Sorry for asking in this topic, but it's more or less relevant: can someone please measure how much vertical space is there between the 42055's A-model exit conveyor belt and the floor? In other words, what's the tallest thing you can put under the lower belt to catch the stuff that comes out? I'm an idiot and forgot to measure it before I took A-model apart, now I have the B-model ready and no idea if it fits under (it's 21.5 cm tall).

No way, I didn't pay so much for all these tan pieces to use them only once :) -

The chassis isn't brick-built. Only the body is. -

Not really, not with portal axles. That's because the motor is connected to the compressor and only then drives the valve via a clutch gear. So the clutch has nothing to do with the compressor, it only comes after, -
Camper's wheels are about 20% smaller so it looks bad.

I know, I know, I've been building black tanks for quite a while myself. Now my goal is to build one in tan and one in dark green, then I can die happy ;) PS. Yeah, it's a funny feeling to be sitting on the world's largest stock of DBG radar dishes ;)

One day, Tommy, you will discover other Lego colors, too ;)

Here it is, in all its dark azure glory: Pros: - nice shapes and unusual color make it a real eye candy - it's got that groovy 60's feel - instantly recognizable, looks much better than its predecessor, the 10187 set - exceptionally educative build, full of clever solutions (beats even 10248) - great modding material (Volksrods!) - cool new pieces (e.g. the windshield) and tons of pieces in dark azure color - includes superb selection of spare pieces and even spare stickers! Cons: - a few minor details don't look so accurate - almost the same play features as in the 10242 Mini Cooper set - dark azure color seems a bit overused and makes it look like a toy - the dominant color is very rare for Lego and thus may not be very useful - desperately needs chromed pieces

It's an... odd set. It's built in a way that personally really confuses me, like a hollow box of beams, all facing sideways. But it works pretty well, so I guess there's no reason to be picky. Also, I think this set's B-model got me most excited of all. Pros: - decent size and many functions - looks very authentic - all functions work pretty well - cheap source of V2 pneumatic pieces: 2 large cylinders, small pump and new large pump at half the price of 42043 - the B-model looks very interesting - ready to be motorized using the 8293 set Cons: - difficult to control; it's hard to remember which way to switch which valve - pneumatic tubing on the boom looks really messy - would be much more stable with regular road tires - comes with whopping 22 stickers, many of which need to be applied very carefully to look good - the 8293 upgrade is pretty difficult to perform and doesn't really add much

He was right. I discuss this solution in the Impressions part.

I think the radius is acceptable given the size of the tractor, especially in four wheel steering mode.
