.) We can try Huscarls, for the shield wall/phalanx special. I can't think of any more right now.
  18. It's in bold red font, how did I miss that? Exactly, a name change is necessary. One is light and runs around quickly, the other moves slowly with others tightly packed, and armored with shields and armor. Doc switched the two.
  19. That's not always the best source.. since there is no source... but that is the description I've always heard.
  20. The shield is underpowered, it's a level 30 class, put back in the encouraged effect. I'm unsure about having swords. Maybe you should, if you have to have a great reputation with the Lion Knights, you probably would have to go on Quests like 17. So I got that wonderful WP: 6 sword, but I can't use it, even though it was from a Lion Quest. I thought so too. But a "skirmish" is a small engagement, usually from lightly armed fighters. A phalanx doesn't sound lightly armed.
  21. But that what the knight and whatever class combo is for. This is a pikeman, and a phalanx, they need to be a extremely defensive class, not all-around. Also, now that I thought about it, a quick idea is that it could be almost like an evoker. Instead of pets or creatures, you could "summon" extra soldiers to perform a phalanx.
  22. Oooh...! Give me that Spearman class! I think it is balanced perfectly. Too bad I have to wait for level 30 to get it.
  23. Since Alexandre has to recover from using the weapon, he goes and chats with Isabella and Knyghton, blocking any free hits with his shield. "I don't want to frighten any of you, you may be surprised, as my idea is totally out of my personality.... but you may agree it is the right thing to do. It's.... well... for now, how about all I say is to hire some 'bully boys' to talk some sense, and carry it from there?" Alexandre, shame faced, turned away. Why did he even bring up the idea? Could he really hire soldiers to beat up his friend? "Oh, nevermind."
  24. But if you go back in time, do you have the technology to go forward again? Or, you could just stay where you are, the universe splits because of your decision, and in an alternate universe, you go forward in time. Or there is an alternate universe where you never left to go back in time.
  25. "Well, that woke him up," Alexandre said in aside. Alexandre, kneeling over Arthur, turns, draws his sword, slashing at Rogue Pikeman B. Front Row. Alexandre whispers, out of earshot, "Isabella, Count, we need to devise something after this, and talk. I've had enough."
