Hello! I made this series of comedy sketches featuring my Microfighter versions of classic space sets, mainly to amuse, but also to practice some new animation techniques and try and encourage some more support on the Lego Ideas submission which is languishing below 1k. It's a mixture of practical and CGI models, some stop-motion, and in the case of the micro space monorail, pulling it along on a bit of thread! If it raises a giggle, or even just a smirk, I'd be grateful if you could support the project on Lego Ideas, the link is in my footer.

Classic Space functionality meets Star Wars fashion with this mash-up of a Jedi Delta-7b Starfighter in Classic Space colors. This model is actually a amalgamation of two Star Wars sets: The two sets are number 9484, Saesee Tiin's Jedi Starfighter (link: http://www.bricklink...em.asp?S=9498-1 ) and number 8093, Plo Koon’s Jedi Starfighter (link: http://www.bricklink...em.asp?S=8093-1 ) The classic space logo should be on this piece: http://www.bricklink...sp?P=30363pb021 The model features red and green directional lights, trans-yellow canopy, (as per Classic Space regulations) two laser cannons under the wings, two rocket engines on the rear, three landing gear legs, and a escape pod made up of the cockpit. The engines are located underneath the wings, near the landing gear. You can also see the cockpit controls in this shot. (NOTE: I don't plan on building this model, but it looked too cool not to post. I call it a Beta class Advanced Prototype star fighter) Here is the LDD file: http://www.mocpages....1424706854m.lxf

Just a quick post to showcase a MOC I made earlier. The galactic adventurer, or galaxy explorer 2.0. It is based on the original classic space line from 1979, specifically the LL928 galaxy explorer. I wanted to have a beat up classic space ship that has seen a lot and is finally returning to the LEGO system to report it's finds. With minifigure brick built cockpit due to unavailability of trans-yellow windscreens. Some Greebles And an overview Hope you enjoyed Columbus

Having fun with the Galaxy Squad theme. Lovin' this series of sets (and pieces!) Back at the nest bug neophytes build a new egg with crystals from the planet while more mature bugs patrol the area. Young bug posing with his new viper. "How you doin' ?" (said with thick New York accent) Bug patrol ship The landing mechanism for the bug patrol unit. Lower wings tuck back and the third leg swings down. Surprisingly stable. The angles coming off the bar frame for the wings. I've got an 2L axil going through the back of the bar frame to the plate (with holes) on the front to add some strength. In 1979 Denmark quietly launched the Earth's first deep space exploration ship. Little did they know that their first encounter would be with the bugs Yeah the hood is hard to see over but that's the price you pay when you wanna look good in your viper. As im in the process of cleaning up all of MOC´s that i have staying around to prepare for finishing my Hanging gardens of Babylon, im kind of rushing through my shelves. So much have been staying around for so long with no progress going on. Also just to get a new start after my Dark age. Some are going straight to the trashbin, some i feel is ok to post. This was yet another that i felt was good enough to post, i would have done so much more to it. Change the clouds underneath, a lot of stuff i felt needed changed on the spaceship and the minifigs as well. However this along with so many others have been hanging around for over a year and i never got the inspiration to finish it. So just to get a fresh start being able to only focus on my Hanging gardens of Babylon, i just want to get rid of everything else. So this was wrapped up rather quickly as you will probably notice some holes and gaps around the build. However i felt it was fun enough to post. I will let the moderators decide wether its in the right forum as its sort of all over the place. All feedback is welcome as usual. KlodsBrik.
