  1. Thanks for the advice guys. I'm working on it right now.
  2. Looks great! You could fill up that whole with a simple stud, or get a black one of these> and cut it exactly at the hinge part and slide bar side first in. It will hold firmly.
  3. I want to make a eye catching stand for my Aeronaut moc, since its held by a rather simple and grued one right now. I was instantly thinking of a couple of floating rocks. I already searched a lot of pictures as reference material, made the plants and all other stuff I want to put on it. But when I start stacking stuff together it just doesn't seem to work and look like it should. So is there a good method to make a floating rock? A technique to create nice looking formations?
  4. Thanks, you're right!
  5. Welkom / welcome and enjoy the boards!
  6. Nice storage compartments, also nice to see lights on this build. But I miss some lights on top though.
  7. Thanks, it was hard color to work with. Everything seemed too 'light' next to it.
  8. Love the cutaway section, maybe you should add some more?
  9. I really wanted to make something 'steamy' for a while now, but didn't want to stick to the obvious color scheme. So ladies and gentlemen, boys and girls... I present to you; Aeronaut. A personal air levitation transport automaton device. Aeronaut; a hoverboard inspired by 'Around The World In 80 Days'. FlickR Gallery, also a Put Your Brick Where Your Mouth is TWO contest entry. Comments and critisiscm welcome.
  10. No idea, sounds fun to go to though.
  11. Thanks mate! Just wait till you see my upcoming steamy moc... Compared this is a little baby engine.
  12. Welcome and enjoy the boards. Bricklink will get you those missing men, and for a reasonable price as well.
  13. Welcome / welkom and enjoy the boards! Nice to see a fellow Dutchie joining.
  14. Welcome and enjoy the boards. Weird that they don't sell any Lego over there, it sounds plausible. Not even in big department stores in Moscow? Your link to the LDD pic's isn't working for me. 'In Soviet Russia, Lego builds YOU!'
  15. Great! I read the former issues, nice to read a new one.
  16. I usually make a design and get it print... Still looking for those official Paul Frank Lego shirts though. These are great> redbubble shirts.
  17. Haha, as long as he listens... Thanks! I tried to give it well 'integrated system' feel to it. I'm bringing sexy back. Haha, I thought the same thing about those pieces, it looks like a small fuel cannister of some sort. The figure just seems to work, especially the helmet + visor combo, they are just made for each other.
  18. Nice! Too bad TLG doesn't make a whole lot nice looking grown up t-shirts. Just like this one.
  19. Yep, I have to admit I've got a new addiction... Hoverboards! Aegis; a neo-classic space hoverboard inspired by 'Moon'. FlickR Gallery Comments and critisiscm welcome.
  20. Welkom / welcome and enjoy the boards.
  21. Welcome and enjoy the boards! Hope your recovery went well, at least you're back in touch with Lego again.
  22. That's really neat, you used this tech before in one of your other builds. You must have a whole lot of hands...
  23. Welcome and enjoy the boards. I've been to Inverness when I was backpacking through Scotland.
  24. welcome and enjoy the boards.
