  1. No cables were harmed during the building process :D
  2. Thank you very much. Here are the changes on the seat to improve the stabillitiy. The Seat with the 2x4 tile is the modified one.
  3. Thanks, but some points in the cab base and the seat need some optimizing, because it is a bit flimsy during building
  4. Cant Help me, but the windscreen looks to low for me.
  5. In the mail to liebherr i have asked for the dimensions of the boom and they responded very quickly. Unfortunately it needs time to make the drawings available. The boom prototype which i have built was only a guess on dimensions. The tile us indeed a weak point, but unfortunately the spur wheel below would collide with a 2x3 tile.
  6. Thanks! This is probably the moc with the highest density i have ever built. Actually iam waiting for the correct dimensions of the boom, which i have asked from Liebherr. edit: small test
  7. Some Progress in real, even when some parts have the wrong colour or are a replacement to simulate some tiles.
  8. A New Remote for the Liebherr. For the 7th function which will not much used, i switch the channel of one remote.
  9. I think iam guilty to start the third party trend with the third party tires thread, and printed pieces are started on eurobricks bye me too. someone has posted part conepts on eurobricks some years ago, and now some of them are official parts. So i think non purist solutions are only solutions which are not yet used in a official set. But do i use much of them? Not really, even for my liebherr, which beggs for Sbricks to save space, i use power functions as remote. Why? It is possible.
  10. The Next Step is making the undercarriage real.
  11. Question: which time do you need for the first prototype of a flagship set like 42043? Question: does a set has from begin a limited part count or is later in the design process a point where the partcount optimization begins and after this it will classified into a prize range?
  12. Thank you very much. the stability is with small changes acceptable. The moving range not really. it seems i have to play around with the mounting points. Edit:
  13. The boom is really tricky and hopefully not to fragile. If not, a Monoblock boom is what i have to do.
  14. Some Parts have arrived. The dark bluish gray parts are placeholders.
  15. The moving range is far away from to be enough. To be close to the real thing i would need actuators with the double length. And brickbuilt actuators are far to thick. But transport position is possible, so it is ok for me.
  16. Currently iam talking only about the hood. The mudguard of the original seems more narrow and is getting thicker in directin of the middle. Maybe this it is why your hood looks so flat.
  17. I think the hood is to low, or the trackwidth to large. It looks much to wide.
  18. My Experience is in the most times enough to build in ldd. But when it comes to the real build there are often small changes to reduce the part amount or to raise the stiffness.
  19. This feels really good when someone like you praise about mye own work. Thank you very much.
  20. I have replaced a half pin, with a half pin with bar. pretty similar to yours edit: it is wedding Time
  21. Thanks for your suggestion. A idea for the hole under the Bevel gear to hold the slopes not only with one pin?
  22. First Sketch of the undercarriage does somebody knows a part which can replace the half pin and fits in the hole at the bevel gear?
  23. That is no problem, because there is a cover above. Check the earlier ldd screens.
