  1. Hi all! For no particular reason, I am interested in finding out every time the Moon has been included in a LEGO set in some form. Given that there isn't really any reliable way to find this out (i.e. through Bricklink or similar), I thought it would be fun to come here and see if any of you know of any sets that include some representation of the Moon. If you know of any, please include the set's name and a short description of how the Moon is represented. Note: I completely respect that this is completely trivial and that most people won't care, but I posted this just in case anybody knows of any relevant sets to help me out on my useless little mission. I'll start with a couple of examples from sets in my collection: Harry Potter 76407 Shrieking Shack and Whomping Willow; includes the moon on a rotating clear stand behind some clouds, represented by a glow-in-the-dark 3x3 round tile. Ninjago 71813 Wolf Mask Shadow Dojo; includes the eclipsed Blood Moon as seen in Dragons Rising season 2, represented by a large printed dish held up above the dojo by a transparent piece. I'm interested to see if anybody knows of any other sets! (I know they're out there, I just know there's no way I'll be able to make a complete list all by myself, hehe)
  2. Ever since reading the novel adaptation for The Lego Ninjago Movie. I wanted to make a combined mecha of the six ninja's vehicles. I have a general idea of what it should look like. But the main problem I'm having is I'm terrible at large scale custom builds. The sets i'm talking about are the Fire Mech, Ice Tank, Lightning Jet, Water Strider, Quake Mech and Green Ninja Mech Dragon. I have an lxf file of the 6 sets and if anyone would be interested in helping me make this. I would really appreciate it. Would anyone be interested in helping me?
  3. Hi everyone I need some help to troubleshoot an issue that I'm having with a Pneumatic Pump. It has a leak, but I don't think that it is the piston or the one-way valve. I think that there may be a tiny hole in the black casing. Please watch this short (2 min) video for details: Has anyone experienced a similar problem, or have a solution? I was thinking that I could use some glue (hot glue / super glue / two-part epoxy) to block the hole, but I didn't want it to seep in and block the air flow completely. I've had this pump for a few years, but I think this is the first time that I have actually used it. If this is a manufacturing defect, do you think Lego would replace it? Any advice would be appreciated. Thanks.
  4. So, this last Wednesday i ordered some stuff from Lego's website. Since i live in Greece i had to give the address of an American friend of mine. So far so good. Apart from being seriously overpriced Lego sent me a mail a little later telling me to phone them to verify some things in order for my order to procced. If i didn't call within 48 hours they would cancel the order. Since i am bellow 18 i made an account on father's name who can't understand english that good. So, i decided to let them cancel it since i found these sets much cheaper on bricklink. The problem is that: they still haven't cancelled my order. I tried to do it manually but again, my father has to call them, something quite difficult (while he spent his early years in Australia and traveled through Europe when he was younger he can't speak good english anymore). I checked my pre-paid card and the money is still there though. So, do you think they'll cancel my order this weekend? I need to order these sets ASAP since i need them for some stop motions. Any help is appreciated!
  5. hey everyone, after seeing sebeus's new wip frigate, i got inspired to build the redcoat counterpart of it. i wanted to use sebeus's tumblehome technique, but i soon found that it ended up with a rather flat side. so i paired it up with kurigan's idea to flex the broadside, and started building! However i got stuck on making the stern. I wondered if i could get some advice, for i am rather blank for ideas at the moment. Thank you! pics: image by captaingoldenhook, on Flickr image by captaingoldenhook, on Flickr image by captaingoldenhook, on Flickr you can see what the stern looks like now: image by captaingoldenhook, on Flickr
