  1. Yeah processed is smoother, but you will not get a really smooth finish without sanding by yourself. Paint it by yourself. Colouring is a gamble. had a order with two parts which should be red. One was Dark red, the other one was orange. 99.9% of the parts are designed for sls. Only the city bullbars were made for fine detail plastic. But the tolerances in SLS are a gamble on crossholes. +-0,1mm is the difference between throwing through and using a hammer. This is why i try to avoid crossholes. this is to reduce the costs. every single piece costs 1.50€ handling fee, but if you connecting 50 pieces with connecting pieces you pay 1.5€ instead of 75€ handling fee. It is an extreme example, but it shows the principle. exactly. with enough play it would have to much slack in function. I have no experience with multijetfusion or SLA. I use SLS because it is rocksolid with a minimum wallthickness. This is my decission. Interlocking pieces are not good for processing and colouring.
  2. Insert a stop inside of the Diff isn't possible because the big diff gear can not snap into its place.
  3. I will tomorrow disassemble my Hummer and Test it.
  4. yes, the Axle can go through the complete differential.
  5. Sorry, I only have the electronics in the picture above. I have them from Cada itself and i have to ask if i have the permit to share them. btw, Please, don't make full quotes.
  6. Lego would never design and publish a set within a single quarter of the year. Even Cada needs roundabout a half year to bring my model to the market.
  7. I guess we have to wait till the first review to be sure about its length
  8. Has someone else spotted the 3x11 Frame under the cockpit?
  9. It uses some exclusive Cada parts, so i guess it would rejected in rebrickable, but the build isnt to complex.
  10. Maybe, but the humvee is made like the old model team sets. A 5x7 frame would make big changes neccessary. My actual solution is solid and doestnt tend to skip, even in hard direction changes.
  11. with the old diff the diff bends away from the 20 tooth, in the humvee case the thin 20tooth can bend away and slip.
  12. Cada has the new diff type with little changes in Design. For example the Axle can go through. I saw it first in the Humvee, but the use of a half 20z Bevel Gear makes it pointless. This was one of the Points i have changed. https://bricksafe.com/pages/efferman/hummer-h1-station-wagon
  13. The test build has started and as always are all parts, which are not in the own stock, in the missing order. Two bugs are found, but overall it does work.
  14. Cada is a Chinese manufacturer of Sets made of liftarms and bricks. They have many unique parts, and even the 2 long pins have a different design, to avoid a exact copy of the lego design. Even lego is using now the flipflop beams, slightly modified, from cada in 11 and 15 modules. Cada doesnt make copys of Lego Sets or mocs and works together with some Moccers to bring their ideas to the market. The quality is quite good, but the friction in the Crossaxle connectors is sometimes a little to low.
  15. oops, corrected. Btw, all of them are very Usefull. So I use many of them in my upcoming Cada Sets Yes the cada clutches are harder than the linear clutches from Lego. A little bit to stiff i think.
  16. I have bought Sets and got a few free Sets from Cada to make my Testbuilds. Cada has a very small spare part section on their online shop, but actually no flip flop beams or beams with pins at the end. The G5 from Cada for example is a very good partspack if you need special parts. Bricksafe Cada .part Edit: A link to the instruction page to find the part lists. G5 instruction with part list Unique parts contained in the Humvee. Cada electronics. For the upcoming Buggy motor i have no file.
