    Prince of Persia 2010

That doesn't make a lot of sense. Why would Lego not release a line in Germany at all considering that Germany is Lego's biggest consumer and not that far away when you compare the distance from Denmark to Australia, US, Mexico, etc..

    Castle Sets 2010

Where did you hears this. I heard it was around August or September.

    Your dream Lego theme

I have to disagree with you. I was never attracted to vehicle sets when I was a kid. I always liked the pirates and castle line because of the castles and well, the ships which are not the kind of vehicles that you are talking about. I guess my point is that this line is not going to appeal to everyone. I absolutly cannot stand SW but, I will not deny that it is a successful line. Not everyone are going to like PoP either but, I think that enough will like it to make the line successful.

    WIP Privateer

I really like how you did the sides and the stern gallery. Can't wait to see it finnished.

    WIP HMS ... ?

Absolutly Gorgeous! It is really impressive. I wish I had the money to build something like that but, my funds are all tied up saving up the Prince of Persia sets.

WIP Teaser of an American Frigate

I have to say that this is really quite impressive especially the window gallery on the stern. Just beautiful. I can't wait to see it finnished.

The A-Z of things to build

There is a Ravensburger pirate puzzle that I got when I was a kid and it shows a gorgeous picture of a pirate frigate anchored in a bay next to a tropical island and several pirates rowing against the surf to bury treasure on the island. That picture will always stay with me. also some of Lego's advertising in the old catalogs has also fueled my Lego Pirate hobby.
  8. Very nice. I have the Skull Eyes Schooner and it is up there with the Imperial Flagship in my opinion.

"We were kinda cheated this year" - Discuss.

Well, I remember when the Skull Eyes Schooner went for $126 and that wasn't cheap back in the mid 90s. I do agree with you on the chinese plastic. I have had bricks that didn't fit well together to the point where it ruined the set and I don't believe that Lego should sacrifice overall quality control so that they can make more money. Do we really want to have Lego turn into Mega Bloks. I have had some of those MB sets and they are horrible so I do agree with you 100% there.

    Prince of Persia 2010

I just talked to a clerk at ToysRus and she said that they do have the sets on order in their system but, that they haven't got a release date yet. I do think that the sets will be coming very soon though if they have them on order at all. Yipeee!

    Prince of Persia 2010

That would be great but, I was just reading on brickipedia that the prince of persia line would be released on april 26th. Now I do have some reserves about brickipedia.com as far as the credibility of that information is concerned but, I just wondered if anybody else has heard that date?

    Where did he get those?

    Castle Sets 2010

I also agree with that. I would love to have some more mounted knights. Although dismounted swordsman are cool too.

    Prince of Persia 2010

I am a Huge Prince of Persia fan and I still would never pay $210 dollars more than the store price just so I can get the set two weeks ahead of everybody else. That is rediculous. Now if they were charging $50 over I might think about it but, never $210 more. I mean just think what you could buy with $210. I could get another Imperial Flagship, the entire Prince of Persia Lego line, two of the battle of almut sets, etc...

    Your dream Lego theme

Megablocks made a few narnia sets but, they were small and not very interesting. I just with Lego would produce POTC and more Prince of Persia sets based off of the games. I would also like to see a Lego Prince of Persia video game.
  16. Well I have to say that I like the design of the older BSB better but, I like the minifigs and the color scheme of the BB better. I guess it really doesn't matter though considering I have two IFs and they would blow both ships out of the water.

    Prince of Persia 2010

Well, I am very excited about these sets. I am a big Prince of Persia fan and I can just imagine the MOCs that I will build with these parts. I can hardly wait till they get out.

    Prince of Persia 2010

Thank you for posting the calender I am really excited about these sets. Do you think that you could put a picture of the store calendar on bricklink.com and then deeplink it? You could post a much larger picture without using up any of your memory for this forum.

    Prince of Persia 2010

This is great news. If I remember correctly ToysRus doesn't put toys up on their website unless they are coming out very soon like a week or two. Oh, I am so excited.

    Prince of Persia 2010

They are using the really old female hair piece for the Prince of Persia on the Lego website. Why are they doing that. I do hope they didn't decide last to not make the new hair piece and just go with the old. I know Lego wants to be somewhat generic when it comes to parts but, that is going way to far. The hair just doesn't look right on him because it isn't messed up enough. What do the rest of you think?

    Prince of Persia 2010

I wouldn't necessarily say that since I thought that a movie and Lego prince of persia theme was impossible from the get go.

    Prince of Persia 2010

This is great. From what I have seen the sets usually come out a month from when they get the site up so this is great news. Of course they said it would come in April but, this really confirms it in my mind.

REVIEW: Indiana Jones 7199 The Temple of Doom

I just bought this set and mostly because of your review. I was so impressed by what I saw in the pictures that I just couldn't resist. It is indeed a wonderful set and so full of details and traps. I really like the main skull and the mining carts. The whole thing reminds me very much of the Indiana Jones ride in Disneyland where I went on vacation in 2008. Thanks again for a great review and all of those great pictures.

    Your dream Lego theme

I would really like to see a Prince of Persia license based off of the game not the movie. I mean having a dark prince minifig and some sand monsters would be really cool. I also think that there is a lot they could do with it. The really old Prince 2 the shadow and the flame had the smugglers cave, the dead city, the temple, and the palace. Just with that game alone they could make 3-4 really large sets. I would also like to see a giant hour glass for the daggar of time and a Farah and evil vizier minifig would be great. Oh well, I guess I can thank my lucky stars that they got the movie license and that I can make those sets as MOCs.

    Your dream Lego theme

I am not squeamish I am just normal. Back on topic. I would love to see a POTC license. I think a Lego Black Pearl would be really cool and I would like a jack sparrow minifigure to go in pirate MOCs. I would also like it if Lego came out with King arthur theme or something similer. A big set depicting Camalot would be really cool. And why can't Lego come out with a Jurassic Park license. A new T-Rex with the trailers from the first movie would be really cool.
