  1. Sometimes you find a theme that you like, so you stick with it. Here is my next MOC, the OCTAN Air Racer. Much more at thirdwigg.com, and instructions are at Brickshelf.com once moderated. The MOC features: Working 8 cylinder Radial Engine Working joystick Dual left and right ailerons Working elevator Retractable landing gear Opening cockpit With the gear down. The radial is more like two boxers perpendicularly connected. A little video. Enjoy and happy building.
  2. As first preparation for a Technic MOC of the famous Fokker Dr. I, I tried to make the most compact 8-cylinder radial engine (I know, it should be 9-cylinders...) See attached the solution I came up with, but with this size the model would still be 100 studs long/wide and this a bit too big to my liking after the huge Cadillac. If anybody has a solution for a working 8-cylinder that is smaller then this, please let me know. This one does howvever work quite nice also at high speeds (~1500 RPM) Instructions can be found on rebrickable: http://www.rebrickab...aircraft-engine
