What're your favorite and least favorite Star Wars minifigures?
Smack replied to Darthking623's topic in LEGO Star Wars
I am guessing this is an ok topic to bump because of the relevance but if I had to pick a favorite minifig it would have to be the ARF trooper at this point. Despite the fact that I am an OT fan first the helmet mold of the fig is the best I have seen yet and is the most accurate that TLG has made to this point. (i know the stormtrooper and scout trooper are pretty accurate but the ARF is the win on this) -
What other SW "Battle Packs" would you like to see?
Smack replied to BearHeart's topic in LEGO Star Wars
Honestly I think we see Endor Battle Packs for both rebels (commandos and ewoks) and the Empire (scout troopers and officers) in 2012. The battle packs seem to alternate between OT and the Clone Wars and next year would be the OT year, especially with 2013 being the 30th anniversary of ROTJ. Just my 2 cents. -
Brilliant mecha you have built Rook. I also wonder how study it is. Can it stand on it's own? Regardless it is a great addition to the series?? of MOC's you have built recently.
-
Just saw this and had to say I love the organic look of your latest ship MOC's. Love the trans black cockpit pieces. Looks almost like a millipede. Keep up with the fantastic MOC's!
-
The awesomeness of this build is blinding! Can't add to what everyone else is has said as this is a example of what an expert MOC'er can do. Perfectly named ship as well. Do you have MOC slaves that help you build? It seems like you have a MOC a day lately.

Didn't read that as this can be a difficult thread to follow at times, Brickdoctor. I was thinking out of the box as to what the fig might be and she popped in my head. R2 in pink clothes, huh? Yeah I guess that would count.
-
I was following the discussion on the exclusive fig in the book and noticed someone quoted a statement about the fig never being in anything Star Wars ever and got to thinking, what if it is the pink astromech R2 KT I think it was called. I can't quite recall where I saw the fig but it was named after a sick girl I think??? If I am correct it would be an incredible tribute to said sick person.
-
So I was catching up on the rumors and saw the new book, and the subsequent conversation about the exclusive fig. What about a Queen Amidala fig as they look to be releasing the flesh Padme fig in the Sith Infiltrator?

Feedback on BrickArms Advanced Sterling Design Requested
Smack replied to the enigma that is badger's topic in LEGO Star Wars
All I have to say is I would buy both of them as they are both beautifully crafted in my opinion. Please ask for the Han Solo blaster to be mass produced as well! -
I do not know if the Home One rumor is true for the August wave but if it is I would wager that it might be a continuation of the midi line of ships. A UCS would be a sight to behold but a system set does not seem like a possibility IMHO.
-
If I may this is the 2011 Picture and Rumor thread is it not? I am not trying to be argumentative but if we shouldn't talk about the pics then where can we talk about them?
-
Actually I was just informing those who were conerned that all the Mando figs would be the same. I personally like the idea of having four generic Mandos. Sorry about that Kim T, I was just relaying info to the masses. I didn't think it would be a big deal.
-
I just looked at Skafte's Flickr link and two of the Mandos torso's have zero printing. This may leave the possibility that there will be some variance in the figs in the BP.

Another fantastic creation Mr. Rook! Your imagination and creativity never cease to amaze. The crossbow opening was quite the suprise. Keep up the good work & I look forward to next months MOC!
-
I can't believe I missed this. Another great MOD/MOC Kieldaman! The color scheme and sticker are great as well as your minifigs. Fits well with your ARC Gunship. Can't wait to see your next creation sir!
-
As a big fan of the asymmetrical starship I am also a big fan of your build. the trans red and black look great together. I hope you do well in the contest.
-
An absolute brillant piece of work. This IMHO is your best HP work to date. I personnaly can't wait to see the whole layout togther. It will be the talk of EB and front-paged for sure. Looking forward to your next work!

I think that everyone has already posted most of the words I would use to describe this. An absolute masterpiece. Your time and effort is much appreciated and thanks for showing us this work of Lego art.

Post your general LEGO Star Wars questions here
Smack replied to XimenaPaulina's topic in LEGO Star Wars
IMHO I think that if you like the set, have the $, and want to build your army, then that is a set you should absolutely buy. I do not own the set as it is a bit pricey for me, but I do think it is one of Lego's better made SW sets. Go ahead and buy it my friend. It seems you have already made up your mind anyway. -
This is absolutley spectacular!!! Top to bottom, left to right, all around brilliant. There is soooo much detail in this I wouldn't know where to begin. This might be my favorite creation of yours, sir. Please keep up the amazing work and I can't wait for your next work!

This is one sweet ride AC! I like the engines and the cockpit area, and boy do I the chrome! I also like the pic of the bounty holding station, but I was wondering if you had any more interior pics. I went on the link and did not see any.
-
I have to say this is one freaking sweet build! I love all the detail you packed in and there are some very interesting and smart techniques used. Kinda makes me want to build one of my own.
-
Yes!!! I feel like a kid on Christmas Eve! AC if you are moving into the OT that is the best present ever! I'm pretty sure that we will all be waiting for! I think I used an excalmation point on every sentence! Ok so I am pretty excited about about your new MOC.
-
Keil you have done it again sir. This is a very accurate representation IMHO. The ARC troopers look great and very much like the characters in the first series. The med bay is great as is the rancor sticker (another of yours I would wager). I remember watching this portion of the cartoon and falling in love with this ship and the ARC's. Thanks for your contribution to the Star Wars I want to see in Lego!

This to me is both special and interesting! I really like the angles of the build, the window technique, and the figures (especially the assassin). Is there any interior in the tower?
