  1. Is it something well known in Denmark (or elswhere) or a pure product of your vivid imagination ?

    *yoda*

Well, it is a combination :-$

In Copenhagen we have a Subway station called "Vesterport". That inspired this and a little this

But I just wanted to make the "a city above the city" look.

  2. Just bought a used mixed lot.

    And guess what I found

    6260 Shipwreck Island

    6274 Caribbean Clipper

    6276 Eldorado Fortress

6059 Knight's Stronghold and some other knights sets

6989 Mega Core Magnetizer and more M-Tron's

    Total for the lot

  3. p.p.p.s. Seriously, can all of you with info shut the hell up if you are not going to reveal anything, its more than annoying !! How many times do I have to say that seriously :-|

Please show some respect for other members and stop the bragging |-/

    *yoda*

My mistake. Sorry. Not a word more about this.

  4. what is interesting is that i got a mixture of new and old bricks in the same set, 8877. some of the 1x4 dark grey bricks had hollow centers and others had solid centers. and like you said they dont align properly.

Well - It is not a mix of new and old parts. It is a mix of new and old molds ;-)

I have talked with a guy at LEGO and I quote:

"The hollow studs are made to save material in the new molds!" But all molds are still in use 8-

  5. I first heard about it, but when the reality of backward incompatibility hit me, I decided to put my time elsewhere for now. Also, I hate the new motors.

The words take out of my mouth.

Seing the new NXT was such a dissapointment.

I am waiting for some good deals on the old one *sweet*

  6. Modulex is another LEGO company!

Started producing planning boards where you use "LEGO" tiles with letters.

They also tried to make small to scale bricks for architects

But architects always saw LEGO(Modulex) as a toy. Go figure *sweet*

The company still exists! Today the make "infomation bords". Look here modulex.dk

I found a little more info here

And here you can see it in use

Oh. And by the way I own some Modulex bricks :-$ Not that I use 'em much

  7. Nice , but what I don't really like is that your wagons end so abruptly. Passengers can't walk from on to another

Well. I did'nt build the wagons. I bought them for the bricks ;-)

I just havent gotten around to rebuild them yet :-$

I am focused on the layout for now. Trains and wagons later !!
