  1. WOW!! This is incredible! SO much orange What impresses me most actually is it is held up with the little clear blasters and it is "free suspending" like the "real" podracers. Excellent job.
  2. No problem! I'd be flattered Send him a link to my flikr I think I have some other stuff in there too The hardest thing to make about them is waiting for all of the parts to come in from bricklink and other sources
  3. Hey everyone, I finally had the chance to finish some of my 21st Nova this weekend and wanted to share. Pauldrons and wastecapes from MMCB and Decals from Fine Clonier. Bacara helmet is from Arealight of course I am pretty happy with the outcome, minus a few scratches on some of the decals when I applied them and the painting on the Marine helmets is not 100% clean as I had originally wanted. The red is also not as dark as what I wanted but overall I am pretty happy with these guys. DSCF0820 by DanSZ15, on Flickr DSCF0817 by DanSZ15, on Flickr
  4. Oh wow, that TIE looks great. The new astro is pretty cool as well. What drives me nuts is the summer 2011 wave is released just now and I already don't care, I am excited for 2012 . I am interested to see what they end up coming out with. My guess is there will be some great sets for Phantom Menace.
  5. That is impressive it only took two months. That is an incredible castle, the design is amazing. Time for you to get some rest, you deserve it!
  6. Good job by Lego, especially as Warner continues to crank out movies, there will be Legos to supplement it. Excellent financial decision. I am excited to see the sets and parts that come out of these new lines.
  7. I really don't like the Ninjago theme, but this set is pretty awesome. I actually hope I come across it some how, it is a must buy because I think the little dragon has an excellent design and it is an easy way to get a red ninja figure. I think it could be the coloring, but something about this tiny set really does it for me.
  8. I think this is the perfect start to a major, excellent historic MOC. I would beef up the castle area a bit and really showcase your skills, I think this MOC has the potential to be something really really neat.
  9. This looks like a great project, filospinato. This was one of the scenes I wish TLG covered in one of their lines from ep 2. I am excited to see this one, and the Reek will be pretty cool as well. Great job reverse engineering this as well.
  10. Thanks for the excellent review! This set has been on the top of my wants list for months now and the more I see it in other countries the more jealous I get m]. I wish there were Wolffepack troopers in a battlepack, they are pretty cool figures, and I am beginning to like how TLG seems to be boosting the design and detail on the clones (hopes for leg printing on all figs). This is certainly a must get, awesome set. Thanks!
  11. Excellent review MB. Thanks for sharing. It really does the set justice. This is one of the few expensive/high end Lego sets I have bought and not been disappointed with in the Star Wars series. The tank is alot of fun for kids and adults, and I think it makes a great centerpiece of any SW collection. I like it alot more than the EP III tank too, I think TLG did alot better with the wheels and lines of the vehicle compared to the old one.
  12. This looks great, the detail is awesome. I love the new head for IG-88 and Dengar. I think Lego hit a home run with this one, very cool. Too bad it's so expensive but that was to be seen.
  13. Clone Wars the series on TV now. This is a great MOC capturing the feeling of the Delta B. I think you did a great job. In ATOC he had the Delta 7 which had the droid head wired in on the left of the pilot.
  14. +1 for airsoft again, great trader.
  15. Thanks for another trade!

  16. I would have to agree. When I look at SW sets, or any Lego sets in general this one and the pod racer bucket stick out as an attempt by the company to capture another market or create demand for a new product. Not my thing, I would rather have imagined this as a kid or enjoy the versatility of better pieces or figures as an adult.
  17. This is great, excellent job on the mech design. It looks pretty great in terms of "realistic" features. One of the best wheels I have seen! Thanks for sharing.
  18. Thanks for the great review. IMHO I think this was the time period TLG had the best set designs in terms of playability because it took imagination to get the most out of these sets. They really do bring nostalgia!
  19. Excellent job on this UCS! This is by far my favorite ship in Star Wars and this is a great interpretation. The only thing I would suggest as mentioned before would be to look into alternatives for cockpits or cockpit design, it seems a bit off with the size of the nose. Other than that, great work.
  20. I'm going to begin picking up my jaw from the floor... All I said when I saw this was an elongated "what..." Excellent work this is one of the best anything's I have ever seen with respect to the way you executed a complicated shape of the building perfectly. Nice nice NICE work! I love this MOC.
  21. I thought the same thing! I was thinking this is pretty neat, good scenery but the underground part just seems so realistic and the exact type of place the wolfpack would inhabit. This is really too cool, great use of the gorilla suit guy's head on the captured night. Excellent work!
  22. Thanks for the great review! I have to say, I cannot wait for this set to be released in the US. Other than the incredible frigate, this is my most anticipated set this summer. I do like the Geonosian figure though. I think it looks really accurate to the CW series, so IMHO Lego did a good job with him. Ki-Adi though is rough, I don't think it portrays him well at all but that's just me.
  23. From a business perspective, I think it all depends on the success of the line. If it makes sense for TLG to continue POTC due to financial reasons, they may continue to create years of waves. Although classic pirate will never go away and will eventually come back, I think it is reliant on the success of POTC. Edit: I have been to many stores lately and it appears either POTC is well stocked or people are not buying them. This does not surprise me as a few mentioned before but the retail on these sets is quite high, and has even kept me from picking up more than one.
  24. Great review, I can't wait until I can find these in stores. Thanks for posting this! I think this is an OK set, nothing special in terms of the pieces but the figs are amazing.
  25. Wow, both of these are really great. The coloring scheme is perfect for the two ships and I think you did it perfectly. They do not look overdone or anything, literally perfect. Excellent job.
