Suggestions for future Themed Months
Vaders_son replied to The Rancor's topic in Forum Information and Help
I didn't see too much of castle month, as I'm just 'back' for some 2 weeks or so. Maybe a pirates month? (Don't chamber me if there has been one already, I'm still catching up PLEASE ) As I am a huge Star Wars fan I would of course love a Star Wars theme month How about a Wild West month? There seem to be quite a lot of WW fans around Best regards, Benny -
You mean build it with 2 castle sets and some figs? I don't think that's possible if the MOC contains nearly as many pieces as the seller states (7000), although, the imperial soldiers are pretty expensive, too... Still no answer mail from him/her?! Strange that is (Always wanted to use that emoticon ) Benny

1993 LEGO World Expo "Pirates Ahoy" Souvenir Booklet
Vaders_son replied to Mister Phes's topic in LEGO Pirates
There's a YES from me! Always cool to see classic LEGO stuff -
He's from Germany, like me, so I asked him in German. I feel like he's avoiding the question. Don't know tho...

Voted for spencerrassey - Just like the looks of his set best, plus it has some good pieces and very nice Minifigs. Cool models from everyone! Benny

Just found an answer mail in my inbox. Seller only wrote that he has no list of pieces used, built it a very long time ago and will send it built as it is with DHL (for Germany). I sent another mail, asking how he comes to know the piece-count if he built it some very long time ago and if he has any more pictures (no comment on this question in his 1st answer mail tho?) Benny

Paksu, OkyWan, and David Haviland in that order. Good job everyone Looking forward for results Benny

Well I didn't think it were 700 pieces only, but 7000? That's a pretty big amount of pieces. And what made me think is that he uses a lot of castle walls for the buildings and not normal, small gray bricks what would explain the large piece-count. Still waiting for an answer on my question-to-the-seller-mail Guess I'll got to get up early tomorrow and look if I have new mails
-
Wow they are indeed great! What kind of parts are the roofs? And in what set(s) are they included? Really cool idea for roofs
-
It's at the castle-camp-site
-
Well, I already sent him a mail, asking for more pictures and if he has an overview of pieces, or at least a exact count - maybe he just added a 0 too much? It somehow doesn't look like7k pieces to me
-
As I think of it - somehow I am a bit suspicious about the partscount - 7000! bricks? It somehow looks way less? What do you guys think of this and what about the price? If it WERE 7000 bricks it would be well worth it would it not? Best regards, Benny

1st: Your MOC is great, I would not dare to try such a big cruiser I think 2nd: When I saw the first pictures I thought like: "What's the problem with the color? Doesn't look to bad, does it?!" But when I, 3rd, saw the last pic I just had to laugh and say: "OH!.................I guess I understand" But don't let the colors distract you from the design itself! It's really good and I'm very excited to see Rev2! Best regards, Benny
-
Happy Birthday! And of course, lots of cake and Lego! But maybe you should eat the cake only and use the bricks for building Best regards, Benny
-
Jap, good deal Erdbeereis! Have fun building your Pirate MOCs
-
I think it looks good, tho it's a rather easy construction I think. But it says it contains 7000 parts. That would be worth the price I think would it not? Lot's of plates I think. Would buy it if I had the money I think. Benny
-
Well done Whitefang! Your MOC has clearly improved, the forest looks a lot more dense than before I also like your defense mechanisms - they shouldn't just be in the forest in general, but it's a good idea to have the good guys bring them with them for their ambush Good job Best regards, Benny
-
You could post a link now so we can tell you if it was a good deal or not, or the description, don't know Benny
-
Do you have a link? Or a more detailed description of what exactly is sold? Benny And btw - this might be a dangerous question you ask there
-
I think he adds up the price for the pieces. Well, maybe I'm wrong on it Benny

Of which contents should a SW BP generally consist?
Vaders_son replied to Klaus-Dieter's topic in LEGO Star Wars
They'd say: *Hell, who cares about those results?! Benny wants us to make four troopers of the same type!! Let's go produce a BP with 4 501st Clones in it!! Best regards, of course, Benny -
I didn't mean the pic, that's fine I ment the comment

Hey there Walter Kovacs! Those are some really good designs you have here, and one really sees the improvement from your first try to your revised version I like your model very much, it seems to contain not that much parts, mostly large plates, is this correct? The only thing that I don't like too much is the connection between the cockpit and the pylons, they appear to be a little bit bulky...maybe you can find some way to make them look more sexy, uh I mean sleek? Best regards, Benny
