Oh, do tell? Unvote: Eric Foster (Palathadric) I never doubted you for a moment, honey! Yes, but he also hammered Irene if I remember right and started the lynch on Russel. Fair enough - I didn't think about that, but it does clear up both Eric and Christopher. At this point it's hard to pick anyone else to vote for! Pretty much everyone left has voted off scum at least two days of three; nothing is popping out to me on the voting pattern. Closest thing is Gregory McHenry, so I guess I'll do the revenge vote thing for now. Vote: Gregory McHenry (Lady K) Somebody let me know if I've missed something and Greg has been cleared....

I don't see any reason why the Eric isn't scum from this; while it's probably not advisable for the scum to be so obvious, doing so that early in the game might be just the kind of gutsy move they would think made sense. Our Day One was a pretty quiet one compared to some I've participated in, and maybe that's why. I don't have a problem voting for someone else if more information emerges, but here's my vote to start today. Vote: Eric Foster (Palathadric) Sorry honey, I wub wub wub wub you but you seem pretty scummy!

Heroica RPG - Unlimited Quest: Fields of Glory
StickFig replied to Sandy's topic in The Heroica Archive
Matthias disappears momentarily as a deluge of coins buries the gnome until only his cannon pokes up out of the pile, but he digs himself out and very rapidly (and incredulously) counts every coin into his pouch. "Thanks!" is all the flustered druid can muster. Realizing that the party is waiting for his input, he nods in acquiescence to Emorith. -

Matthias heals himself, woozy from the rapid bleeding and healing and bleeding again. -
Heh, TPRU, do you think there's a mole in the town block? Two people have not voted today. What are you waiting for? Also, DLL and JJP, your continued insistence on candidates that no one else seems to suspect is beginning to look out of place.

Doesn't the first aid kit remove all negative effects anyway? Why would we need to use a neutralizer? -
This being Heroica, you can have her go Paladin for a quest and decide she just doesn't care about others enough and switch her to Black Knight, or you can have her play a Black Knight for a quest and the terror of her own evil drives her back to the path of light and she changes to Paladin... you could even do the Arthur the Weather Dragoon thing and just switch back and forth and back and forth....

Matthias begins to murmur a healing prayer for himself and Berthadhiell, but seeing the latter open her First Aid Kit, the druid decides to repeat his attack instead. -
I think I missed the 24-hour mark from my last post by a few hours; my apologies. Just finished a 16-hour day at work and I have no brain cells left. From what I can tell, I like my current vote, although it does ping me that Eugene wants to ask us why no one is voting against Ace while his vote is on Russell, and his posts all seem very... blandly aligned with the majority sentiment. Or I might just be tired. I'll see you all tomorrow - unless someone gets lynched first.

Really? This is what you think? I was leaning towards Ace, based on other people's suspicions, until you pointed this out. And I never did figure out the suspicion against Greg. Plenty of people (including Pamela, as I pointed out yesterday) were ambivalent on the Brian lynch. This is the most interesting story of today. I will Vote: Eric Foster (Palathadric) for now because I want to hear something from him on this matter as well, and hey, voting is open! Yes, were we lucky enough to find (another) scum? Who has been cleared? Is anyone investigating anyone? I concur with Al: what are you talking about, Wanda?

Tamo: defense noted. Not accepted, exactly, but noted. I do seem to remember you being ...conciliatory? or perhaps less agressive? in past Day Ones, so, Unvote: Pamela Cooper (Tamamono) Alright, will someone please explain to me why we're all so ready to trust a guy that most of us thought was scum yesterday, just because he claimed to be the watcher (which turned out to be wrong, pending defense from the BOB)? Did I miss something? Was TPRU investigated? Is he cleared? If his cop claim is true, I don't have a problem voting off someone who's been investigated and turned up as scum, but I've watched TPRU pull off some crazy scum stunts before and I don't have much reason to believe this isn't one of them. Someone please speak up if he's been cleared, but no apologies for meta-gaming here. Here's what I want: 1) TPRU investigated, or the results if it's already happened 2) Whoever was investigated last night to come forward (I assume the investigator has spoken to you by now via PM since you're confirmed town) 3) The BOB to tell us whether TPRU's role mix-up was real and not a scum gambit 4) The real watcher to quit talking to unconfirmed people

Gah - voting is already open! But I agree; here's another option to consider, someone who was defending Brian from the get-go on Day One.... kind of circumspect, but I would expect a player of his experience to be able to defend his scum buddies without drawing too much attention. Ok, now that Al Cooper has responded to our concerns, I feel less worried about him and more about Brian Barnes. I believe I will have one more chance to get on and post, so I'm going to swap my vote now. If we need my vote to move for a lynch later, so be it, but here's who I think is the scummiest: Unvote: Al Cooper (TinyPiesRUs) Vote: Brian Barnes (Shadows)

Matthias shrugs to Alderflask, indicating he has no preference for their next location, and nods to Emorith, having no real idea about what's possible but more than willing to go along for the ride. -
I'm really surprised that some of you are actually following on my poke vote for Pirate Dave Wanda. It was a ridiculous vote - so ridiculous that Wanda didn't even acknowledge it - and yet here some of you followed it when there are better candidates around. Unvote: Wanda Barnes (Piratedave84) Vote: Al Cooper (TinyPiesRUs) It's been long enough; Mr. Cooper jumped on the first lynch candidate available without giving reasons and hasn't said anything since (and he didn't say anything before that either).

Yeah, yeah, people who vote quick, definitely scum... people who vote second, obviously scum... people who take forever to vote, no way they're not scum... I think I'll knock out two more things that should be on the Day 1 list: voting for someone with the fewest posts (there are four of you) and voting for Pirate Dave. Vote: Wanda Barnes (Piratedave84) People will probably accuse me of being scum for it, and I'll probably change it later if someone makes a good case against someone, and people will probably say that's suspicious too. Hooray Mafia!

Aww yiss, 20 gold. The cannon booms, and so does Matthias' deep laugh, if in a tiny way. It's difficult to describe a tiny deep giggle. In any case, the gnome druid expressed his mirth, then turned to nurture Darksten, waving the Scepter of Divine Affinity in the Assassin's direction and suppressing a further giggle at the sight of a dead undead still attached to the man's leg. > Matthias: Nurture (Scepter) vs. Darksten -
Yeah, but I hate Day One hahaha. We seem to have hit all the Day One high points already though, bravo all around. No-lynch: check. Analyze the pictures: should be a few days later, but check. Fluff RP: check (and no, this is not to incriminate Dragonfire just happened to be the post that was up when I hit MultiQuote). "Oakiest of the Oaks" claim: check. Someone trusting Def/Tamo just because they're Def and Tamo: check. I don't have any idea who anybody is but me, and I'm me... just need to get this over with so we can start the real analysis.
