  1. Waiting for that as well. Maybe TLC have decided to keep the cards close to their chest this year...
  2. Waiting for some info and pics from next year's sets now
  3. Aha! didn't think about that, still a very awkward shape though. Gearing down from such a high speed would use a lot of space and create more friction. However I agree there might be some situations where such a solution would work good.
  4. There is abselutely no situations as i know of where you need 1900rpm, and where such a low amount of torque is sufficient... except for maybe if you're trying to build a LEGO smoothie machine? Hmmm... i wonder if anyone has ever done that?
  5. Frankly it seems quite useless to me; it's rpm is way to high and torque to low, it's to big and not suitable for studless building. And I assume the two axles can't be controlled independently? I might be wrong though.
  6. Seems to me like it can be done simontainous looking at these pictures:
  7. Hmm... waiting for a 8053 review... Somebody out there must have gotten one?
  8. The LA's built-in clutch only steps in at really high resistanse, and i think a clutch would be preferred at most cases... at least here. (?)
  9. I'm thinking about the white 24t clutch, not the dark gray 16t idlers. It seems unlogical for me to use a regular 24t gear between the motor and the LA instead of a clutch. (8052)
  10. Nice Thank you Doesn't seem like TLC fancy clutches anymore
  11. Something like Dennis bosmans Liebherr lg 1550 lattice boom crane in a scale similar to 8421. Loads of functions, and I would say not an impossible task to design.
  12. Sorry about that, but has it been discussed on this forum? Guess I'm not very good at searching Anyways, a set I think is worth to mention as the underrated ones, is the 8273 Off Road truck. For only 50$ you get a big load of functions and pieces.
  13. What do you think is the best technic set LEGO has released since the start in 1977? My main question is what you think is the all-time best set, but considering the different strengths and factors of different sets you might want to mention several: - Best design - Most complex/best functions - Most revolutionary - Most underrated - Best small set - Great, but forgotten etc. etc. Share your opinions:)
  14. http://translate.google.com/translate?hl=n...etechnic.com%2F Google works just fine
  15. Seems like TLG has taken it up some notches. Amazing design, complexity and playability.
  16. Yeah i know thanks for the answers anyways
  17. Hello, I've got a little question for you guys. Is there any other reasonable solution for extending cranes with three sections (or more) than the cable solution in 8421? And how do they do it in real life?
  18. About the mobile crane: If you take a look at the arrows on the picture, there is one that indicates movement of the whole superstructure. What I think is that the two red swithes on the superstructure control four functions (raising the boom, extend, hook and rotating the superstructure). This means that you can most likely add power functions and motorize four different functions
