The T 47 is very good - better than the TLG version IMO. I do think it is almost to smooth, though. They looked rather beat up in Empire and some greebles would make it that much better. The Atgar cannon is absolutely brilliant, very good work!

Being that this is my birth sign it might be my favorite MOC! The fighter really does bear a strong relemblence to the sign of Cancer. My favorites are the cockpit which I absolutely love and the engines. Stupid question time though - what is the rectangular object in the pic showing the engines?

Review: 852922 Dragon Knight's Battle Pack
Smack replied to metalandi's topic in LEGO Historic Themes
I like and 100% agree with Sirens-of-Titan on his purchasing idea. The extras and especially the horses convince me that the BP's are not necessary - and nothing but an inferior product. -
Agreed! This is a wonderful MOC that deserves some props. I especially like the pulpit area both inside and out. Here's hoping it gets put on the front page! Keep up the good work!

Well since it was bumped I'd like to say what a beautiful MOC I think this is (even if it is copied ) I love the snot nose (haha) and the overall look of the ship & the cockpit is really nice as well.

Whung you are truely a pimp among Bothan spies! I have (as well as everyone else) been watching this thread for what seems like forever hoping for new pics a you %100 deliver! The AT AT is a must have as I did not get the other two and I will have to get that second job I always wanted for the Shuttle. It looks huge! I wonder what it would look like next to the UCS Falcon?

I think this magnet pack shows that there is a possibility that there could be a Aalya Secura/Cad Bane pack in the future, which would be a much more affordable way to get those figs as opposed to a much more expensive set. Good looking out by Lego in these hard economic times IMO.

Will do sir! I like the overall design as it reminds me of a church/monestary, which is perfect for the MOC. And it might be weird to say but I also like what appear to be stained glass windows? in the back. I also like the chaos of the scene, with the jedi being greatly outnumbered. I have to ask if the roof is a singular unit or if it is brick-built. I will study more and get back to you if more catches my eye.

Big ups to Rick for the win in the contest. Also, I would like to thank all the people who didn't vote for me confirming that I am truly not funny at all. Oh well I won't quit my day job I guess

Holy cow!!! Yet another (sigh) brilliant MOC from you sir! I feel like a broken record typing about your work. It is getting so boring giving you well deserved accolades (sigh). Truly inspirational MOC, one of your best IMO. Please keep giving us more of these wonderful creations.

Thanks for the great review Brickster! I have been looking to expand my Lego collection and this was very helpful, so helpful in fact that I purchased my first Kingdom/Castle set - this one! I really like it and the parts should be very useful for MOCs. Thanks again and keep up the good work!

I like the idea for the Room of Requirement and the 2nd floor girls bathroom. The entrance to the CoS would be a fun build I think. Don't know if this has been mentioned yet but what about the Ministry of Magic as a set?
-
Big, brilliant, beautiful, bombastic, bar-none a fantastic MOC!!! (that was all the descriptive b words I could think of) The sheer size and attention to detail is staggering! (I guess I moved on to s now :-) Truly a masterpiece IMHO!
-
I really enjoyed looking at this MOC! I have to agree with everyone about the generator. It is IMO a brilliant design. I hope you do well in the contest!

The table idea is actually pretty cool. I think a good idea would be to make a scene from one of the movies. The blaster fight in Mos Eisely or Death Star escape from A New Hope or the Bespin landing would be a really cool looking conversation piece.

My votes went for Official sets and MOCs (trying), ships/vehicles, (want to expand to vigs), and Licensed and Adventure. Really trying to expand my Lego horizons though, so this will probably change at some point.
-
Another fantastic MOC from you sir. Lego should hire you for MOCing Bignettes for all the new Star Wars Lego that are released. I think it would sell that many more!
-
Thanks for sharing this MOC Swash Buckler! This IMO is a very accurate minifig scale MOC. I love that you used the bley and how you designated Wedge's X-wing. A squadron would look great but this is a great representation of an iconic starship. I hope that if Lego releases another X-wing they take a look at yours as a design!

I wouldn't think the summer sets would be released until August, at least at the Lego store or Lego.com. Toys R Us will have some of the sets early (late July) but they will be at jacked up prices. Us American types will either have to shop internationally or sit around and wait for 2 more months. Gah I hate waiting!

Thanks so much for the review CopMike! & thanks for showing the whole family together. This is another must get for me if at all possible. Would have been nice with the CC Boba markings but I still want one!
-
So I was wondering if anyone had any updates on how the fig would be distributed. I am extremely interested in knowing any new info cause I really really want one!!!!!
-
Well I personally hope that means more PoP sets to come!!! Since you did see the movie did you have any inspiration for MOC's or did any scenes look potential Lego sets! I so gotta see the movie!
-
Thanks Shadows I had been wondering about that for awhile now. By any chance do you know how/why this is done and how they get released into the world? Or is it a "if you tell me you have to kill" sort of thing!

What other SW "Battle Packs" would you like to see?
Smack replied to BearHeart's topic in LEGO Star Wars
How about an ARF trooper or a Kashyyyk trooper battlepack? I think both would be welcomed as only one Kashyyyk trooper was ever released and the ARF Troopers were seen in season 1 of Clone Wars I think. & maybe we will finally get a tactical droid in a droid commando type battlepack. But I think it would be in Lego's best interest to throw a Mando pack out sometime as they would sell like brick hotcakes. -
Have never seen a green only helmet-jetpack combo but I have seen a pearl? grey Jango Fett helmet on Bricklink. I wonder if both were made that way purposefully? P.S. how cool would it be if there were unmarked Boba helmets that popped up along with the release of the new summer sets!?! (Slave 1 of course!)
