Not entirely sure if the next season will premiere this Sat. in the U.S, the commercial caught me off guard. If it airs next commercial break, I will be sure to catch the details.

According to a commercial I just saw on Cartoon Network, this Saturday the last 4 episodes of season 2 will air as a marathon that will lead up to the new season. Its starts at 11:00A.M. Not entirely sure if it will just be a sneak peak or if it will premiere this Saturday

I'm all for battle packs with standard white clone troopers, phase 1 and 2. I imagine our best bet of getting white clone troopers would be clone wars based sets but we do got a safe bet with buying multiples of micro fighters turbo tanks.

Definitely agree with you on environment based sets. The prison cell in the epic dragon battle was weak in structure and the last temple was very crammed together.

Tried that, unfortunately the torso printing doesn't connect well with the robe tips on the leg piece and the gold and silver colors tend to clash, but really its not all that noticeable.

Hm, not shocking the set definitely lacks luster, but nothing cant be modified.

An X-Wing with a Yoda hutt set is definitely overdue. I actually like the 2013 Yoda fig, its not great in pictures, but having it in your hands makes a huge difference. The yoda hutt I would think would be released in early 2015 since it appears LEGO is basing there sets by movie count.

I imagine wave 2 of rebooted, if we get one, would consist of location based sets(temples, Overborg tower, etc.), and maybe some vehicles for the Nya or the nindroids. Just speculating since all the ninja in this wave have vehicles or mechs, I cant imagine how much more they could make. As for the visual dictionary, once again if we get one, it could include a new Nya fig.

Since everyone is discussing Tie-fighters and what not, I'm thinking LEGO should be remaking a Tie-Advanced with Darth Vader and an X-Wing fighter with Luke, since after this year, we should be entering the OT sets. I would imagine they would remake some fan favorites, personally I would love to see a remake of the Mos-Eisley cantina set with new Chewbacca and Greedo.

For a character that has been the most important being in the Ninjago universe, it seems very odd that Lloyd is "touring" Ninjago during the revival of the Overlord. Just speculation, but what if he isn't touring, but rather he is missing. The mechdragon has a prison cell that is also some sort of power core that uses Lloyd's powers for energy/power etc. The 2014 teaser, trailer, character vids, and now books have Lloyd missing. His only appearance so far has been in the most valuable sets the Overborg Attack and the Nindroid Mechdragon. This is all just speculation but this mystery has got me hooked. Definitely got my fingers crossed for a Phantom ninja fig.

Same here, the footage looks like its taken out of context and made to appear that Nya has the "hot's" for Cole. Personally I prefer the relationship Nya and Jay already have but I can see the show taking that route with the characters. From my knowledge on the show, there has been no official premiere date news except for that it will air in 2014. I imagine the show will start by early to mid-January since Chima has its season finale in December. Point is you got time to watch season 1 without rush.

Its mainly Nya and other girls admiring a hologram of Cole that surrounded by hearts, then Nya being impressed by Cole's physical strength when he lifted some kids on each arm while posing and the final bit has Cole reading a comic book while Nya enters the room and drops all the magazines/books she was carrying. What's odd is that I purchased the sets earlier this week on Weds.

That's strange that Target employees have been rejecting customers of Ninjago sets. Here in Southern California Target I managed to pick up the Thunder Raider and Overborg attack sets without any problems.

I own the Bravenwolf titan set, and its plastic is great quality. Don't let the glossy look fool you, so far it has proven its durability. P.S. I love the show, its the only thing I wake up early for on Saturdays.

Its great to see samurai x/Nya is coming back. If TLG does remake her, what I'm curious about is whether she will be thrown into a random set or will she be in her own personal vehicle/mech.

From the look of the new website, Ninjago really got uprgraded, with there character bio's, product displays etc. TLG is really investing in this wave and that makes me quite glad. I mean wow they really impressed me, new teaser trailer and we finaly got news on the limited edition destructoid set.

For Kamino I would much prefer sets based on the season 3, correct if I am wrong, intro episodes with those squid-like walkers that carried the aqua droids.

Just to clarify, the mechdragon commercial was aired on television. From what I have searched I have yet to find the commercial on the web.

Just saw the mechdragon and ninja copter commercial on Cartoon Network. Looks pretty awesome, it favored the mechdragon since it destroyed the ninja copter at the end and then a last shot had Zane slamming his techno blade into the mechdragon.

As much as I would love commander Bacara and a movie based Ki-Adi-Mundi, LEGO is already releasing a tri-droid with 212th battalion troopers. But who knows, I never thought they would make a phase 2 Gree, and there he is, a childhood dream come true.

Just out of curiosity, was this a rumor, info leak, or LEGO reveal. Personally I don't care much for a Sandcrawler as I would for a Cloud City set.

A Nya fig being included in a 2014 set has already been discussed to an extent since there has not been any official news, reveals or hints that LEGO will be releasing a Nya fig in 2014. Personally I have my doubts that they will release another Nya for a while especially since we now have an additional female character, Pixal. I could be wrong though, I love to have a new Nya fig.

I agree with you on the micro-fighters. Personally I just see them as a parts bag, which is great for custom builds or mocs, but as a toy for children, its not appealing at all.

I have feeling the Hover hunter's blade spins when you push it. If this is the case, wow stupid Brickshow, 2/3rds of this vid is that guy just talking instead of actually showing the set and its functions. Aside from my rant, my ToysRus in Southern California has December/2014 sets. All except the Destructoid set.
