  1. It was posted under the #legoleaks hashtag but it seems to have been removed now. For those that missed it, the two minifigures were of the center Knight with his back turned and the one on the far right. The second Knight on the left is the one with the head leak a week or so back.
  2. Two new Knight of Ren minifigures have shown up on Instagram. One has a pretty cool new helmet similar to Kylo Ren's while the other reminds me of the Ringwraiths from LOTR but with a new hood piece. Both are different from the head that leaked earlier so there will be at least three different knights for the first wave. Hopefully we'll see all six.
  3. Looks much better than last year's Calendar. The exclusive Luke figure looks great and I like the design of the Christmas themed Gonk Droid. The Porg doesn't look as lazy as I thought it would, the inclusion of the Mynock is unexpected but appreciated and the five generic troops/pilots are always useful.
  4. Same here. I've been wanting it updated for a while now. The buildable figure of Obi-Wan used nougat for the hair color and it looks so much more accurate than the dark orange that the minifigures use.
  5. I'd love to see Padme included but I'm not getting my hopes up. At that price range it seems like the type of set that will focus on play functions and the actual participants of the duel above anything else. She doesn't seem to fare as well as the other main heroes with set inclusions either, especially compared to other female characters like Leia and Rey. This year's Podracer is the first appearance she's made in 6 years and prior to that there was an even bigger 12 year absence between 1999-2011. At the very least I'm hoping Anakin and Obi-Wan have been notably updated since their last appearance. Their previous figures were good for the time but they both could be made to look more accurate by today's standards.
  6. The Bantha is coming as part of a Microfighter set which isn't quite the same as getting a proper figure of one.
  7. The Mandalorian torso looks cool. Can't wait to see the complete figure. Glad there will also be at least one Knight of Ren coming in the Episode 9 wave.
  8. 1350 pieces. Its higher than the 2015 Force Awakens model (1329 pieces) but less than the 2018 Solo version (1414 pieces)
  9. Yeah pretty much. They're the new Death Trooper/Praetorian Guard for Episode 9. https://www.starwars.com/news/sith-trooper-star-wars-the-rise-of-skywalker-sdcc-2019 Hasbo, Hot Toys, Funko Pops, hats, shirts, pins, mugs, backpacks, kids costumes, trading cards, bookmarks... you name it. Gotta sell that merchandise!
  10. Yeah this is what I was getting at. The roof hatch along with the curved corner bricks gave the 2015-16 cockpits a smooth rounded shape that the newer ones lack. The builds on the Solo and Resistance cockpits look too jagged and blocky.
  11. I don't think the Star Wars sets are that bad compared to other Lego themes. The only ones I find to be a bit outdated are the recent TIE Fighters. The 2015-2016 models had smooth rounded designs but the newer models from Solo and Resistance have regressed back to the old blocky builds.
  12. The changes are pretty minor. The design of the blue plating and size of the "scope eye" were updated on the Dagobah figure, but the standard R2-D2 was still using the old head up until now. The 2020 version has tweaked the printing to match the Dagobah proportions.
  13. Rebelscum has the pics in higher resolution. Didn't notice before that the Tusken Raider is a new variant rather than a repeat figure while R2's head print has been slightly updated.
  14. The Landspeeder is a pass. Poncho Luke is cool but not enough to buy another version of the set and the overall build looks too long and stretched to me. It also feels like a missed opportunity to include something new and different like Beru, Garindan or a molded Bantha. Instead its just more of the same. I really like Obi-Wan's hut though. Its a scene that hasn't been done before and more Tatooine architecture is always welcome.
  15. Why would Lego be done? There's nothing to indicate the 2018 sets sold any worse than usual and the DC Superheroes theme has been alternating back and forth between Batman sets and Justice League ones for a while now.
  16. While a micro figure would be nice, replacing her helmet with the new Firefly/Ant-Man piece is a bigger priority for me.
  17. I didn't even notice Rescue's face print was reused from another character. The likeness in the unmasked pic is spot on and resembles Pepper even better than the Iron Man 3 minifigure did.
  18. Glad to hear more sets are on the way. The helicopter isn't anything special but I like the mini Leviathan build and the inclusion of the Stark Gauntlet. Rescue is definitely the highlight though. The colors really stand out on her and the new Pepper face print looks great! Combining the Harry Potter wands with the lightsaber hilts for Black Widow's batons is also a pretty creative move.
  19. It wouldn't surprise me if the new First Order Shuttle is a remake of the 2015 set. Both sets do have the same piece count at 1005 parts.
  20. Splitting up the speeders into two sets is a good idea and I like the inclusion of Captain Typho but I still think Padme should be based on her senator costume from the start of the film. A nightgown minifigure would be pretty boring.
  21. I'd be happy with the new movie just getting a single remake of the Mystery Machine. I missed the original set and it could be nice way to get the whole gang at once much like Ghostbusters did with the two Ecto-1 sets.
  22. Pretty awesome little set. It perfectly captures the look and mood of Gotham City. Definitely going to have to build this one.
  23. I echo the disappointment of this year's exclusive. Its a great little set that blows away the majority of this year's underwhelming retail lineup. Carol's new costume also looks pretty awesome.
  24. Looks like the team behind the 90s X-Men animated series is pitching a revival to Disney. https://www.cbr.com/x-men-animated-series-team-approach-disney/ I'd love to see this show make a comeback. Aside from being one of the best adaptions of the X-Men it would be a great opportunity to get some tie-in sets before they start appearing in the MCU. The 90s costumes also remain my favorite look for a lot of the characters.
  25. Here's a better look at the new version of Poe:
