  1. In all honesty I had already considered Doc a regulator of sorts anyway, so no surprise that he gets a well deserved promotion. Macoco also seemed to be reving things up in the Sci Fi forum, so he should have no problem with the transition. Congrats to both of you, I look for big things to come in this forum.
  2. Just went over to CUUSOO, signed up and supported this project. This would be perfect to continue a non license space theme for Lego. Brilliant work and I will continue to look in at your progress and the evolution of this theme. Good luck to you and your creation sir.
  3. Stopped by the TRU today in hopes of finding some CMS series 7 and they had 3 full boxes! The employee let me search the box and I got the two figs i wanted - the knight and Galaxy Patrol. Absolutely love the GP fig but I have to say I am disappointed that the knight torso has zero printing on it. The rest of the fig is nice but at least a little printing would have been appreciated Lego! On a final note I continue to dislike the Chinese? plastic that the figs continue to be made of. Love the CMS but the usual plastic Lego uses for figs would put them over the top - I would honestly pay more for the better quality.
  4. Sorry Rook, I wasn't trying trying to sound interviewer-ish. The time, effort, and sheer part count astounds me as well as the finished product (of course). Just a big fan of your work my friend. And on another more important note I wish all the best to your wife. I hope all is going well for her and continues to be that way.
  5. You never fail to dissapoint sir - and this monster is no exception. I as well as others am/will wonder the dimensions/part count when you have the time I am sure. I did read on your flickr stream that there were some things you don't like about this build and I have to wonder what they are. This to me is one fantastic build and as a fan I have to wonder what you dislike. I look forward to more pics including interior shots when you photobucket? is up or when you have time to take more. Great visual on the the pics you have here. Fantasic work again man, awe inspiring even.
  6. Wow I want to compliment so many parts of this masterpiece (MOC to me is not quite an appropriate term) so I will just say what a wonderful creation this is to look at. I have stopped by to admire more than once and decided I had to comment. I mean when you even like the crates in the scene that speaks of the awesomeness of this build. Thanks for sharing this with the community and I look forward to your next creation.
  7. I really like your non-license interpretations of Star Wars scenes and this is no exception. The characters are instantly recognizable - even the brick built Boba. I wonder how many of these MOC's were created before the Star Wars license that never got to be seen in this kind of forum. I am sure their makers are very happy and proud of the work you have done. I look forward to your next creation.
  8. Just left a local Meijer here in the states and I picked up an Ewok Attack set there for $12.49 USD. I got more as a parts pack and to have a couple extra ewoks (can you ever have enough ) They also are having sales on the 2012 battle packs ($10 USD) and Droid Escape ($15 USD). Just thought I would throw it out there for you all.
  9. This is a fantastic diorama. I love the droids - especially the astromechs. They seem to be much more in scale with the lego figures imho. I look forward to more scene recreations.
  10. Hopefully I don't get in trouble for asking but what was the recent announcement? Also, I wouldn't mind Lego exploring TOR a little more. I am really digging the starships in the game and the two sets they are releasing this summer look good.
  11. Well I have been stalking this topic LD as have many others I could only assume Pure inspiration IMHO. I will also continue watching in anticipation for the finished product. Please continue the updates for all us keeping track.
  12. I wanted to say thanks to both you and Oky for the great review! I was not going to get this set and after you comic and his reference pics and vid I went out and picked it up. I like the set very much and feel it is one of if not the best set value-wise this winter wave. Three great figs and my first lego mech. (Knees would have been nice but can be an easy fix as stated). I guess my plan to stick to just Star Wars and the upcoming LOTR line just went down the tubes. Thanks again guys for enabling an addict. (Lego of course)
  13. Like Mr. O'Patra said that might be the best infiltrator I have ever seen in Lego form. Great idea and execution!
  14. I hope I don't get in any trouble for the little bump here but I just had to comment on this work. There is so much going on in this MOC that I wouldn't know where to begin. I love the elevation changes and the different structures that seem to fit perfectly in spite of their differences. One of my favoite MOC's to date.
  15. I really think this should be presented to Cuusoo as a valid entry for production! Brilliant work. I would put the falling on the floor laughing emoticon but it might be redundant at this point. (I did get quite the chuckle at work though)
  16. I recently purchased both the Tie fighter and the Jedi starfighter and am very happy with both sets. The Tie is a beautiful design IMHO. The Jedi starfighter is a much improved and welcome update for me. It kinda makes me want to purchase a couple more, but I have to be patient for the summer sets.
  17. Taking a quick look at the FBTB photo gallery for the toy fair Pre Visla's starfighter is reported to be the Target exclusive, so it is likely that Palpy's Arrest is the Wallmart exclusive. One thing though, Wallmart did not have an exclusive in the 2012 winter wave. Do they only get one exclusive a year?
  18. I hope that this is not to much of a bump. I just purchased and built this set and I am very happy with it. IMO it is a welcome update and a much more accurate representation of one of my favorite ships OT or PT. Yes it is a little larger than it should but I can live with that as it would be hard to build the ship accurately because of the cockpit size. As more of an OT guy I am a little more hesitant when buying other sets but this was well worth it. I might buy another.
  19. I browsed this thread wondering if there was/is a cut off date to sign up for a guild. I would like to sign up and was wondering if I was to late.
  20. So I just got done with the light read that is this thread (sarcasm) and I started thinking about the new "impulse" set (mini, minifig, and planet). Could it be possible that the planet could be similar to the globe in the POTC battlepackyish set? It is small for a lot of detail but I just thought I would throw it out there.
  21. Of course you are correct, sir. I have been attempting to brick build an Eta 5 so it must have been on my mind when I commented. True it does look similar to the previous models released. I do think some color variation would be interesting, though. Back on topic this does look like something that I would want to watch and I for one am looking forward to it.
  22. Well in the third pic shown above I believe I see some Eta 5's in the background with Threepio and R2. Could there be a remake for that ship in the near future?
  23. Hey I commented on your WIP ship MOC and was wondering if you had any updates yet. Looking forward to seeing some pics.

  24. That could be the case. To me it doesn't make sense that there would be so many misprints.
  25. I don't spend a lot of time in the town forum but I really enjoyed looking at this. You have a lot going on and you can tell a lot of time was spent on this. Thanks again for sharing.
