soccerkid6 Posted June 14, 2015 Posted June 14, 2015 Location: A05-Yallorn II Tags: Vehicle, Exploration Job: Driver Log Update: After operating the TR-2 Mining Rig, it was a welcome change to use the T-4 Buggy to scout ahead on planet A05. The individual front and rear suspension soak up even Yallorn II's mountainous terrain, and it's one of the fastest vehicles I've driven. The scouting expedition itself was mostly uneventful, I ran across a few small aliens, but they scampered off quickly. I made sure to keep an eye on them though, as harmless looking creatures often turn out to be anything but that. The T-4 Buggy features working suspension, and the ability to swap out modules for different missions. Weapons module for scouting missions: Cargo module: Secondary cockpit module: I tried to capture a rocky moss covered look to represent Yallorn II's mountainous landscape. C&C welcome Quote
kabel Posted June 14, 2015 Posted June 14, 2015 Wow, what an awesome vehicle! I really like how you can swap modules, just so cool. Funny aliens, great landscape - seems like you can build just any theme! Quote
Graham Gidman Posted June 14, 2015 Posted June 14, 2015 You would not believe how much I like this. That landscape... Quote
aeralure Posted June 14, 2015 Posted June 14, 2015 Read the title and came in expecting to see what I envisioned in my head - and I did - only it was better! I love this. It's really funny, but then the build is amazing. The vehicle is great and, like Graham, I adore that landscape. Quote
Big Sal Posted June 14, 2015 Posted June 14, 2015 Amazing buggy, amazing aliens (so much character!) and amazing landscape! Quote
Zepher Posted June 15, 2015 Posted June 15, 2015 Love the aliens - so adorable and silly looking, and you can imagine just how they "scamper". The buggy is really nice too - though perhaps the center of it could have used something different than those vent pieces? I love the moss and the light blue adds a ton - all your pastel colors do! I'm very jealous of them, they look alien as hell and I've got to track them down. The cockpit of the buggy looks just as heavy duty as your previous piece, which I love, and the suspension system for the wheels. The customizability is awesome as well. Quote
rodiziorobs Posted June 15, 2015 Posted June 15, 2015 I love the color and shape of the terrain, and the goofy aliens, but the design (modules!) of that buggy is the best bit. Fantastic work, here. Quote
SpacerSteve Posted June 15, 2015 Posted June 15, 2015 The module idea is a neat one for a buggy. The terrain is also nicely done. Quote
shmails Posted June 15, 2015 Posted June 15, 2015 The buggy is cool, but the landscape is awesome! I love the color combos, especially the foliage. Quote
Kai NRG Posted June 15, 2015 Posted June 15, 2015 I'm really liking the mix of light blue and light grey, and that double seater vehicle is really neat! Quote
pombe Posted June 15, 2015 Posted June 15, 2015 Brilliant! Awesome buggy! Awesome modules! Awesome terrain! Awesome aliens! Just totally awesome! Quote
Garmadon Posted June 15, 2015 Posted June 15, 2015 Very nice landscape SK; but the buggy really steals the show! The two-seater version is very nice as well! Quote
David FNJ Posted June 15, 2015 Posted June 15, 2015 Those aliens look so cool, and the dark red plants add a nice contrast with the blue and light grey mountainous landscape. The shaping of the mountain is stellar! That buggy is fantastic with the four-wheel suspension and removable modules. Awesome job! Quote
Mr Greeble Posted June 15, 2015 Posted June 15, 2015 Awesome color scheme! That rover will come in handy for M.A.N.TI.S.! Quote
